No. It does help. It does work. Many fanatical supporters of the Israeli occupation began to worry about the rise of young people who were anti-war.
A lot of European countries support Israel. For example, Germany defends Israel at the ICJ. Of course protesting to pressure your government to cease their support helps Palestinians.
I was at the demonstration but on the center of Malmo, and I am honored that we, the Swedish people, were numerous and very active in the peaceful demonstration, including the elderly, the young, even the disabled and children.

Rather Danish, not Norwegian, because in the photos I found online of the Danish police at demonstrations I noticed on their backs yellow figures with numbers, but not in the photos of the Norwegian police at demonstrations.
Im from Denmark and its danish police. Malmø is 25 min from copenhagen. Last years they need help from danish police.

If you look carefully, you can see Swedish police officers in yellow having "POLIS" and their Danish colleagues having "POLITI" on their uniforms. Malmö is a border town.

For those who do not know what happened on the day of the competition. These people demonstrated near the competition venue, and because no one has the right to raise flags other than the participating countries or demonstrate, they were taken out of the area. The Swedish police intervened with the police of neighboring countries who came to support at the competition event. As for the demonstration, which was not widely covered in this news, it took place in the center of Malmö and thousands participated in it. There was no police intervention, it was a peaceful march, and the demonstration continued for hours.
