Also I wanna mess around with different OSTs as well (Xenoblade Chronicles and Fire Emblem are currently at the top of the list). I will definitely keep doing Ace Attorney stuff as well. There are several AA-tracks I want to do but I will need a different approach for this (as finding good tracks is becoming increasingly difficult). Have a nice day ;-)

A part of me feels like the gym leader themes each are made to fit the tone/aesthetic of their host region. Like, the Unova gym theme carries the feel of going up against an actual celebrity (which most of the Unova League actually are!) in a test of mettle, while the Sinnoh gym theme is a more intense battle against the elders and protectors of their respective cities that are barring your way forward, befitting the long-winded nature of the host region.
I think the Kanto theme was my favorite the moment the gen 3 remakes dropped with the new sound style, it was so intense and powerful it always got me hyped.

I looked up the official art and got that one as the preview (I believe I used the "show different sizes of that picture" or whatever it's called feature). Then I simply downloaded it without giving it a second look and it ended up being not quite the official one (I even remember specifically that this happened to me twice, lol)

Nanashima does a pretty good job at remixes, but they don't appear here. =( By the way, Sinnoh is the only Elite 4 exclusive ost you included here, for some reason, and it seems you didn't include BW Gym Leader theme.
Sinnoh's Gym theme and E4 theme are actually different. There's a much heavier bass line in the E4 version, and it tends to stick to the same octave for it's melody unlike it's Gym Leader original. It'd be fair to call the E4 version a remix of the Gym theme.
MissingNom Though this doesn't explain why Black and White don't get representation, since the B2W2 theme is very obviously a remix of the original gym battle theme
