  • Hi and Welcome.
    This video is about my generator that I built a few years ago.
    It is powered by a LG washing machine motor which when powered drives six independent Generators that can produce 24 volts and 4 amps if required. Thats a wattage total of 96 watts per generator at full power.
    But because I will be charging a 12 volt battery with this generator on this occasion I will only be using 14 to 15 volts to show you how the machine works.
    You will see that each of the 6 generators has their own solar charge controller, voltage meter and amp meter so they can be monitored individually. I can power 6 units or just one unit depending on what I need to achieve.
    The LG motor is powered by a VFD inverter due to the motor being 3 phase.
    I intend to use a power inverter to drive this unit off its own batteries to achieve the loop whilst charging up the batteries being used.
    Sorry but the Video ends very abruptly at the end because the battery in the camera ran out of power, typical lol.!!!
    Anyway I hope you enjoy the video and if you have any questions please feel free to comment.
    Please leave a like and thumbs up and Subscribe if you haven`t done so already, This will help me build my channel up so I can produce more items of interest to show you. Thanks for watching and Keep safe. Regards

    You must be a retired military or marine technician. Only they have the standard in managing components, wiring, and safety in such a great clean and organized manner. Excellent experiment. The idea of utilizing monster torque of the WM Motor makes sens to couple it mechanically, although it will cause a mechanical drag but no one has done this before. It is possible the mechanical drag is not as strong as magnetic drag. We will see your second part for self-powering close loop system. Thank you for sharing. I really liked your well-organized schematic of each generator. Great job! Keep it up sir. Lots of respects from Canada.

      Hi. Thankyou for your positive comments , Nice to hear from someone who can see the potential in this generator. In part 2 you will see that I run the whole unit off one battery making it a closed loop system, I only ran it for a few minutes for the video on you tube but it seemed to work ok. but I will be testing it with long running times. I am also going to change the PWM units to MPPT units which will maximise all of the volts and amps that are being generated. Still working out how to change batteries over (If needed.) Once I have run it using the MPPT units I will post another video showing the results, good or bad. Its all about trying out different ideas. anyway thanks again . make sure you have subscribed so you dont miss any new videos of mine. Regards Deryck

    Somethings wrong, if u use 320W you give back to the batteries 15V•2A for each MPPT, wich means 90W for 3 MPPT and in yhis case maximum 180W, how cannot you tell the others 140W where used to activate the motor at 275RPM?
    PS: i apreciate your work, very interesting

    i have seen a few people using these motors in their testing labs ,and have configured them in Bedini and pulse configurations .the drive motors i am really interesting though and there are some leaking into the ev sports cars now that are an axial flux motor and a radial flux motor in one the winding are on each side and over the outer edge then they use magnets on the out edge with iorn arm the bend the feild around to sides ,similar to the way the altinator bends it magnetic feild ,these motors now have crazy top rpms with high torque while being a 1/4 to a 1/3 the width of a radial alone and can easily be dilectric liquid cooled

      Hi Angus. The aim is to generate enough power to run this on on a power inverter as I have shown in part 2 . If I can do that I can complete the loop to run itself with power to spare. I am still trying to find out how much power I need to generate to accomplish this. Thanks for your interest, please subscribe so you can keep up with what I am doing. lots to see. no probs Deryck thats where i thought you were going .I drive inefficencies are where we get let down thats why the devices that have got the closest so far to over unity have been the pulse motors with massive 2-3 pound coils of copper they have 3 stator coils with 2 neo dymium magnet rotors between them .when paired with sensors an right controller they can reach resonence and magnet flux saturation then then curent used drops off to near nothing.also if they use 6 coil pairs each time 2 coils are fired they have 4 coils to pull energy back from .gerard morin was very close to a production model last time i read up on him you might get some ideas from his videos too @@DeryckThompsonChasingtheDream

    • @angusmcgil
      @angusmcgil 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      one thing i didnt notice was that you could probably leave out the pwm charge controllers they would be wasting energy on you if you rpm is stable and voltage is stable they wouldnt be needed.anything you can trim out will help

