There's a fantastic unleavened bread recipe book on Amazon called “Unleavened Bread Recipes” by Maxine Malazdrewicz. It has over 165 recipes! Basic breads, specialty breads, crackers, stuffing, bars, cookies, desserts, pie crusts, you name it! Definitely an awesome cookbook to have for the Passover and Days of Unleavened Bread.
My bread look more a weak biscuit than a traditional matza. When the oven is 350ºF, I put the pan and ten minutes later the unleaven bread still raw; then I turned up to 450º meanwhile It continued cooking for 7 more minutes. I do not know what I did wrong but, anyway, I liked the oily taste very much. I notice that you use a whitest flour than me, even though I am not sure if this is why you get a better result
ONCE when I have seen your video many monthes before. I always use this recipe.. literlly. sometimes I put in oven. sometimes over the stowe. it taste incredible. i serve this with enything mediteran style.. olives, red wine, salted sardines, my boys love the way it is.. thank you
I live at a Higher Altitude (6500ft) the recipe comes out like what comes out of the bucket when building a sand castle, dry and crumbly hard to form even if doing just flat
Does whole wheat flour have to be used since wheat is an inflammatory substance and in me having gout that will cause a flare up for me can AP flour be used ??? Shalom
We are on coronavirus lockdown and I wanted to make bread but I don’t have any yeast so I found this recipe and just tried to make it and it looks like you are using a half sheet pan so that’s what I used and I couldn’t get it thin Enough. I’m curious if you used a full sheet pan. I was really looking forward to tasting this but it just didn’t work for me
I tried this but it took way longer than just 10mins to bake. I would love to know how thin do I need to go for this. mine was only 1/4 of an inch does it need to be less than this?

Hi there. You can make a sourdough starter as well if you don't have yeast.
@@dashulamite sourdough starter is leaven.
@@gracef244 yes, the poster said she was out of yeast so I suggested sourdough starter as a substitute.
@@dashulamite right, ok
