We need more Shows like Doc Martin! Just the right mix of everything! So sad this will be their last Season. Thank you so much for giving us One more Season. A Truly Cherished Series.

Too true! 😲😲 The rest of the cast look pretty much unchanged too, but Caroline is on another level of timelessness.
Because she's a true classic beauty and an amazing actress.

As a Doc whose name is "Martin", this was always very close to my heart. I love the show and have not missed an episode. Martin Clunes is a master of his art and I wish him well whatever his next adventure might be.
Omg! I love this show so much, hate to see it come to an end. I brought Seasons 1-9 & enjoy having my own Doc marathon weekend w/ snacks.🍿🍕🥤 I wish everyone the best, looking forward to Season 10.

Incredible series from beginning to end & what a gift to us all 💝. Mind boggling to me when I see these clips of what it takes to get a scene done…and the throngs of people involved…how in the world can they concentrate on their lines & what they’re supposed to do & say? 👏👏👏BRAVO to all of them. This is the only series I have watched over & over & over & am still not tired of it….

@@michaelharrison1867 it’s not the same kind of feeling. House is more of a spin-off of Sherlock Holmes where things are mostly high tension life threatening situations. The show Doc Martin is a bit more laid back and is not a mystery show.

Aaaaaaaargh. How can there be life without this precious part of my fantasy world?
So even thou he's no longer a practicing doctor he's still wearing his suit and tie, wish we could see him dress casually for a change. Looking forward to watching the last series, shame thou have really enjoyed it.
I think it would have been a bit more imaginative, refreshing and dynamic to see a more casual relaxed character in the first episode working up to the Doc again as the episodes roll on.

I can't wait! And yet I can because I dread that it's the last one! Caroline C. looks the same age as when it started, and really Martin does too!
Caroline is a really lovely woman. I have loads of photos of her and of the rest of the cast and the village and will be doing a slideshow to post here . All the cast were lovely people but Caroline really stands out as fun, friendly, warm and kind.

I'd love to see Martin Clunes and Neil Morrissey in a version of "Men behaving (slightly) Better!" as a continuation of their initial show. It was brilliant!

I love this show. I have been a fan of Caroline Catz since I saw her in 'All quiet on the Preston front' around 30 years ago. She seems such a nice person.

I have mixed feelings about this... on the one hand, I am really looking forward to this. But, on the other, knowing this is the last season to watch, it makes me feel a bit sad...

Isn't it amazing how many crowds of tech people are involved in any scene, yet when we see the final product, it's as if there were just the actors and one cameraman involved! Love this show, love all the characters and am really going to miss them all. The last 2 episodes of S10 were very poignant and touching, and the Christmas special was the 'Santa' on the proverbial Christmas cake.

Germany startet late with "Doc Martin", in 2016. We had a german version from 2006 to 2009: "Doktor Martin". But the original series is so much better.
It must have been ruined and awful. The original is pure gold.

Martin Barre , formerly of Jethro Tull and now with his own group , has a house in the area . I would like to see him in an episode . Perhaps they could have him wake up the neighborhood at 6 AM with some scorching guitar ! " Hey mate , heading out on tour , just getting some practice time " !

It was one of the few good newly made shows that was worth watching! And of course, it wasn't made in America. I know so so many of us Americans who crave such good series. Sadly, most media from the U.S. is pure propaganda garbage these days!

Found this great show by mistake. I was surfing through the waste land of American television. No acting. No script. Actors who can't speak. Etc... And if you are over 35 forget it. Hollywood doesnt want any experience around. This show mixes old and young along with character development.. Yes Doc Martin is a weird duck, but the character and multi stoy lines are top notch. Hollywood has lost its way. Nothing but political garbage. Doc Martin ream. You folks know how do your craft. We need a British Movie Invasion! You folks have wit. Hollywood is a collection of knuckle dragging grunts.

They have had enough. They have been doing it for 20 years!
The crew are invisible when on tv
The field of view is cleared when filming. There are people behind walls, in passages and to both sides of the camera everytime you see any shots outdoors.
Sad to say but I lost interest in the show several years ago because of the disruption in programming. You can't walk away from a series for an entire year here and there and expect to keep an audience.
The disruption was due to the pandemic and other work commitments of the actors, but 10 series in 20 years is pretty good
@@johnparton2209 The series had years of interruptions LONG before the pandemic. Martin Clunes and his wife CHOSE to take time off to do documentaries about dogs and Nomads and British Isles etc. I don't know about Britain but here in Canada if you have a hit show you keep it going until it isn't picked up for a renewal. Our Murdoch Mysteries is in its 16th season in 16 years with NO YEARS MISSED.

We visited Port Isaac last year, the place is just as beautiful as it is shown in Doc Martin, shame the series is coming to an end.😔
I will never tire of this amazing series. I always wonder if Martin Clunes a bit guilty when he has to dislike the dogs, because in real life, he absolutely adores them!
@LudVan 78 I've noticed that in season 10, he has, like you said, mellowed a bit, not so brusque with the patients and people. I guess he's become Portwenised lol
@LudVan 78 I'm always amazed at the Big Clunester. Sometimes I watch Doc Martin and he's, well, you know LOL. Then I watch Men Behaving Badly, and he is a completely different person. Typical 90s lager swilling, sexist bloke.
@LudVan 78 You really should Google his films. I saw A Is For Acid. Staggered. Hunting Venus. He's great in all three. There is also a short TV series called Warren. He plays a driving instructor.
@LudVan 79 Yes, we all noticed how mellow he is in S10 - he's so agreeable to everything Louisa says and does, which is very different to how he usually is. Maybe having two kids and a maturing family is changing his ways.

@@NeathSpadge I don’t. I think it was kind of sleazy for them to promote the hell out of season 9 saying it was the last season and then decide to make an entirely new 10th season. I’d understand a movie or waiting a few years and doing a revival series but this was unexpected.
I know it sounds stupid because I’m enjoying the season, but something’s wrong about it. When I saw it on my Acorn TV feed I thought it was a staff recommendation, but when it said “New series”, I was like “Really!!!”.
@freebeerfordworkers I’ve enjoyed this last season but I really hope it’s the end. Here in America they have showed the second to last episode, with the finale being on Christmas. It seemed like it was heading for full circle ending but then they changed it again and now we’ll see how it ends up on Christmas. That’s frustrating. I liked where the ending was going and now a possible change.
