- This is my attempt at beating the hardest event mode in Tower Defense Simulator history, in the days following it's release. The Halloween event, Act 3. From insanely difficult, to outright impossible, to being nerfed substantially, this event was wild.

I remember once that just as we defeated the last hand we died so it still counted as a loss because we had to survive for an extra 5 seconds. It was extremely painful and unfortunate.
I remember I had a game where a sock leaked after we killed both hands and it reached the base just when the timer reached 0 and we won💀💀💀

I beat the act when the hat had 1.9k claimed and later got the mask, but man the first few hours were impossible. My team had TG, sled and electro and we just BARELY won

I know right. I've lost several times in this act considering the impossible difficulty to finish it. We were promised to play this act with a new and experimental gamemode, but the devs lied to us. Turns out it was a duck hunt rehash after all.
I can't believe why the devs tend to rehash duck hunt when it comes to event after duck hunt event came out. Sounds like they consider using duck hunt as a rehash priority for future events if they ran out of ideas, like how it ended up with Violent Night event.

Still trying to find something that can fill that emptiness in your heart. You can't find that in this world.. only in Christ, the bible is no chains, it's a chainbreaker. We had very similar act 3 releases. When event dropped I attempted for over 10 hours to win but couldn't and when it finally got nerfed by the time I started playing the hat was already gone.

to everyone who's struggling with the spotlights, its not your cursor that matters, its where the light ends. your cursor might be on the hands, but the light isnt, thats how i beat it at least

They've honestly really messed up everything in Act 3. If they do intend to do something similar with the Christmas events, here's how things should probably go.
Firstly, I've heard about them trying to make Act 3 more difficult with clankers. Look here, people are still going to be able to solo act 3 even if you add lead enemies. Act 3 was definitely a massive loss, but the devs gotta move on from that loss. I'd love to see the new game mode rather than the devs making the event only a bit more difficult.
Moving on, I hope they don't split the event into multiple parts. That clearly didn't work as we've seen with the Lunar Overture event. The "Christmas 2024" event should just be one event that probably goes something like: Cutscene for Krampus's origin---> Survive for 10 waves ---> Cutscene for Frost Spirit's origin & map change ---> Survive for another 10 waves ---> Cutscene explaining why the elves turned evil and another map change ---> Survive for 10 waves ---> Map Change for the final battle ---> Survive the last 10 waves.
Finally, if they DO intend to do acts/nights/whatever it's called, they should most likely do it for the duck events. They'd only need to do 3 of them at most, and that'd be enough to make for a great event.
But, at the end of the day, the whole event was definitely exciting. There was literally little to no marketing for the event, yet player counts SKY-ROCKETED to OVER A HUNDRED THOUSAND!!! That is IMPRESSIVE and just plain EPIC!

I can solo this mode well but no matter what I can’t get the remaining UGCs. Idk why it says no more copies when there are literally still more ugcs left, I’m worried
I am one of the very few people who actually managed to beat the event during the nightmarish update of November 12th, I remember someone in chat started popping off and were like "HOLY CRAP WE BEAT THE EVENT AFTER THEY NERFED IT" to which I replied "Wait they nerfed it?", and a reply from a 3rd teammate "Yeah, they made the spotlights do less damage than they were before", all I simply had to say was "Oh." Basically, it was a shitshow and we lived on like 10 hp
I got videos on channel of me solo act 3 with single tower, however first day of release was the hardest challenge in TDS
I went from a 8Win ratio to 5.5 / 75 loses to 95 and we all had good towers and team making strategy’s
Then I gave up and next day realized it was a solo single tower mode and it kinda sad as with having all towers, all golden, and beating all modes you run out of ideas and challenges so I was looking forward to a challenge

i have a kinda hard challenge for u propellars win fallen solo with army towers only if u don’t know what that means rocketeer millant solider mortar military base and anything themed army do u think u can do it in a video?
What's funny is you had to aim the lights on the ground where the hand is and not where the hands actually are as a model lol
You can beat the event using accelerstor, dj, commander , ranger (spamming lvl 2 rangers) and lastly sledger
If u want solo just use gold solider only

solo just use minigunner (normal) and ace instead of ranger, commander and dj these 4 are enough

i was one of the few people who beat the event in the first hour
the ugc was broken and i didnt get it, went to bed and the next day i had to do stuff so by the time i got home it ran out of tophats

Me and my friends beat this event just before the nerf where you beat this and when we found out it was pretty painful
1:44 lore reason why narrator is trying to kill us, is simple
1 we ruined all his plans before since threat or trick town (he was behind all this mess in previous halloween events and solar eclipse)
2 we don't stick to the script and we are supposed to be dead by now

The reason that sometimes the spotlights didn’t do any damage was because the spotlight only affects the hand if the hand is near that spotlight so it doesn’t matter if you hit it across the map
or shoot somewhere in the sky

The range of the spot light is absolutely pathetic it's between 18-28 range
For being the biggest event it had the rockiest start and just kinda sucks because of how buggy and overly difficult it was, it’s hard to look over the insane difficulty buff, mega nerf, the buff again just makes it kinda annoying and I’m still tryna help a friend beat it because of inconsistent balancing.

