Well publicly anyway.....Martin was caught in "compromising circumstances" with Caroline Catz early in the series.....who has a thing about the Doc's ears.....they were interrupted while engaged in "vigorous union "....This event later had the film crew singing "Martin Clunes Martin Clunes Martin Clunes " down at the pub. (See Y.T. for Martin Clunes 🎵 song).
One of my favourites from the show is Mrs. Tishel. She plays her character so brilliantly with her melodramatic expressions and the way she delivers her lines so musically and the way she shows and hides her unconditional love and obsession for the doc, she is a gem of an actor!
She is fantastic. PC Penhale is also excellent but I get soooooo irritated with him. I wonder if Mrs Tishell is going to go completely off her rocker now that Louisa is pregnant again?
Awesome show ! No nudity or cussing. Mostly innocent. Caroline Catz continues looking beautiful. Poor interview. The hosts chat with each other too much.

I was a late comer to this series, thought it was telly for old people. Now I'm ploughing my way through the 8 previous series! The pre TV films are worth watching too, although somewhat different!
It's just the formula the show employs, and it keeps the viewer there for the entire hour (they hope). Other shows do things differently but that's the way The One Show does things: mixing content in as if it's all part of a 'kitchen table' chat. I take what they give (since so many give nothing :) )

Can I just explain to people in America and abroad that the 'One Show' is a half hour magazine programme and they talk about everything and anything. Every day they have guests on to basically promote their new show and to join in anything being covered on the show, so the hosts are not being rude they have got a lot to get through in the short time. PS I love Doc Martin too.
You'll miss him when he's gone you know. I would carry on making this top TV show as long as possible. Love him, the cast and special guests. Surely the best TV character. I can't praise Martin Clunes enough.

I L--O--O--OVE this show. The acting feels so natural that I often forget they are acting. Only with the chagrin when the show ends that I bash the show that they are all acting. But I would watch it everyday of my life. I wish they were of a diverse cast, though. Great stories each week, bravo cast!!
I'm watching a lot of Doc Martin videos on my PBS while I do my daily treadmill walk (only way I can get through it). I'm up to series 8 or so, and by far, Alfie was the best. I kept thinking - how did they FIND this kid - he's so perfect for the part! Thanks for sharing this.
Wonderful to see them outside the show, so not in their respective characters...I've watched the show when we had cable, what? His character, as Doc, is hilarious along with the pharmacist whom I've seen in other shows where she was equally great!

They were scheduled to begin S10 filming last month but due to the lockdown in the UK, they didn't. I'm told by some locals in Cornwall that they will probably delay until Spring of 2022. We'll have to wait and see as no official announcement has been made yet.

One of my favorite medical shows!! St. Elsewhere and the 1st three seasons of MASH the other two. The chemistry between Clunes and Catz was unplanned and unintentional but fantastic!!

But I have a question that has always been killing me, I am from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and our programs differ from yours in Great Britain regarding Netflix. When I opened the series, the eighth and ninth parts came out for me !!! So where is the rest of the previous 😠😠.
@@matarahmadal_atif9359 I'm in the USA and Netflix here doesn't offer Doc Martin anymore. We have to subscribe to Acorn TV, either directly, or as a subscription through Amazon Prime Videos. All the series/seasons are available at Acorn TV but I don't know if Acorn TV is available to those in the KSA.
