Some comments have said it isn't great even to newer players, but we still believe it's not a terrible tower, as it is completely free, as long as you surpass Level 30. Opinions may change upon more thought, but this is our standing for now! Medic - After further consideration, we are debating, for beginner/intermediate players, that Medic is the WORST of the intermediates, rather than Freezer. This is only STRICTLY for newer players, but for advanced players, Medic is a great tower; closely deserving A Tier for advanced players! Militant - Can be used in harder gamemodes, just starts to lag behind the Advanced Towers. Freezer - I (Seb) personally believe it's more of a C Tier, due to it not being very useful to many players. However, it has been able to redeem its past self. Could be better than Medic for beginner/intermediate players. Farm - We've started to believe that Farm may be the new S+ Tier Tower of Intermediate Towers, but we WANT to emphasize to newer players, that DAMAGE is key-assuming you want to deal tons of damage, and have the ability to solo game modes. Militant helps you achieve that easier than Farm, as Farm is only useful when you have towers to spend the extra money on. Although, to advanced players, Farm is definitely better than Militant. As long as you have 1 or more DPS Troops in your loadout. Rocketeer - Feels more like a C Tier, but isn't that terrible if you pair it with the higher-ranked towers. Do NOT use on its own though, it does terrible. Shotgunner - Good as it is in the video. May perform better than video displays, with supports and high-dps towers. Trapper - Very debatable, could be in C Tier, but it does surprisingly well when spammed, and paired with support (as said in video) Pyromancer - Can be A Tier in some circumstances, but for intermediate players, B tier. Ace Pilot - Does very well if used strategically. Regardless, good as it is in the video. Military Base - It DOES deal Flying Enemy Damage past Level 4, if you use Airstrike Ability on Flying Enemies. Regardless, good as it is in the video. Yoo its the penguindud! A lot of these placements you made here make sense tbh. When do we ever see people use the regular crookboss unless its for a quest or the mission? Even for a new player’s perspective, its not really that good.
I know that tier list are quite subjective so there isn't much I can say about that but, I feel like some key information are being neglected. Personally Trapper is heavily misunderstood by how it should be optimally used. From personal experience, it should be close to the frontline with mines as it provide great cc including defense melt from the burn damage. Another thing to point out is that spawner tower like military base are quite unreliable in multi-lane maps.

Honestly in my opinion S+ : farm S : ace pilot and military base A : medic, militant, shotgunner B : rocketeer , pyro , crook boss C : trapper D : freezer
This is essentially what we would give a rating to super-advanced players (Players with most if not all coins + level towers unlocked), but we wanted to emphasize that buying high-damage towers is key for newer players, in order to beat game modes a lot easier. My favourite Tower is Militant, because it helped me in my early Levels to win Molten and Normal Mode. When it was John tho it was INCREDIBLY better...🗿💪🏻
This tier list couldn't have been better. But I unfortunately have to disagree with crook boss. There are too many towers that can replace it like militant or ace. It really doesn't have a gimick that makes it necessarily stand out. And a lot of towers in B tier are better than it. Great video though.❤

We may have underestimated how easy it is to obtain Level 30, that is our mistake. We like Crook Boss due to its stats, backup support with crooks/goons, and you could even add into account that it is one of the 6 towers that has a golden skin and variant. Ive seen people rank crook boss pretty low, but i disagree. Ive used crook boss for the most of my tds experience (lvl 101 now), crook boss has basically carried me through everything over level 30, and ive grown pretty used to using it. Though, i have replaced it for golden scout as i got it from my first gold crate, though, if i ever get golden crook boss, i will no doubt replace it over golden scout. But, overall, i agree with this tierlist, though i would place freezer in C-tier as it isnt the best support, and newer players definitely shoulndt buy it if they wont be playing with a friend.
Tbh, I expected rocketeer at D or F tier. Since its not a tower you would want to get early, it costs an insane amount to upgrade, and is just overall terrible with its deadzone

mil base is S or high A because with some supports and mini it can beat all the main gamemodes and it solos molten but itsnt as useful in harder gamemodes

There are two towers that can buff the range of troops, which are DJ Booth and Ranger (will be ranked soon!) However, Ranger can only buff troops' range for 20 seconds at the start of each wave, and this is unlocked at Level 2. Have a wonderful day!
Man, freezer being reworked from literally useless to playable (I saw someone bring freezer to pizza party and it helped a ton) and its STILL WORST OF ITS KIND. It was even moved up a tier, from starter to intermediate bruh

