I actually like Ronno. He is what made this movie quite "manly" lol. The original Bambi was like a toddler's show and it felt like a relief when Ronno showed up.
I wouldn't call the first Bambi a toddler film, it's pretty damn dark and ambient in areas, though I do think Ronno is key. Prior to this the only threats to the animals' innocent existance were Man and natural forces, outsiders. Ronno was a reveal to Bambi that even the forest had some unpleasant aspects. He starts off just a comic relief bully, but things get worse from there on.
The 1st movie was more of a "finding yourself" story, whereas the sequel "Midquel" was a "coming of age" story. They both tie into each other really well, and the 2nd movie really helps alleviate the somewhat lacking character of the Great Prince of the Forest (bambi's father) who only appears fleetingly in the 1st movie but is critical to the story.
How could ronno be so deaf faline said unbelievable in a sarcastic but politely way Bambi said unbelievable in an excitement so why like faline and hate Bambi
He must have practiced sparring against a boulder one too many times. His antlers came in early, but i guess his skull didn't finish yet and his brain got too dense instead...