    • @DeryckThompsonChasingtheDream
      @DeryckThompsonChasingtheDream  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Angus I must have watched 95% of Gerard Morrin`s videos it was he who got me really interested in this over unity lark. I have seen many videos of Bedini motors with big coils and my thoughts was the coils can only give a small amount of current and voltage before it starts to drag the motor down. My idea is to use my idea with at least 3 batteries that can be timed to change to which one is the power battery at any one time. therefore keeping ahead of the power being used. The generators I use can generate 24 -27 volts and 4amp if the washing machine motor drive is quick enough approx 350 rpm which isnt fast at all. The washing machine motors will reach 1000 RPMS when set up correctly. so still lots of power in reserve at the moment. Regarding the PWM I agree they are not too helpfull as they actually restrict the power back to the battery. I used these because of cost and I am still learning what is best to use. It is my intention now to use the MPPT units because it will use all the power generated by the 6 generators. I have quite a few ideas to get this machine to run itself and am confident that it can be achieved. Gerard Morrin was close at the end but disappeared all of sudden. Maybe he decided to keep the results a secret lol like so many on utube. Anyway hope you understand where I am with this idea just need a little more time and funds to get there. I enjoy what I do and its for fun and entertainment for all who are interested. All the best Deryck

      Awesome Deryck if you ever want to try a more configurable motor controller let me know and i can probably send you the parts for your channel ,using arduino and 3 inverter boards which will boost up to 400 volt from a low voltage and since you can adjust the frequency to whatever you want you can even reach 3000 rpm with that motor.ill even find the code for you as its already done for us cheers Angus,@@DeryckThompsonChasingtheDream

    • @DeryckThompsonChasingtheDream
      @DeryckThompsonChasingtheDream  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think the E2 can be a single phase in and single phase out. AND it can also be a single phase in and 3 phase out too. If you have U.V.W Terminals then yes you can run this motor as U V W relates to 3 phase output. hope this helps. regards Deryck. ps. it will tell you on the info label.

      Hi Thankyou for your question. I have done some testing and I believe that with this set up I can make the generator power its self which would mean over unity.
      my second video shows the generator being driven off an inverter powered from the batteries which are then being recharged all the time by the six individual generators that are being driven by the main center motor. I hope this makes sense to you. ( please see part 2) kind regards Deryck

    • @DeryckThompsonChasingtheDream
      @DeryckThompsonChasingtheDream  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Vadim In the video you will see me scrolling through the inverters settings and it shows that I am using approx 1 amp to run the machine and the voltage is 230 volt so the power is 230 watts. how ever when I am using all 6 generators the amps naturally go up to approx 1.5 amp making the power 345 watts. Even at 2 amps it is only 460 watts, which means that if I am producing 6 x 90 watts thats 540 watts generated. which is more out than in. Over unity I believe. Hope this makes sense to you and thanks for your interest.

    • @treaclev

      @@DeryckThompsonChasingtheDream
      sorry, but I don’t understand what 540 watts you are talking about
      i see 13 volts and 2 amps from each generator x 6 = 156 watts

    • @DeryckThompsonChasingtheDream
      @DeryckThompsonChasingtheDream  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@treaclev sorry for the confusion I was trying to explain that have 6 x 24volt x 4amp generators available and if it took 2amp and 230 volt to drive the unit fast enough approx 370 rpm then that will be Input of 460 watts which will give me the 540 watts of power from the 6 generators. I havent reached that point as yet and am still doing some testing but it looks promising.
      I have just uploaded a 2nd video maybe this will help to make it a little clearer to you. regards Deryck

      Hi. Many thanks for your suggestion, I have already tested that idea with a much lesser weight but as soon as you put more weight into the rotor it uses alot more power / watts due to the current increasing because of the extra weight that needs to rotated. instead of 1.5 amp being used with out any weight added it was going up to 2.5 amp and above making the input power way too high. eg: 2.5 amp x 230 volt is 575 watts input.
      but the out put power does not increase which isnt helpfull when trying to achieve over unity. Hope this makes sense to you. regards Deryck

    • @DeryckThompsonChasingtheDream
      @DeryckThompsonChasingtheDream  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It sure would but its not easy when you have 6 separate generators from one drive wheel. to wrap one belt around all those pulleys would create too much friction which would over exert the drive motor, which is what I have tried avoid. reason is I need the main drive power to be less than the 6 generators combined to achieve what I consider to be over unity. Hope this makes sense to you. regards Deryck
