hello ash, you are absolutely right, we so overlooked the kits of these champions, so weve decided to buff the bosses that give you the resources to increase their efficacy and have nerfed champions so now the overpowerd legendaries,epics, and rares that held any value after you spent so much procuring now do similar damage, we will be releasing a new champion as the next fusion soon that is not within these boundaries.. almost forot, you champions can get back to where they were prior to the nerf with new accessories we have added in game patch, so ultimately with enough time and money everyone can get back to where they were... keep you posted on future updates :)

If relic keeper can fuse unlimited, I might have one at +10 instead of +4 with 5* soul on him, he could wreak havoc 🤣
I have two +4 Relickeeper and use none! He sucks real bad!
Even the requirements to fuse him just to get 250 champ chase points are ridiculously bad!

Tolf can solo Shogun because his attacks also can't weak hit. It's his only use, but that's given him a place in the game now. Plarium does need to update his tool tips though.

@ Single champ investment, and the ability to run with food. If I only need to build 1 champ, it's a lot less gear, and if I can run food, it's double dipping with energy. It's not fast, but with super raids and running it overnight, it's not the worst use of energy.

reinbeast just helped me finish off faction wars. i just needed the last 2 stars in skinwalkers. he's only lvl 50, and i put him in regen/immortal to get it done.

psst his "weak revive" ability actually has a Godlike multiplier, don't tell Ash. The problem is you build him for HP to make his heals awesome, if you built him as a defensive nuker that revive procs all the time... but then his healing is rubbish.
@@Lones555 i built him for healing because i had the hippo for revives. also in regen immortal. my problem was survivability on everyone except wukong, who was doing all the damage. reinbeasts healing meant the hippo had to revive less often, which did the trick.

Relic keeper works great for very early bronze arena, he's fun to watch, but as soon as he can't smack them down he becomes irrelevant. At least Bushi hits stupidly hard, but even he only does it if you build him for that guaranteed crit, and then he's useless. Good fun though.
... We need top 10 NERFED champs. I had no idea that reinbeast was nerfed, and now I wanna know how he used to work. I knew he used to be good, but never built him so I thought it was just general powercreep

I hate relickeeper, but about a week ago I got absolutely wrecked by one in classic arena. Not sure how
Way back in early 2020 when I started my first epic was Warden, and I sadly built him to 60 based on the good reviews he had at the time...
My 50 bucks man is 1st on a list! Yaaay. (for those who don't know Plarium actually sold Hordin for $50 back in 2020).

You were right, Ash. Strongly disagree on Relickeeper. He is a great early game epic with comprehensive and easy-to-tune mechanics. Pros: you can get fully skilled +4 RK using zero tomes. I built him in lifesteal with 100% critrate and crit damage priority. He is my go last champion (after Magnarr), so he kills off all the survivers. He is a one-trick pony, but consistant damage dealing is the key. He is self-sufficient (self-buffs, self-heals esp in lifesteal), so can operate with any team. I used him a lot in early/midgame and he still makes it into my Doomtower (normal) and even Arena Platinum due to the damage reliability and self-sufficiency. Definitely one of my favourites.
Sounds like a lot of effort just to get him to be almost mediocre
@@peanutbutter4166The good thing about Relickeeper is that he’s so easy to use. You build him to +4 with trash. I think that most will drop him mid game though.
@@gentblue Yeah but I’d recommend using the relic keeper copies to fill in faction guardians for early game. No early game player will benefit from investing in making that many relic keepers to plus 4 and skill up, instead of just focusing on other better options they’ll probably get from shards.
Agree! He is not trash! He is very good for Sintranos hard double boss 15.
Relickeepers will save your life one day!

