Great video as always. FYI: Stopwatch 1 does have a 5 second countdown start function. You have to press the reset button to gain access to it...(-5") will appear in the top display. Once you hit the start button, it will beep the last 3 seconds, then do a longer beep for start. Really cool feature!

Thank you, great video. Exactly what I was looking for...explanation of all the functions on the face of the watch and what they are for. If you wanted to show how to set up watch, you could've been a little clearer, or bit slower, on exactly what buttons (a,b,c,d) your pushing, but otherwise for my purposes it was just what I was looking for. Ty!

I liked the video, I recently bought a G9000, and love it :D You forgot to mention that it has a pre-start function for stopwatch (only for stw1 though). You activate it by going in stw1 mode, press the split/reset button and there appears -5" on upper screen. Once you start the stopwatch it first counts to zero, then automaticaly starts meassuring the time. Very usefull option.

Very good review/tutorial! Perhaps the only thing you didn't mention was the 5 sec countdown in stopwatch1 mode.

My display not showing, what to do?
Its either the battery is dead or the rubber connector between the lcd & circuit board is damaged. These could still be fixed. If the cause is the circuit board itself then the only way to fix is by replacing the whole engine.

Yes it'll only last 6 hours for non-solar powered model to save the battery. You can't change that. Too bad.

I have this watch, fyi... I bought this watch around May 2012 and I still using it until right now i type this comment, never change the battery.... It is so damn tough watch
