  • Upgrades & Modifications on the 2021 T@B, 320 Boondock Edition.
Here are 3 upgrades and modifications to make small living functional and durable. We reinforced the sleeping area to help distribute our weight. It is important to have something durable since we will be living here full time. We also added a Lagoon table mount to optimize our counter space. Don’t forget to order your gas gauge to keep track of your propane.

Music overlay was too loud, hard to hear him talk.
    GreatvTable mod!
Slats across those back cushion underlays Yes! That will fix it right up!!
Just looking at that on the RV sales vids you could see it would need that! Send the copied receipts to Tab for reimbusement!

Nice video, good info, however music is R-E-A-L-L-Y annoying. Kinda hard to hear you over it..

Wait- when you're in the kitchen- the table is too far away? he he he he there's nothing that's far away- inside a T@B.

Really wonderful thinking on the lagoon table! We have a T@Gxl... but if we ever spring for the T@B 320... we'll definitely remember this modification! Genius! I see that a corner of the pillow form didn't last long ... Glad you figured out how to keep things from sinking into that important storage area.
Here's a suggestion for people who can't hear your voice ...I used closed captions. That helped!
Wonderful work making the T@B even more functional!
Film editing is a lot of work... I have a few videos of our camping trips and it took me at least a year to get the courage to get on camera LoL ... take care! ~ Maria

Good video, but you really have to work on your sound editing. Volume of the music kept going up and down and sometimes was very difficult to hear you speak over the background music. Also an external mic setup might help you.

On the cushion frame, maybe buy some small brackets to mount on the framing to keep the slats from sliding but still keep removal easy.

Great tips! Nucamp should have made those changes to the bed because it looks like previously it was very poorly designed for such a nice trailer. I hope they take your suggestion and make upgrades to Future models. I plan on getting a 320s in the future and these will be some quick and simple modifications I will definitely make.

Its why I lean to the Litlle Guy Mini Max every time, over b.s. like ur mods show!
And that damn Stargazer rear window! If I cant see out all sides of my RV, & Im stuck in snow or rain...
And I cant see out a window... Whats the point?

Interesting video. One comment on the gas gauge, it only has two values, you have gas or you don't. Propane is a liquid that evaporates and maintains constant pressure until the liquid is gone, when the liquid is gone the pressure will drop very quickly. You do get some pressure difference with temperature, which will probably the only movement you see until you run out of gas. The only really accurate one is one that's integrated into the tank with a float. There is an ultrasonic one but its finicky, so I wouldn't waste money on it.

These are all great suggestions! I have the same 2021 320s (without microwave). On the cushions, I had the same exact failure on both sides! Was super disappointed by such shoddy construction, but NuCamp did replace them both under warranty. I did some reinforcing to the cushion frame to prevent further failures, but might go your route and install some slats. I just ordered the Laugun mount and the paper towel mount you all have. Can't wait to add these mods. You might also want to try installing a rod with hooks above your sink and stove (below the tiny upper cabinets) Gives you a ton more usability out of the kitchen area. Check out the Wallniture Lyon 31.5" rod on Amazon. Looking forward to more vids from you all!

Chris: We did purchase the King Cover your recommended and it would work for us. Unfortuatly, the one we got from Mr.Bezos was used, with mud and dead plant material in it, a well used one. Guess we are picky, sending it back, no fault of yours. Keep the tips coming, you guys are great.

if u could stop the music when your actually speaking it would be very helpful. it’s a bit distracting and difficult to hear you. otherwise. awesome and helpful.

If you haven’t already thought about it maybe consider using Velcro on the planks

Well done! I have to ask, how do you break a cushion?

    • @ES-mq9ox
      @ES-mq9ox 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Ahem!!... I think that may possibly be asking for TMI - lol... I'm not saying that's how they did it, but I can think of at least one way that two healthy young adults could "do it" (breaking the cushion - that is) and maybe not want to tell the YT world all the details about it - lol (again)!! ... P.S. - that happened to me and my wife (then GF) with the flimsy metal bed frame in our "new to us" apartment back in our college days almost 40 years ago. Have fun Chris & Gris !!!

Hi Brent, It does not fit under the bed and the pups love to sleep under our bed. It's nice and cozy.
