Pikmin 3’s Finale was also pretty good. The build up to Plasm Wraith is epic as you are being chased by a giant horror, but then you need to face the same horror in the final boss. Such a shame he can be beaten to a pulp by the Rock Pikmin.
I really liked the finale of Horizon : Zero Dawn it felt very epic and urgent as if the game is saying : " the world is collapsing do something hero. "
First off I just gotta say I watched your top 15 final bosses and I was in love with your channel. Mainly because of the same video game tastes and mainly just fps games that everyone plays so I just wanna say that I am now a fan. Second, (me being very attached) I am now a double fan with the mention of chugga.
My favorite finales are Yakuza 0 'cause the final level is really good and has two segments one where you're playing as Kazuma (who's fighting Keiji Shibusawa) and the other you're Goro(who's fighting Lao Gui) and the ending was really good and Goro was really hilarious when him and Kazuma finally meet, Tales of Zestiria 'cause I really enjoyed the final boss, Heldalf and the ending had Sorey resting for many years and after the credits Mikleo's exploring ruins and he falls and Sorey saves him and Mikleo's really glad to see him again, Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess 'cause Hyrule Castle was a really good final level and every phase of Ganondorf is really epic to fight against and the ending was also really good, and finally Megadimension Neptunia VII(Victory 2) you first have an epic fight against Dark Orange(Evil Uzume or Kurome) and then Zero and Heart dimension and Uzume disappear Nepgear and Neptune are really sad to say goodbye to Uzume and Uzume gives Nepgear her visual radio and Nepgear, Neptune and the others leave when they return to Hyperdimension Histoire does say that there is a way to bring back Uzume and it requires putting the visual radio on the console and there's one last battle between Uzume and her evil self and Uzume returns and Nepgear and Neptune are really glad to see her again.
Some finales I really like... Sonic Unleashed(Wii only): Great Final boss, Good final level in Eggmanland, great penultimate boss in Egg Dragoon, godly music, and a really heartwarming ending to my favorite Sonic game. I say Wii only because the HD Dark Gaea sucks. Mario Galaxy: While I prefer the sequel, Galaxy 1 had a much better ending. Hope Odyssey can top it. Kingdom Hearts 2: This is how you do it, Re:Coded. F**k that game Breath of the Wild: While the boss itself may not be the most challenging thing ever depending on equipment, the epic climb up the castle and climactic showdown feel was great. Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon: I can't say anything about the older games, but this finale made me both pumped and made me cry at the same time. I love it. None of the other Pokemon finales made me feel so many emotions.
One of my favorite finales is in System Shock 2. Unlike in Bioshock, main villain isn't revealed until the third act. At least in my opinion; I still consider Andrew Ryan the main villain. And yeah, people who have played System Shock 1 will know that SHODAN can be pretty ruthless, but she hadn't been heard from for most of the sequel. Where the hell was she? But it turns out SHODAN was your mission control all along, having taken on the late Polito's voice to manipulate you into disrupting the disturbing experiments of The Many. Once she officially introduces herself to you in all her imposing glitchy glory, you still have to keep her satisfied to continue living. And if I were in that situation, I'd actually kinda welcome death. I do know there are other villains who serve as your mission control, some of which even predate SHODAN, as Big Boss from Metal Gear was was this all the way back on the MSX, but what made SHODAN particularly awesome as your guide is her personality. She knows she can get away with insulting you because you have no choice because of how dangerous the Many is and you need her help to know how to stop them. Like I said too, she conveys it all while her speech functionality is damaged, giving her a fluctuating voice pattern. Something about that flaw in contrast with her superiority complex makes her really interesting. And something about having to work for the bad guy can be quite scary. And even after you break free and seem to defeat her, it may not be enough...
For me Dead Rising, because it does something new in the game. Frank gets infected and Isabella helps him, from this you must get objects around the mall to make the drug for Frank to stay alive. Then you escape the mall with Isabella and unfortunately you have to walk through hundreds of zombies, fortunately Isabella makes this thing where your safe from the zombies. Couple minutes pass and your in a jeep with a machine gun and you must destroy a bloody TANK. After that you must fight Sgt. Brock Mason, on top of the tank mind you and when you kill him Frank screams in the air for a couple of seconds. And that's why Dead Rising is my favourite finale in any game.