RelicKeeper used to whoop me in arenas early on, i refused to fuse him out of spite for so long, gave in and then never leveled past 40

Why did they make ursine ice crusher look like a freeze champ and not have freeze in his skills. I pulled him and was like "looks like a good freeze champ maybe." No maybe. Even if you build him in frost/frostbite, you might as well just use an actual freeze champ. Some of these champs we wouldn't talk crap about if they were rares, but as epics we want more bang for our buck.
Tolf is actually great for Phantom Shogun. Have him 5 star awakened & he is clutch in keeping the shoguns "destroy everything" meter down. Like Gnarlhorn, his A1 can't weak hit (it's worded weird in his kit). So he's a staple in my Shogun team. Don't really use him anywhere else though.
Ripper has a niche as a Scarab Boss specialist these days. High resist and destroy set and he can be useful. There are better champions to get the scarab boss' shield down, but if you're short on legendary books he's a good epic alternative.
Haha, it might sound silly but yeah, Relic Keeper is still used by some people as their campaign farmer, just hitting them with A1's and getting an extra turn over and over. Not the fastest clear, but reliable if you have decent gear. I used my starter until I got Skullcrown as a campaign farmer, but I remember videos about using Relic Keeper as a campaign farmer from back in the day.
You are quite correct, there is a lore story about the bear brothers. Leilafox has it on her channel, though I forget exactly where the story was posted originally.
No comments on Warden. He's a relic from a bygone era, and he wasn't even good back then.

No one rants better than Ash. Every time I pull a Warden now Ash's voice will pop into my head comparing him to Harrier. It's pretty bad when you can get Ash's dander up as much as Harrier.

Relickeeper isn't amazing, but after being forced to fuse him and using him for progression as my first Campaign farmer, I was able to get some use out of him against the Griffon for a while as well. Can't defend the power creep against him, though. And yeah, I have him at +4 thanks to using dupes of him for Champion Chase and CvC points.
The craziest thing about the doom tower champion krakorth is even if u do every secret room right from the beginning it will take you just short of 27 months to get her. Over 2 years even if u never missed a room
If i had to guess... relickeeper is a good clean up champ.... for progression in campaign xD... first your 3 nukers go.. and if there is someone still standing his a1 could potentially kill them? But not on the boss stages xD
Yeah, but you can farm Relickeeper for faction guardians. You can also farm doubles to make a +4 Relickeeper. I saw another cc use him to beat Dark Fae. His kill shot allowed him to take out the doubles quickly. I'm surprised you left out Drake, who is very similar to Hordin. I've heard people talk about an older lore story for Ursine Ironhide (before COTA) where he was the only good Skinwalker or something.

Hordin can have buffs on some of his hits. Relickeeper can maintain +50 indefinitely when booked. Drake is just weak once his A3 is used.

I use my fully ascended Tolf in a 6x immortal and bloodshield ring to farm Shogun 25. He does excellent there because he cannot weak hit.
a +4 empowered Relic Keeper can solo some DT easy bosses, and can help a lot in FW and some waves. Because of his passive does not even need regeneration gear. Nourish blessing will suffice. Will get better options in mid game, but given the fact that he is easy to get and enough copies to get him to plus 4, fully book him, and filling your epic faction guardians' slots while getting champ chase points, I would recommend him to newer players. I get it that his usefulness declines in late game, but there are worse epics out there.

