One could imagine that as one passes from this earth to heaven above that you would hear this piece as you entered the gates of heaven... Divinely inspired music is a channel in which you come to feel Our Heavenly Fathers presence.....

Love your use of solo stops for the melody Paul - the temptation is to make them too dominant you use them so subtlety - a very fine rendition.

I was listening to another video, whilst getting ready for work. The video ended, and THEN this video of yours started to play. Without even knowing that this was your particular video, I said to myself, “now that’s THE BEST organ arrangement I’ve ever heard. Very smart in it’s incorporation of all the familiar themes.”…..only after I had listened entirely to the video did I look to see whose it was. Incredible. Bravo 👏

Beautifully played! Because I want to show the video to kids in a music class, and kids always ask a lot of questions: we see you playing in a room (with a lot of penguins, they'll love that). But the recording is from the organ in the Laurenskerk. How is that possible? Please let me know so that I can answer the children's questions.
Ooh, thank you so much!! That’s pretty easy to explain: each note of the real organ has been recorded and digitalized. The „Hauptwerk“ PC software allows you to play these samples on your organ at home - thats what I did here. The shots from the church are from a visit of mine there earlier this year 😀

Once again, þe canon is broken. I feel it quites defeats þe genius and purpoſe of þis oþerwiſe lovely piece. It is, firſt and foremoſt, a canon. If þe 3 independant voices are not playable by 2 human hands, þen þey ſhould not be. Or if þey are, þey are not to keep þe original name, and could only be called "chaconne in D major".
