I love the multicolor pens since they’re so efficient, but I found out that the ink runs out faster, which was very sad. I use the Pilot Frixion Ball .5 in my budget planner, perfect for that!

Oh man. I have been in a pen dilemma. I think I need inkwell and Nanc to test all my pens in my Amazon cart and jet pens cart. Lol

You are using the pelikan pirat in the wrong way. You have to use gel refillable pens, for example pelikans, online, schneider and then cancel them with the pelikan pirat eraser. Then you can rewrite on the cancelled area with the bue part of the pelikan pirat. It works great!!

I agree, I don't like frixion multi-color choices, but I switched out the colors on my 4 color pen to be what I want, so black is purple, red is orange, etc. I wish they would make a 5 color coleto option but for frixion.

So I just ordered and received a Pilot FriXion Slim ballpoint pens set of 3 on Amazon with refills. None worked, thanks to summer heat. After freezer and oiled nub therapies, two pens kinda sorta faintly work, though still scratchy. One still won't work, and neither do the refills. I also ordered 3 of the pink 4 color FriXion ballpoint pens. One pen was missing from the order entirely, and the others also didn't work, but seem to be doing okay now following freezer/oil therapies. Moral of this story is buy in winter instead of summer when you live in the southwest desert!
PS I usually use FriXion 7 clicker pens. Love em with new ink but not when ink is lower, as the ink gets gets quite light. Wanted to try it the .038 Slims. 7s and Medium point are the way to go for me, but maybe that's because I have big writing and I'm left-handed.

@@laureldenise Unfortunately not. I am going to have to replace them. Walmart carries them so I can buy locally, what I should have done in the first place. But hey it's life in the desert. As long as I have AC, life is still good, lol.