i think the thing about hordin and relic keeper is because of their a1, it makes manualling a stage a bit more fun. it's just satisfying whatching enemies go down 1 by 1. not efficient, but fun if you have the time.
When i first played the game, a LONG time ago...
I remember seeing teams in arena having Khatun (The barbarian speed lead?) Relic Keeper, Jizoh, and Apthocary.
I just remember being unable to kill that team and RK being able to clean your team.
HEY ASH , WHILE I LIKE YOUR POINTS , IN RESPECTFUL WAY I HAVE TO DISAGREE WITH YOU ON SOME OF THEM , WE FORGET THAT WHEN YOU GOT STACKED ACCOUNT WEAKER CHAMPS WILL LOOK LIKE STRAIGHT UP TRASH , BUT SOMETIMES YOU JUST HAVE TO WORK WITH WHAT YOU GOT , AND SOMETIMES THESE "TRASH" CHAMPS CAN EITHER SURPRISE OR AT VERY LEAST SHIFT YOUR PERCEPTION ON THEM. I'VE BEEN PLAYING RAID FOR 5 YEARS SO I HOPE YOU AT LEAST TAKE THIS IN CONSIDERATION ON SOME OF MY TAKES FROM YOUR LIST.
1. Hard disagree with Mr. 50$ (tell me if you don't get it) aka *Hordin* . While I can see why you think he's bad , and I did also until I pulled 6star soul. So I decided to build him for Cursed city and he actually was the key champ for that one room I couldn't clear. Build him with 70% crit rate , push as much dmg stats as you can with healthy amount of speed, completely ignore that acc even tho he can place dec atk , in fact never use that a2. And just keep smacking everyone one by one . Crushing rend makes a lot of difference on him.
2. While Reindeer long ago fallen from Glory he's still a viable option for Factions wars just for his a1 . Back In a day I was able to clear FW with two lvl 50 Reindeers as my tank healers. It's still a viable strat. Most Ideal is to build them In Relentless + retaliation and revenge accesories . And you don't need any masteries for it to work. And afterwards when your account gets better champs for that Faction you just use em as rank 5 chickens .
3. While Atur is very Niche but he's damn good at was he does , which is being a Magma Dragon provoker . Simple as that . If you got no Warchief or Angar or any other stronger provoker he's a very solid budget option which same way as Reinder can be at lvl 50
id like to give an honorable mention that would be a huge benefit to everyone mainly new players......shaman....shes a free champ early on and these days they even give you her 5 star soul....but like what am i gonna use her for...she has an ok revive ig but like please make here worth using as a crucial early game support...
Relic Keeper can be fun in 3v3 arena and possibly live arena because he is often overlooked but he can sweep through a team with a mix of Cruel and Merciless gear, which combined with the cats gaze relic means he ignores 50% def each hit. Also easy to get to 4* empowerment and if you can get a 4* or higher soul for him even better.
Attacks all enemies 1 time.... It's like Plarium forcefully reminds this hero to do it but only once, like he was about to do it two or three times.😂

I will not say Hordin is good but, he will always have a special place in my heart. Vrask and him were my campaign farmers all the way through Brutal. Grew to love him while my account was at its worst state.

Great video… I am so torn, I keep grinding relic keepers, I now have a +4 (still 4 star) and 5 star blessing. Keep thinking I should at least rank him to level 50.

Every champion i don't use anywhere gets a 1 rating across the board.
I pulled hordin early and for new players I can see the trap,I put him in relentless and he does well in the early stages but it dosen't take long to see him become weak

Laughed so much at your warden review that I am in tears! The extra turn champs are great in newbie arena before everyone gets shields and block damage; and they laugh at provokers but they enter the vault at some point. Drake is easily the worst ET attack despite his A3.

Nobody else also acknowledges this about Tolf (still), but his passive is capable of halving everyone's shields per turn. This outta be acknowledged especially up to nowadays with all of the new champs who are reliant on shields.
Yeah, I'm aware that stoneskin and protection set wearers also exist and I'm saying those are beside the point.
i had an old account i lost access to years ago so i had to restart but i remember ever so SLOWLY clearing skinwalkers crypts with 3 freakaen rein beasts, ended up with a whole slew of them somehow