Hot take: Farm needs a rework to make it more risky and rewarding (Worse early, better late). As of now, farm has very low risk, but gives a to big reward making it overpowered. Farm should give less early, but far more late, but its also more expensive.
trapper is the best, it is basically one of the best early game towers and does well mid game and has exceptional crowd control, and basically does more damage than militant
Some of these got buffed/Balanced so overall Military base > B tier (kinda helpful in hardcore and fallen) Trapper> A-S Tier (Good Damage,Good stuns and has lead penetration and also hidden,Melts Defense and ignores Tank) Rocketeer> B Tier(Good sub dps,Can Get Supports easily and has Good range also High placement) Ace Pilot> B Tier (Good To give Hidden detection forever,Decent Dps,Mid range but its pretty good for starter) Medic - C Tier (Doesnt do much since most of the towers have stun inmunity or resistance)
Rocketeer should be bump up a little its a good alternative if you don't have any good late game towers like turret,accel,engi.Its out classed in solo by mini but in quad or more ut sure gonna be help full

my opinion militant: A tier (B- for high levels), fantastic dps tower until you get something like minigunner or rocketeer and it has flying detection so it has a niche as hc earlygame medic: B tier, stun cleansing isnt that useful for a player whos buying intermediate towers but it has good usage in high level play for cleansing boss stuns freezer: B tier (C for high levels), good stalling but outclassed by other stallers (cryo, fb) in high level play farm: S+, no explanation needed shotgunner: A- tier (A for high levels), not that great of a dps tower in lategame but can be extremely helpful for earlygame and midgame in both low level and high level play rocketeer: A tier (B- for high levels), good dps and crowd control and not extremely expensive with very good range, cant be used in earlygame though trapper: C tier (B- for high levels), ...why would you use this as a lower level? can be used for crowd control and i guessssss stalling as a high level though? ace pilot: A- tier, (A for high levels), good dps and earlygame as a lower level and used a lot in hc earlygame for its cost efficiency and flying detection pyromancer: B+ tier (B for high levels), defense melting and crowd control is extremely useful as well as fantastic earlygame golden pyromancer: A+ tier (not really intermediate but whatever) easily the best golden tower being able to be used as earlygame, crowd control, and support military base: A- tier (B+ for high levels), useful as dps in enemy waves and earlygame as well as airstrike being a great ability crook boss: C- tier, not great dps and not super cheap either golden crook boss: C tier, crook boss but improves on the dps while increasing price significantly. still mid, probably 2nd worst golden

Intermediate players should not get medic until they have good late game towers, freezer is actually quite underrated, it is even used in hc solo triumph strats now.
Freezer have defense melting too, like pyro but much worse i think medic is the worst intermediate tower, because new player don't have to use it and medic only good in lvl 5 because of the ability

Farm isn't 100% a necessity in every condition, but we have found it super useful in our Duo + Trio Hardcore Triumphs, as it is difficult to gain money in the beginning of Hardcore. It used to be an OVERPOWERED Troop, but was nerfed/reworked for fairness. It still does SUPER well, but it does need help of higher-damage dealing towers to survive game modes. It helps destroy hordes of enemies, and does decent damage at max, as well. But, due to its solo-struggle of high-health enemies, we knocked it to A Tier. Still an amazing tower, and one of my (Seb) favorites!

Ace Pilot can stay more relevant than Militant to advanced players, as well as the fact it cannot get stunned, and deals splash damage. This tier list couldn't have been better. But I unfortunately have to disagree with crook boss. There are too many towers that can replace it like militant or ace. It really doesn't have a gimick that makes it necessarily stand out. And a lot of towers in B tier are better than it. Great video though.❤

this tierlist is better than the previous one but like everyone said, crook boss shouldn't be that high. by the time you reach level 30 you would have better options by then.
We may have underestimated how easy it is to obtain Level 30, that is our mistake. We like Crook Boss due to its stats, backup support with crooks/goons, and you could even add into account that it is one of the 6 towers that has a golden skin and variant. Ive seen people rank crook boss pretty low, but i disagree. Ive used crook boss for the most of my tds experience (lvl 101 now), crook boss has basically carried me through everything over level 30, and ive grown pretty used to using it. Though, i have replaced it for golden scout as i got it from my first gold crate, though, if i ever get golden crook boss, i will no doubt replace it over golden scout. But, overall, i agree with this tierlist, though i would place freezer in C-tier as it isnt the best support, and newer players definitely shoulndt buy it if they wont be playing with a friend.

