A copper goblet?

I'd recommend getting laptops that uses USB-C power delivery for charging and/or getting a 12v power adapter for laptops (cigarette lighter input). Using an inverter tends to be very inefficient vs DC power.

I havent seen a recent post from you guys, hope you been well. I was just wondering how you registered your trailer in California. Im thinking about getting a 320 as well, and i saw on the dmv handbook that it could be classified as a permanent trailer.

That's pretty slick. Your choice of location seems a little odd--is there some interesting hiking or other activity in the area? ...seems a little desolate, but maybe that's the appeal? In any case, it's a really interesting proof of concept--showing that you can live comfortably in a harsh environment like that for a week. Thanks for a great discussion of boondocking!

Good basic info on orientation - we go out for a week at time with our 2019 T@B on moderate 4x4 trails. We have a Lock & Roll hitch/coupler and a Jack-e-up for ground clearance along with updated cabinet latches to make that possible. Our 3-way frig runs on propane, so we get by with just a 90watt solar panel. However, it is just as small as yours - so we fill an Otter cooler with ice to provide additional space for a head of lettuce. Our truck is lifted one inch higher in the back so it rides level when towing (Old Man Emu). Happy Trails

I loved the explanations of passive solar orientation. You also made clear about which types of outlets worked off grid. I have a cpap machine I use at night. If I understood you correctly, the extra solar panels worked to a battery that would power the ac outlets. Thank you!

Do you have a problem with jerky brakes? I have an Echo brake controller and have that problem.

We have the tab 320 also! To cut down on disposable plates/utensils, use reusable. Clean plates by wiping first with small piece of papertowel, then spritz with vodka or vinegar- water. Wipe with clean damp cloth. Air dry or towel dry. VOILA! No gray water, no throw aways besides a small piece of paper towel.

Nicely done with real life experiences shaping the set up of this teardrop model. Now we're exploring couple sized trailers for weekend to week long trips (when not babysitting grandkids LOL) that can towed with our Tundra with the smaller V8.
