I watched your video. Thanks for sharing. I am trying to start this busines from Nigeria. I bought some porcelain tiles with the plan to strip, wax and burnish according to the video I watched. But, after applying stripper, the surface sheen on the tiles did not remove. I went ahead to apply floor finish polish, but after 4 days I tried washing and the polish all peeled off. Again, I bought paste wax and sealer. I have applied the sealer, but on the attempt to coat floor finish polish on it, the sealer also peeled off. Right now, I have applied sealer and the paste wax. Although I have not burnished it, it shows no sign of sheen, but it's dull and whitish. Please, how can I strip the new porcelain tiles and how do I go about the application of sealer and polish or wax? Thank you in anticipation for your response
Those last pictures on the video are of the floor still wet right after applying the wax. I've taken pics of my floors right after applying the wax and it looks the same, really shiny. You can't fool people by showing those pictures and saying that that is the end result, because once dry, the floor does NOT look that shiny, no matter how many coats you put down.
If you stripped the floor the way its supposed to and the correct wax the floor will look this shiny! Its called the "wet look shine" Maybe you need to try out a different product 🤗
no wet vacumm showing to remove the soultion an excess dirt before waxing the floor? she just go striaght to the waxing an didnt state the drying process after it is vaccumm an didnt say how many coats was applied to floor.
I don't understand why people wax up on their base. The rest of the base is not as shiny as the bottom part. If you take your time to edge everything out it will look so much better.
I get it...you're trying to get business. And the video is probably time lapsed. And to the potential clients - this guy knows the deal!!! In no way am I saying he doesn't know what's going on, I see great technique and know-how here! BUT, I'm 15 years in this business as an owner. First of all, you need at least 5 coats of wax on a gym floor. Secondly, you can't burnish til at least 24 hours after a fresh wax (preferably 48-72 hours). And as it pertains to your stripping process - if you try to strip that much floor at one time by yourself, it's going to dry on you leaving a bigger mess than you started with. I make sure to tell my clients - in a very clear manner - STRIPPING AND WAXING FLOORS TAKES TIME. You can't have foot traffic for at least 2 to 3 days for a successful strip and wax. It's a process, and when done properly - it will add to the life of the flooring, as well as provide a good shine that people like, as well as make it easier to mop, buff, and eventually shine with a high speed burnisher on a regular basis to maintain that shine. From experience, when clients have the wrong impression about the ins and outs of stripping and waxing, it can be a big headache for the janitorial team.

I just started a cleaning business and am thinking of offering this service but i dont know how much to charge per sq ft, what is the recommended charge? and what is the recommended cleaning schedule for retail? I know it might depend on how much traffic the place might get.
I have a Cleaning business and I would like to offer this service but I don't know how much to charge per sq ft? And what is the recommended schedule for retail?

I can strip this in 3 hours and with 5 coats of wax I strip up to 15,000sqft a night of 9 hours not saying it to show off but with a side by side and no scrubber this will take you forever to get done. Nice job but the final shots floor is still wet not fooling me lol.
I wish my bosses would listen to me.. Some idiot took over and change the way my waxing crew waxes and now the floors looks terrible. They don't shine like they use too anymore... There's a reason why we buff/ burnish after the coat..
I don't work for a waxing company, its just part of the maintenance. Though there was this time they'd hired a waxing crew, The workers told me they usually get about 16 an hour though it depends entirely on who makes a contract with them.
Great 👍
Great job wonderful process 🔥🔥🔥

Best wax laying job I've ever seen someone do

Did you do the whole floor at once, or did you let each section dry before going on to the next section?
We did the whole floor at once.
How many layers you did?
What about sealer after he stripp the floor? Then you wax
