Volkswagen is upgrading the third generation of the Touareg with extensive improvements: the suspension as well as the display and operating concept of the full-size SUV have been revised, and the front and rear design have been sharpened. Particularly striking features are the newly developed HD matrix headlights at the front and the LED taillights, which are realised as a light strip. For the first time in Germany it incorporates a red-illuminated Volkswagen logo. Presales will begin tomorrow on Thursday, 25 May. Prices start from €69,200.

Interesting that the painting configuration of this VW Touareg is pretty much the type of color configuration of the cars sold in the United States and yet, the car is not sold in the USA today. Strange.

Yes, though the back lights on the new Toureg look kind of evil. Perhaps that’s intentional. Most modern cars look demonic in my opinion.

Better than its brother Audi.Q7 and the dreadful Bentley. Outside a Range Rover Sport nothing comes close! If it had to be an SUV this would be the one. Brilliant revamp.

The Interior is very nice, the exterior has some nice details but overall looks very generic, especially the side looks, you can´t tell it from at least 10 other SUVs, seems it lost some of its personality.

Touaregs are always hogging the outside lane. The owners seem to think they have a right to take over the road.
It’s an extra option you can buy with the Touareg. It’s called PLL “Permanent Left Lane” and costs about 2000€.
