I just absolutely love Doc Martin. I watch it every night before I go to sleep. It relaxes me. After I finish the last episode of Season 9, I start it all over again. It's like listening to beautiful music or enjoying a beautiful painting. I never get enough nor get tired of it. I love Portwenn (Port Isaac), I love the characters, the writing and the wonderful balance of comedy, drama, and love. But especially I love Martin Clunes. He is a master of his craft. He has such kind eyes. The shift in his demeanor when he speaks to Louisa is very subtle, very gentle and loving. I can't say enough good about this show. All the characters are very dear to me. Visiting Port Isaac is on my bucket list.
Sabina, i visited Port Isaac just after they finished series 10. You must go there it's beautiful. Docs house was a holiday home recently but is now up for sale.

There is something about doc Martin that has me watching each episode over and over. My very favorite episode is their marriage night when they were left off at the cottage without their suitcase. Dr Martin as a Dr was amazingly knowledgeable. The writers had to have doctors review their script.
From Michigan, and have watched every episode. This show is outstanding, from the writing to the acting. They could not have found better actors for these parts.

Like you I will be sad when the last episode comes out this week. However there is a Christmas special coming up but nobody knows yet what it will be about. I wonder if it will continue the story or it will be just a special unrelated episode. But I can start again with Season 1 Episode 1.
Well, it's now December 23, 2022 and season 10 has all aired except the Christmas special which is coming Christmas Day! So we now know after watching season 10, that all is fine, the Doc had a revelation, realized Portwenn had given him everything since his time there as a child, and it's where he wants to be, I knew he wouldn't leave! So all is forever fine with the the Doc, Louisa and all the townspeople of Portwenn, they will live happily in eternity for all us to continue watching and loving forever! Love from New York
I started watching Doc Martin in Scotland one year, visiting my ex's parents. We binged seasons in Louisiana and Shanghai, then Mississippi, and now I guess I'm catching the final season from somewhere in Michigan. I feel like Doc Martin and its characters have 'grown up'/travelled the world with me. It's like losing touch with familiar friends... but I'm glad to have known them--they've brightened many days. :)
How I love the cast of Doc Martin. They all fit in together....hence the superb entertaiting show to look forward on a TV night....talking about the reality in life in a community..it's a good laugh. A true classic show. My great granddaughter and I watch it together. She loves Doc Martin. She had not watched it for a while but came to visit me and started watching it with me, as we had done since she was 10. She blushed when she saw Doc Martin on the plane in that first episode. Pluto, I watch on Roku, also shows all the Doc Martin episodes through season 6, it's a great station and is free. Runs many Doc episodes on Pluto live tv daily start around 1 pm on their British Drama Station, then they run it at night also starting at 9 pm I believe. Pluto has the Doc "on demand" there also, so you can pull up any episode you want. I got Acorn too just to watch season 10, and the Christmas day special is coming up in 2 days! Watching the series on Tubi. I LOVE Tubi. I love that they tell you when a break is coming and how many commercials are going to be shown. We have found Tubi is great for quite a few British shows, even though we have BritBox and PBS. When these shows were first started we could only get them on PBS. I traveled on business and rarely watched TV then. Now on Tubi we can watch the episodes in order. Lovely. Expecially appreciate that this show includes such a variety of characters.

The public, near and far, keep begging, pleading for More. Everyone would be happy with non-stop forevermore, Doc Martin and cast!! It’s unthinkable to put this masterpiece to its final rest. Unreasonable decision. Busting everyone’s anticipation for the next episode. To put a fast sledgehammer to our best sought after pleasurable program, leaving us with nothing to look forward to in the village we have come to adore. It’s as if you took the life preserver right from under us, and left us floating on an empty island of “what use to be.” Indeed, very heartbreaking. Selina Cadell is probably the most talented of the entire cast, every role she has ever played was top notch. I never looked her details up so finding out she's had such an amazing family life makes me happy. John Marquez I think for me as well as Selina (Mrs Tishell and PC Penhale) are my favorite characters.
Martin Clunes is the most talented of the entire cast, it wouldn't have even made it as a show without him and actually all of them step up to the plate and play off of each other wonderfully, if they ALL weren't great, the show wouldn't work. Characters Mrs. Tishell, PC Penhale along with Bert Large are the three most annoying and irritating, ha ha, but that's what makes them great! From NYC
Watched the first tv series of All Creatures Great and Small. Nothing can ever top those actors and their love of the Dales. Saw a picture of actress playing Helene-with a group picture and I noticed how far apart her body was with James. Not a very good sign! Read the books in the 70’which tore at my heart.❤❤

Selina Cadell is probably the most talented of the entire cast, every role she has ever played was top notch. I never looked her details up so finding out she's had such an amazing family life makes me happy. John Marquez I think for me as well as Selina (Mrs Tishell and PC Penhale) are my favorite characters.
Martin Clunes is the most talented of the entire cast, it wouldn't have even made it as a show without him and actually all of them step up to the plate and play off of each other wonderfully, if they ALL weren't great, the show wouldn't work. Characters Mrs. Tishell, PC Penhale along with Bert Large are the three most annoying and irritating, ha ha, but that's what makes them great! From NYC

Saw a picture of actress playing Helene-with a group picture and I noticed how far apart her body was with James. Not a very good sign! Read the books in the 70’which tore at my heart.❤❤

Nothing makes me smile anymore ...except DOC MARTIN ...Martin Clunes and Caroline Cats Caplan are wonderful playing off each other, but casting director Carrie Hilton did a wonderful job casting everyone in Doc Martin ... The stories of Doc Martin are wonderful ... and the characters make me feel like H.O.M.E ...Berkshire ...question: was the Weybridge Doc Martin keeps threatening his patients to go to for a GP the Weybridge Surrey ? ...MAKES ME LAUGH IMMENSELY TILL MY CHEEKS AND SIDES HURT ...WEYBRIDGE WOULD BE 6-8HOURS FROM PORT ISAAC AKA PORT WENN 😂😂😂 When things get real bad in the news...lockdowns...martial law...CCP Communist government ...I watch Doc Martin for a bit of sanity ...
