@@bigtuscanleather Dricus is just next level in terms of determination. He sticks to his gameplan and keeps fighting n matter what. You can see some fighters' eyes widen upon struggling but certainly not him.
Sean hit Izzy with one power punch and izzy fell down but when Sean hit Dricus with multiple power shots Dricus didn't fall down he keep moving forward he didn't even stagger yet people say Izzy chin is more durable than Dricus what a joke
I think the awkwardness when it comes to DDPs rhythm and stance switches will make Israel too hesitant and unsure where the attacks will come from and DDP can have success with jabs and body kicks to eventually go for the takedowns or he can shoot immediately like he did against Till and just be patient enough in the striking to bait and time Israel when he’ll lean back to counter then DDP can shoot for a takedown…while Israel is dangerous early, has the leg kicks and stance switches himself, I think DDP game planning, athleticism and well rounded ability will win him this fight by finish…
According to Dricus's coach, the following says everything, DDP will be prepared: “For Izzy, you’re guaranteed that there’s going to be a lot of kicks, a lot of punches, a lot of speed, very evasive and not easy to catch - one of the best fighters in the world, ever to fight in the UFC, until Dricus arrived.
“We haven’t shown them anything yet, and that’s what they can’t figure out - we’ve got a different gameplan for every fight.”

Wow, what a great breakdown! Spot on! I also think on the end of the day it is going to come down to who wants it more, who is more hungry & DDP said himself he is not going to play Izzy's game standing in the middle of octagon & kickbox, but it is easier said than done. DDP will have to come up with effective gameplan to cut Izzy off circle-ing out when DDP trying to pressure Izzy, maybe high kicks to cut him off but Izzy will know this. So expect some other strategy. Both high IQ fighters & good coaches with good game plans and backup gameplans. Also leaning towards DDP 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦

Risking oversimplification, I believe that Dricus possesses too many weapons for Izzy to handle. Being a high-output, forward-aggressive fighter, Dricus will not allow Izzy to effectively implement his own game plan at the necessary level to win this fight. Dricus will win this fight in any way he chooses. Additionally, I've noticed a notable shift in Izzy's demeanor; he appears more humbled and comfortable with himself

The day before the fight, there's a rugby game between Australia and South Africa.
There'll definitely be enough South Africans in the crowd to cheer DDP on, plus Izzy called the Australian fans racist last time he was there.

Americans keep claiming Adesanya has home crowd advantage, Americans must not know the difference between New Zealand and Australia, or their flags. See the red stars on the flag there? That's the NZ flag, the Australian one has white stars. Israel Adesanya isn't Australian, he doesn't live here or train here, he has nothing to do with Australia, the time he fought here was against an actual Australian, Whittaker, and the Australian fans were bummed to see him beat Whittaker.
And the other time he fought someone here, was against that American Strickland, and the Australian fans actually supported Strickland in that. Adesanya isn't popular in Australia.
Both Dricus and Adesanya are foreign fighters to Australia, and most Australians would side with Dricus because he is a more easy going guy that has a similar behaviour to average Australians. BTW I am actually Australian.
This bothers me because I love geography 😂. That’s why I said “is it a home advantage for Izzy?” I know he’s from New Zealand not Australia, yes I know the difference. Yes it’s not his “home” but the UFC rarely go to New Zealand and some of these Australia events are marketed as home fights for the Kiwis. I still think the crowd will cheer for Izzy more than DDP.
I'ma bit surprised you didnt speak alot to the grapple game. DDP ha a huge grapple game that we havent seen much from him inthe UFC and Izzy is, as you said, the better striker. I wouldnt be surprised if this is the fight DDP shows off his ground work and we see Izzy lose by submission

You could be the guy to slide into Lucas Tracey's spot..Might need to add a little humor..I could make a case for both fighters, however DDP has more ways to win, where Izzy is one dimensional, except he is one of the very best specialty fighters in the UFC. I think DDP has the edge in MMA fight IQ, physicality, motivation, and adaptation..I see DDP winning rounds 3--4 and 5..Atleast that is my guess..I do think Izzy should have needed a win to get this title shot, it's not earned or fair..It's based on perceived profits, which opportunities should not be based on in sports..Fighters work their entire lives to earn a title shot, and millions of dollars are on the line for them.

Lazy Izzy has a boxing and wrestling problem. He also has an attacking problem fighting a fighter he only moves forward. Izzy might clip his iron chin when ddp attacks. Izzy has a chin problem too.

I think your bias is a very profound in this brake down that is supposed to seem neutral. and that's okay. But because you're so bias you can't critically brake down this fight. But I enjoy watching while in traffic.
Here’s the thing about bias. Obviously as a fan of the sport I’m going to have fighters I’m a bigger fan of. DDP is one of my favorites, Adesanya isn’t. With that being said, I say what I see. I don’t break down my fights with bias because what’s the point of doing that? I want to get my predictions correct and want to genuinely find out who I expect will win. Just cause I’m leaning towards DDP doesn’t mean I broke this fight down with bias. Izzy obviously has a chance to win as well, one of the best fighters ever. Hate to break it to you but everyone has preferences and opinions on everything. A real knowledgeable breakdown will always have a hint of bias because we are fans of the sport. Nobody’s a fan of everyone equally. I try to not let my preference seep into my breakdown of reality. If I think DDP loses than I pick Izzy, I just don’t see it that way

I think Izzy shocks the world again with a devastating stoppage. Izzy is so known for countering with less than 60% shots, or half assed shots....I think DDP is coming in here thinking he can eat anything Izzy throws at him, except I don't see Izzy throwing no half assed shots in this fight, and will hurt Dricus rushing in pressing forward, doubling the power of Izzies counters. I'm feeling like a huge knee puts Dricus out completely cold.