The tds devs reactions after adding a boss that can kill towers after their fanbase have been asking for 2 years only for no one to talk about it because the event basically gave people sensory overloads:

i had lost sm times after the boss had died bc those 3 seconds were all it took to lose (i finally survived those 3 seconds and won like 2 days ago)
I was genuinely excited to play this event since it would be my first after I joined in early Spring of this year, after the ‘delay’ and ugc rates however, I was sort of pissed off, but I just said to myself, ‘Well… can’t win ‘em all’. And then act 3 released, and I have never felt such rage in tds ever. I wanted to feel how older players felt during things like the frost invasion or solar eclipse, excited and hopeful for this. But I left with confusion, anger, and eventually all out defeat. Didn’t help that I got gatekept by the game itself to prevent me from claiming anything but the main driving point of the event, the ugcs that became fucking unobtainable after the hat sold out
This feeling of uncontrollable rage and you can’t do anything with it when losing, especially it becomes more stressing if you see ugc amount decreases very fast
@@InsanelyTale-is0 , that's the thing about this though, it's BECAUSE of the fact that I can't claim anything after the hat. Here's what I think, the game doesn't register the fact that I got the hat because it's unobtainable, and thus I can't get anything else since I have to claim the hat first in order to get access to the other ugcs. I am SO fucking pissed right now because of the way this game is screwing me over with how much it absolutely crushed my hopes for actually playing this

btw i was part of the 200 people who beat the event first and 1 person had sledger and i had toxic gunner and we kinda slowed down a lot of crap and so we used that to our advantage and killed all the enemies and chewed down the hands like 100k dps a sec it was crazy and jester is so worth it you can now solo hardcore and push back bosses that have the circut buff like void reaver or polluted monster so grind for it is worth the struggle
BRO SAME! When I beat the event, at the time there was 48k hats in stock. But in my inventory it says content deleted. Kinda mad about it but I can’t do anything about it
I have a strat to solo act 3.
Dj, commander, golden mini, medic, acepilot
1st wave use 1 dj 1 golden mini
Then spam ace pilots
Wave 3 u need 1 commander and level 2 gmini
Max the dj (while upgrading aces and add/upgrade minis)
Make sure to max all ace pilots before wave 9-10
Get maxxed gmini at wave 10 (before boss spawns)
Get more commanders and do coa chain
Get 4 medics max them
Max everything by wave 13
Build barriers at wave 13-14
Spam gold mini and coa. Dont forget to medic
Defend first then use the spot lights
This event was so annoying, me and my friends had a sleepover to try and beat it just for it to be impossible. They didn’t nerf the event until they left😭

I hated this event. I beat the event while the hat ugc was bugged, it was also very difficult. You probably know what happened at this point. I go to school (They fixed the ugc bug the same day) I get back from school and all the hat ugc's were gone. I was devastated :(

I like when he said it took a while for the freeze glitch to be found while the first round I did the guy just spammed em that I was with
u cant deal dmg with the spotlights u have to wait until the hands are infront if it and use it so if the hands are far form the spotlight then u can’t damage it by aiming it
the spotlights literally MELTED the hands, they didn’t even get halfway through the map, plus, the normal enemies got shredded by the accelerators, rangers, and golden soldiers lmao, and it was only my THIRD attempt, with no glitches, and ON THE NERF

the fact both hands are americans inspirations from super smash bros's Master hand & Crazy hand (even the laugh and when they do pistol symbol for stun)
Why does those lights did nothing when far? Cuz the damn spot light have range! Not infinity!!! So the third spot light should aim at mobs to turn em back. Use it if you haven't beat it yet

I spent 15 painful hours every time dying at wave 14 untill I did a random duo match for fun and somehow won while losing every quad match ☠️
we are almost beat it tho, when it wasnt fixed! i even say so, we didn't use freezer (bc it was fixed) and buffed event. we just used ace pilots with support. thats it! 2 hands had 40k health and than we died to spam. but immagine, we almost beat hardest version of event! that was insane... after fixing event, i start hate it, since i spend 7 hours, i was in school, while they make it possible....

Me and my frend got stuck on the sock puppet wave until we remembered sledger, but a few days later of failed attempts we said screw it and looked up a strat and we beat it
gave up after getting to the last wave and not getting close, then when the patch came I beat it 23 times solo for no chance ugcs
When I went to do act3 there was one day left, it was night and I was playing on my phone, I saw a solo strategy when I went to try to win I got to the final round and the spotlight started to bug and spin all over the place and I ended up not winning
unnerf one is kinda ez just spam ace lvl1 at first and it will help you till wave 4 and you got money (duo only)

I really hate this UGC event because I keep getting the narrator's hat when it's out of stock and I never got it the first time because it was already out. And I really want the mask :/
It is so buggy just outside of this, I've lost many times because the spotlights will just flat out not damage the hand when they reach like 50k or less HP and we can put as many spotlights as we want but we still end up losing.
Ngl almost beat it solo well.. I DID beat it but when i killed the boss the enemys were still walking to the cube of death idk what you call it . Then i died cuz the countdown is slow.