I mean I think in myfavorite video so far, Stupid Mario Odyssey, barely has filler, Mario isn't a jerk, characters are likable, and if there is filler, it relates to the story then 2015. I want to explain it(Horizon's finale) spoilers for Horizon :Zero Dawn : It begins by Avad ( King Of Meredian ) waking you up and you see that The Shadow Carja( the game's main enemy faction ) have attacked the city and you see their Leader Helis Who Killed the man who raised you and tried to sacrifice you in a ring the fight with him is good not anything special but Ok afterwards you have the choice to kill or spare him ( I killed him because I really hate him) after that you go to defend the city to prevent the robots and The Shadow Carja to reach the spire ( if the entity they worship HADES who is the games main villain by the way , reaches the Spire then robots will take over the world , you defend the city ' s gates with Oseram Cannons ( which are super OP and fun to use ) then the enemy come 's in and you pass out and afterwards with 5 health you find out that HADES has made it to the spire and wants to begin the transmition to release robots upon the world when you make it you have to fight a deathbringer ( you have fought a bunch of them in the game ) this time with a timer and epic music and some friends you have 11 minautes to beat the thing on easy mode with the transmittion sound effect reminding you of the danger that threatens the world every now and then and some other enemies would follow you to try to prevent you from stopping HADES, after which you get a happy ending which is not that special and results in a cliffhanger , but the finale is very intense and urgent also some honorable mentions : NieR : Automata ( The fact that the controls switch between 9S and A2 all the time and you know they are gonna fight puts me on the list but in terms of endings you have to get 2 sad endings then you must face a very dfficult boss with the most depressing soundtrack in the game ( Weight of The World ) playing in the background( you can get help if you are online and it becomes way easier ) Dishonered 2 ( Despite having rather valid reasons to hate you Delilah is still a very hateable character and you returning to Dunwall tower and you see the place that was prosperous under your reign has now turned out into a witch outpost really makes you angry and the build up to defeat Delilah is awesome and feels very cool ) Also The Original Watchdogs which I think is an incredibly underrated game ( here you release reports on the prime minister murdering a girl and then you go out of the Bunker then Damien makes you wantedand tries to ki you then you hack into a satelitle with the help of Dedsec then you get Damien and you kill him ) I like how he tries to mess with you rather than the showdown .
Hey, Dafawfulizer, if you're reading this, no offense, but the way you summarized the city that dares not sleep could've used some work. for a few examples, the way you mentioned the tumor out of nowhere, the missing beginning of Max' return in the ending, mentioning the Cthonic Destroyer without explaining what it is, mentioning Papierwaite without explaining who he is, ect. don't take this comment the wrong way, I'm not intending on hating on you, I just wanted to ask this of you: please, whenever you're talking about a relatively niche franchise like Sam and Max, give a bit more context to characters and objects, just in case. and to be perfectly clear, this is coming from a guy that watched this video when it released, and who just recently got into the series. but even still, nice video, and nice usage of spotlight on one of the funniest franchises ever. also, a tiny rant here, but for me personally, the ending honestly could've been way better if they hadn't just replaced the original Max with past Max. the way I see it, if you're not going to go through with a character death to the point where only a couple of minutes later you replace the character with a literal copy of it, then don't even bother killing the character off in the first place. just think of how much more impactful the ending would've been if the writers kept Sam Maxless. i know the series is more about comedy, but still. it would've ended the series in an even more tragic way than just telltale shutting down, and the possibility of a new game in the series becoming smaller. for without Max, the series could never be the same.
My list of finales in video games by the way top 5 5. Mario and Luigi Bowser's inside story the music in the final boss is epic and its the final the most beloved music in the series fawful is cool, and my favorite boss dark fawful is in bowser's inside story we have a giant boss with princess peach's castle never seen that in a mario game. 4. Super Paper Mario it has the happiest finale in any paper mario game and count bleck and tippi walking around together in a cutscence. 3. Deltarune I like how lancer had a character development card castle is the final level puzzles were good and the thing is it picks up in chapter 2 with a fun sercert boss. 2. Undertale pasfict I like the home cutscence when you befriend monsters like pokemon but this ending is happy the main reason is the true lab is when you figure out that monsters is there alphys sees you resuces her and than we have a plot twist asriel is flowey greatest plot twist than we have one my favorite bosses themes hopes and dreams which is very good.
Good video overall, but I had to skip Number 1 since I do plan on playing the game mentioned there. However I have one question that doesn't really have anything to do with the countdown. Watching your favorite games of 2016 video made me interested in the Sam & Max series. However upon further research, season 1 is infamous for not working properly on windows 10, and I think that Season 2 has a similar problem. I haven't heard of any problems with Season 3 (The one that you mentioned in this video). So do you think that it would be okay if I skipped seasons 1 and 2, and instead just move onto Season 3? Or would skipping the first two seasons ruin the experience?
I played season 2 without first playing season 1 and I have to say, you don't have to play the first 2 seasons, but it's better if you do. They're on sale for pretty cheap right now, so I recommend getting them while you can. BTW, I have a new windows computer and season 1 is working just fine for me
Well I tried running the one free episode of season 1 (104) and when I started it up, White screen. I know that there are ways of fixing this problem from what I've been reading in discussions, but it's some really complicated stuff about going into the files of the game, and changing values or whatever. But I simply don't have the skills (or patience) to do that every time I want to play an episode (Not to mention I'm already having issues like this with Psychonauts, and I don't want to have to fiddle around with game files to play the freaking game). I've looked into season 2 and I haven't heard of anyone having problems with that game. If it works properly and I enjoy it then I'll more than likely try out Season 3.

