I will tell you guys, they REALLY did Rahne wrong in this film. She is a full-blown werewolf, not just a shapeshifter who turns into a wolf. I can't imagine what their budget would have done if they'd tried to do that, but I can tell you it would have been so much cooler in fight scenes to have a werewolf stalking through the halls instead of dog/wolf deal. And yes, the (real or not) Native American proverb is about two wolves. They wanted to tie that into the Demon Bear showing up. From the first time I heard that in (I think) the second trailer, I actually paused the trailer and said "what the hell is that about??"
I think Logan actually takes place in the new timeline, a few years after Days of Future Past. The story with the clone (X-24) actually starts with the post-credits scene in X-Men: Apocalypse (which is in the new timeline). But.....the continuity of these movies never actually works. They were able to screw things up again with Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix, the cameo scene in Deadpool 2 and that scene from New Mutants.
I didn’t think that Logan was in the X3 universe? Because they fixed the past in days of future past overwriting X3, only to screw everything up again this time do to Xavier’s Dementia. Because apparently even after the reformation Sansa grew up to become Famke.

Man, the bar was set so low from Fox and their X-Men movies that I actually liked the movie. lol It's not spectacular by any means. But I enjoyed what it was. They didn't shoe horn Wolverine in it somehow. X-Men and Essex corp were just name dropped and shoved in. The characters could have been fleshed out better and quicker. But it is what it is. lol The Fox ruining X-Men era is over.
For whatever reason, it seems that, in the movie’s reality, Magik cannot teleport through Dr. Reyes’ bubble-shields. It feels like a rule the film never explained but I’m assuming that’s the case. Sloppy storytelling
