I usly presher wash mine then soak in white vinegar for two days and wash agin and then die and wax or paint them great vid brother

Awesome, I have seen people put new traps in vinegar was th er to start them rusting. Last summer I used a wire brush to knock the excess of. Thanks to this video I will be buying some vinegar

we have put brand new traps in the vinegar to strip oil residue after a pressure washing to allow them to take on a quick surface rust before dying, the vinegar is much safer than muriatic acid dip , we are running behind on trapping prep also. cant wait to get back after the fur ,it is like christmas day everyday on the line.

On your water traps, do you worry about the excess rust or just on the k9 traps?

I’ll do them if they get bad. But painting them really helps with keeping the rusting down