Honestly, I find Thousand Year Door's final area to be kinda the weakest area in final areas for Mario RPG's. I kinda got bored with all the fights having repeats. The Dragon fights being borderline the same, Shadow Siren repeats, (Doopliss is an exception but that is only due to being part of his chapter.) him appearing as the last Shadow Siren, was meh. heck, I barely felt Lord Crump to be any interest, save for when he is in the prologue, and Chapter 5. I found Chapter 6 to be my favorite Chapter, and that one had higher stakes than the final battle with the Shadow Queen, who I barely felt was an important villain. Even Grodus I found to be lacking in terms of villainy. I hate to say, I find Beldum to be the only "true villain" in Paper Mario and The Thousand Year Door. Super Mario RPG, and Super Paper Mario have better villains and both came before and after TTYD respectively. And people want a remake of that game? Seems kinda dumb if you ask me. I think they really should remake the original Paper Mario Game as it would seem like a better option. Plus, it is how the series started as a whole.
In fact, I've played Rabbids Go Home, Lego City Undercover, and Portal 2. But I accidently erased the data of a memory stick that had the data of all my Wii U games except Lego Dimensions and I haven't finished Rabbids Go Home. So expect Portal 2 to be there.

Dafawfulizer, if you're reading this, no offense, but the way you summarized the city that dares not sleep could've used some work. for a few examples, the way you mentioned the tumor out of nowhere, the missing beginning of Max' return in the ending, mentioning the Cthonic Destroyer without explaining what it is, mentioning Papierwaite without explaining who he is, ect. don't take this comment the wrong way, I'm not intending on hating on you, I just wanted to ask this of you: please, whenever you're talking about a relatively niche franchise like Sam and Max, give a bit more context to characters and objects, just in case. and to be perfectly clear, this is coming from a guy that watched this video when it released, and who just recently got into the series. but even still, nice video, and nice usage of spotlight on one of the funniest franchises ever.
also, a tiny rant here, but for me personally, the ending honestly could've been way better if they hadn't just replaced the original Max with past Max. the way I see it, if you're not going to go through with a character death to the point where only a couple of minutes later you replace the character with a literal copy of it, then don't even bother killing the character off in the first place. just think of how much more impactful the ending would've been if the writers kept Sam Maxless. i know the series is more about comedy, but still. it would've ended the series in an even more tragic way than just telltale shutting down, and the possibility of a new game in the series becoming smaller. for without Max, the series could never be the same.

5. Mario and Luigi Bowser's inside story the music in the final boss is epic and its the final the most beloved music in the series fawful is cool, and my favorite boss dark fawful is in bowser's inside story we have a giant boss with princess peach's castle never seen that in a mario game.
4. Super Paper Mario it has the happiest finale in any paper mario game and count bleck and tippi walking around together in a cutscence.

What do you think of Super Paper Mario's ending?
Good video overall, but I had to skip Number 1 since I do plan on playing the game mentioned there. However I have one question that doesn't really have anything to do with the countdown. Watching your favorite games of 2016 video made me interested in the Sam & Max series. However upon further research, season 1 is infamous for not working properly on windows 10, and I think that Season 2 has a similar problem. I haven't heard of any problems with Season 3 (The one that you mentioned in this video). So do you think that it would be okay if I skipped seasons 1 and 2, and instead just move onto Season 3? Or would skipping the first two seasons ruin the experience?
I played season 2 without first playing season 1 and I have to say, you don't have to play the first 2 seasons, but it's better if you do. They're on sale for pretty cheap right now, so I recommend getting them while you can. BTW, I have a new windows computer and season 1 is working just fine for me
Well I tried running the one free episode of season 1 (104) and when I started it up, White screen. I know that there are ways of fixing this problem from what I've been reading in discussions, but it's some really complicated stuff about going into the files of the game, and changing values or whatever. But I simply don't have the skills (or patience) to do that every time I want to play an episode (Not to mention I'm already having issues like this with Psychonauts, and I don't want to have to fiddle around with game files to play the freaking game). I've looked into season 2 and I haven't heard of anyone having problems with that game. If it works properly and I enjoy it then I'll more than likely try out Season 3.

Honestly, I find Thousand Year Door's final area to be kinda the weakest area in final areas for Mario RPG's. I kinda got bored with all the fights having repeats. The Dragon fights being borderline the same, Shadow Siren repeats, (Doopliss is an exception but that is only due to being part of his chapter.) him appearing as the last Shadow Siren, was meh. heck, I barely felt Lord Crump to be any interest, save for when he is in the prologue, and Chapter 5. I found Chapter 6 to be my favorite Chapter, and that one had higher stakes than the final battle with the Shadow Queen, who I barely felt was an important villain. Even Grodus I found to be lacking in terms of villainy. I hate to say, I find Beldum to be the only "true villain" in Paper Mario and The Thousand Year Door. Super Mario RPG, and Super Paper Mario have better villains and both came before and after TTYD respectively. And people want a remake of that game? Seems kinda dumb if you ask me. I think they really should remake the original Paper Mario Game as it would seem like a better option. Plus, it is how the series started as a whole.