Tbh, I expected rocketeer at D or F tier. Since its not a tower you would want to get early, it costs an insane amount to upgrade, and is just overall terrible with its deadzone

mil base is S or high A because with some supports and mini it can beat all the main gamemodes and it solos molten but itsnt as useful in harder gamemodes

As you can solo Molten alone, and deal great damage with other friends! However, for advanded to super-advanced players, Farm is the better tower, for sure. Tds needs to add a tower can up the range like balloon paw in tower heroes and tower can shock the enimes
There are two towers that can buff the range of troops, which are DJ Booth and Ranger (will be ranked soon!) However, Ranger can only buff troops' range for 20 seconds at the start of each wave, and this is unlocked at Level 2. Have a wonderful day!
Man, freezer being reworked from literally useless to playable (I saw someone bring freezer to pizza party and it helped a ton) and its STILL WORST OF ITS KIND.

Farm can be swapped with cb but its not as effective as farm + cowboy
Cowboy is a great source of money, however we feel it only tops Farm after purchasing Level 4 Cowboy, which starts to get a bit pricy. Although, using them both is a great idea, rather than using one over the other. Thanks for commenting, have a fantastic day!

Rocketeer is prob the most underrated tower here, i duo'd hardcore mode with it and it carried early game due to early camo and strong dmg.
Rocketeer does quite well in the right contexts, but there are few, better options amongst the Intermediate Towers that newer players can afford for cheaper. We hope you understand, have a great day!
Hot take: Farm needs a rework to make it more risky and rewarding (Worse early, better late). As of now, farm has very low risk, but gives a to big reward making it overpowered. Farm should give less early, but far more late, but its also more expensive.

trapper is the best, it is basically one of the best early game towers and does well mid game and has exceptional crowd control, and basically does more damage than militant

Some of these got buffed/Balanced so overall
Military base > B tier (kinda helpful in hardcore and fallen)
Trapper> A-S Tier (Good Damage,Good stuns and has lead penetration and also hidden,Melts Defense and ignores Tank)
Rocketeer> B Tier(Good sub dps,Can Get Supports easily and has Good range also High placement)
Ace Pilot> B Tier (Good To give Hidden detection forever,Decent Dps,Mid range but its pretty good for starter)
Medic - C Tier (Doesnt do much since most of the towers have stun inmunity or resistance)

my opinion
militant: A tier (B- for high levels), fantastic dps tower until you get something like minigunner or rocketeer and it has flying detection so it has a niche as hc earlygame
medic: B tier, stun cleansing isnt that useful for a player whos buying intermediate towers but it has good usage in high level play for cleansing boss stuns
freezer: B tier (C for high levels), good stalling but outclassed by other stallers (cryo, fb) in high level play
farm: S+, no explanation needed
shotgunner: A- tier (A for high levels), not that great of a dps tower in lategame but can be extremely helpful for earlygame and midgame in both low level and high level play
rocketeer: A tier (B- for high levels), good dps and crowd control and not extremely expensive with very good range, cant be used in earlygame though
trapper: C tier (B- for high levels), ...why would you use this as a lower level? can be used for crowd control and i guessssss stalling as a high level though?
ace pilot: A- tier, (A for high levels), good dps and earlygame as a lower level and used a lot in hc earlygame for its cost efficiency and flying detection
pyromancer: B+ tier (B for high levels), defense melting and crowd control is extremely useful as well as fantastic earlygame
golden pyromancer: A+ tier (not really intermediate but whatever) easily the best golden tower being able to be used as earlygame, crowd control, and support
military base: A- tier (B+ for high levels), useful as dps in enemy waves and earlygame as well as airstrike being a great ability
crook boss: C- tier, not great dps and not super cheap either
golden crook boss: C tier, crook boss but improves on the dps while increasing price significantly. still mid, probably 2nd worst golden

Freezer have defense melting too, like pyro but much worse i think medic is the worst intermediate tower, because new player don't have to use it and medic only good in lvl 5 because of the ability

So I was bored grinding molten so I go for a quad and one person left and there me and the other two player I checked their loadout and one person have turret but not FARM and he said that farm is overrated and the either probably forgot or don’t have enough for farm

U can beat hardcore without farm tho
Farm isn't 100% a necessity in every condition, but we have found it super useful in our Duo + Trio Hardcore Triumphs, as it is difficult to gain money in the beginning of Hardcore. It used to be an OVERPOWERED Troop, but was nerfed/reworked for fairness. It still does SUPER well, but it does need help of higher-damage dealing towers to survive game modes. It helps destroy hordes of enemies, and does decent damage at max, as well. But, due to its solo-struggle of high-health enemies, we knocked it to A Tier. Still an amazing tower, and one of my (Seb) favorites!
