It would be awesome if there was a two player couch co-op feature like Secret of Mana.
I'm excited mostly because the game's gonna be a new incarnation of the Mana world. The new wave of Mana games have all been based on old stuff; remakes and remasters. Even Echoes of Mana, though an original story, relied heavily upon the older titles. So I hope Visions of Mana can provide its own experience while maintaining that familiar Mana series vibe
I could end up being wrong but I don't think this will end up on gamepass at launch. The Xbox Dev direct they just did would have been an ideal way to communicate that wrinkle and it wasn't stated so I have to assume it will be coming to that service at a later date if at all. This is a beautiful game and I'll be getting the physical day 1. I'm hoping we see some sort of special edition of the game released (collector's edition/Steelbook) but haven't seen anything yet. This is gonna be great.
One of my most anticipated titles! I've always held the mana series close to my heart. Can't wait to play this!
I'm still pretty new to the Mana series so I am honestly just excited for it in general. It looks like a bright and colourful JRPG right up my alley so I'm stoked!
This game just feels like it has so much love poured into it already.

I wonder if this game is going to have classes ("FF jobs") like Trials of Mana, or some other way to customize each party member

Had my issues with trials of mana but I can already tell that this will be a better game

I see a lot of tales of arise in this new mana game…..take my money on day 1 for sure
Aw, shame, no big names from Legend of Mana on leading roles from what I have gathered. The crazy races and designs for NPCs is something I havent found anywhere else and I really wish would come back, dog people with their own language, fruit-salad ladies in a basket, weird beetle cockroach priest guy, a literal talking slab of mayan on a circle of stone, I wanted it so badly!
Hope we get Flammie to fly around the world map.
If this comes to Switch 2, then it goes on my list to buy
With how much experience Square Enix has with action RPG elements like in Kingdom Hearts, the ground and air combat fluidity had better be exemplary. Make it like Trials of Mana, but better.
I'm waiting to see more of the gameplay personnaly :
-I hope they bring party like Trials of Mana, you could do some pretty cool stuff with the swtiching character, most noticeably queue a Class Strike and switch to another character before the Class Strike is launch which open up pretty cool combo especially with the Class Strike that freeze their target in place, could also be use to cancel some hit lag like on Kevin or Hawk final combo. So I really hope they bring that just improve the AI.
-Spells looks really flashy but also seem to last much longuer that in Trials, altough there seems to be cool stuff with it like trapping a group of mob in small tornado and allow you to combo them while they are stuck similar to Magnet in KH, I hope we get more utility property on spells like that this time cause Trials of Mana was lacking in that.
-The big point I really want to see more is character customization, this was Trials of Mana strongest point with the Class System, chain ability that coul be transfer to other passive and active ability, there was a lot of party customization in Trials of Mana which get even crazier in NG+, and also gave Trials of Mana a lot of replay value.
-Also in regard to difficulty setting, I hope they don't do the same mistake than Trials of Mana Remake and Vision of Mana has a proper Hard Mode from the get go, and that unlike Trials of Mana the Hard Mode is actually challenging, and that we won't get to wait month after the release to get a challenging mode, and also that such Hard Mod won't be stuck behind NG+.
My interest in this game wages only on if it has 3 person local co-op or not like Secret

graphic...when you talk about sprite translation into 3d, i realise trails of mana (2020), DQ XI, and this Square making some kind of unique graphic style that some years in future will be like pixelart, cuz from DQ XI it didn't change much and still looks awsome that prove to timeless. And as they maintain it for some time/establish design with time becoming less demanding..so thats mean combat animations can be more complex and flashy which show here with this aero effects. Didn't think that graphic can be big deal but now start to think Square making some timeless standard alongside HD2D
Glad see square giving mana a grand chance more western marketing by doing it at Xbox and game awards .