There's no excuse or any reason that they couldn't buff 10 champions a month. Even if they don't want to change any kits they could simply double the multipliers for all bad epic and legendaries. Something more than 2 champs every month.
Ursine Icecrusher is one of my favourite looking Epics, pity he isn't worth building
There is a lot of refuse in the magic epic section of the Knight revenants.
Krakarth's shield & strengthen can be used to get past this rotation's double boss Eternal dragon + FK in Cursed City if you don't have Delaaja... 🤷♀️
I will soon have more than enough Relickeepers to empower and still fill out the faction guardian slots. Is that worth doing? Feels wastefull to use as chickens.
I almost forgot Blind Seer isn't an epic. Was gonna ask where she was on this list. She's the worst unit in the game, just because of how many better replacements there are for her while she's a void lego and her replacements are regular legendaries and even a bunch of epics.
Reinbeast, for me at least, I cannot complete stage 21 in faction wars without him and I still need him for scarab king in one of the cursed city areas. Have considered rank 6 for him because he seems like a Furystoker (rare) from the Ogryn tribe where I could not get past stage 14 at all until I put the only one left on the team up to rank 6 and I still need him for stage 21.
I pulled Tolf on my alt account yesterday and I look at his ratings and I'm like... I guess I'll level him up for faction wars, because he's good there, but the rest is meh. I just found a level 50 Hordin on the account I'm currently borrowing, I'm not sure what the thinking process was there, but he is a faction guardian and in the vault forever, at least until buffed up. I found a level 40 reinbeast, at least he can be a 5* chicken soon.

My biggest gripe has always been that duelists are borderline useless. Almost every single one has been power-crept out by AoE champs with better multipliers.
Chimera seems to be designed to make duellists useful again.

Relickkeeper is the easiest epic you can take to +4 empowerment. Build him in 9pc Merciless or 6 pc merciless +Cruel and he hits like a truck (you can pump him up to 6K+ attack easilly). With his extra turn mechanic he can basically solo FW, some stages in Cursed city
There are some new Epics that stink: Signy of Highshield, absolutely terrible. And she was a Fusion Epic.

I've been playing since before Covid, and I have picked up a number of these epically bad Epics. Luckily, the only one that I built up and used was Ursine Icecrusher. (Yes... he's completely booked!) My only defense is that, in the early days, I didn't have much, so I had to use him. He IS tough to kill, as I recall--I haven't used him in years now. I wouldn't have put him as low as you did--I think he has more utility than Relickeeper, for example, But yeah, he's not active for me anymore.
When I started out I invested heavily in Yaga because I thought he looked like he was really good. And I´m talking legendary tomes and everything. I thought that legendary tomes gave them more power for their skills than an epic one. (That´s so embarrassing to admit if I´m honest😂). I had no idea what I was doing, I mean I still don´t, but knowing a bit more this is as bad of a start you can have I think.

11:55 Yep. Thats where 99% of people have been using him since day 1. Before we get Fellhound or Bellower. He was my Campaign farmer for about 2 years.
He was about a 20 second farm on 12-3 Brutal.
I couldnt use Kael. I had him tuned for my unkillable CB team. He'd die on the first wave in Brutal.

4:55 Reinbeast should not be on this list he's an amazing healer and for many years he was the ONLY viable faction wars healer skinwalkers had, his revive on kill ability actually has a "Godlike" multiplier, the reason nobody ever builds him for damage is because stacking HP is the best way to go on him. If you did build him as a defensive nuker that ability actually slaps (but then he's not a very good healer if you build him for def).

Why people like hordin/drake/relickeeper is their a1…. If you build them strong enough to kill with the a1, they are nearly unstoppable if you turn off that a2.. when hordin was free that one time way back when, people found and built him then…. When the dungeons maxed at normal 20…. You can easily build him to be wildly powerful for lower stage dungeons, and that’s what his fan club remembers

there aren't any common/uncommon champs worth building. They aren't used at all nor are they needed for anything, waste of ressources.

@@conwarlock3537 Shieldguard is a mid DPS that really shouldn't be used, armiger on the other hand is an uncommon with 30% dec tm on his a1 and emhp hit with a block revive, very useful for early game doomtower bosses like dark fae & frost spider while also being able to be used in fire knight and the spider dungeon
@@jammam772 frostspider is the legit use ever, but only if you haven't pulled any other random hp burner or block revive... And even then, only 40 so you can feed him later.

Only champion missing was ultimate Galek! Though, I might just be salty, as I 6 starred him like the week before Artak was announced. I will say more seriously, I think vildrax belongs on the list for his noodle arms and no damage
Ultimate galek is pretty good for damage and can place burn
