This is definitely something that would have aesthetically bothered me and I too would have looked to do the same. Great idea and now water shouldn’t get in and start rusting this beauty out. Cant wait for this bike to arrive in the states!👍🏻🙌😎
Thank you, hope the bike gets over to the states soon 🤞🏻 yeah it just looked like the bike hadn’t been finished off properly but a very easy and cheap fix 👍🏻😀
Thanks Malcolm, hopefully it will help a few folks out who want to seal off the holes. Cheap as chips to do too 👍🏻 Any prospective arrival dates for your Guerrilla?
@@MerciaMotoUnfortunately no date for the arrival yet, they haven't got the colour in stock, so it could be up to 17 weeks, but it will be worth the wait 😊
Nice one Dave 👍 Hoping to catch up with your Guerrilla content soon, just been very busy as usual. In the meantime I've managed to have a go on one and I must say I found it rather exhilarating ! Enjoy it Dave. All the best from Spain. Garry & Ruby
Good morning Garry and Ruby, 👋🏻 apologies for delayed response, work has been getting in the way of all things TH-cam! 🙂 They are animals aren’t they those Gorillas, sorry Guerrilla’s 😂😂 so much fun I absolutely love Gus (not in a gay way)! 😂😂 Looking forward to catching up with your recent videos over the weekend 😀Cheers both 👍🏻😀
@@MerciaMoto No need to apologise Dave, I'm also really struggling to keep on top of things here ! But looking forward to hearing your take on the Guerrilla as I look to edit my own Guerrilla video over the weekend ! All the best from Spain, Garry
Hello, thanks for watching and leaving a comment. I’m sure there will be some luggage coming through and you may well be right that those recesses may be utilised for mounting. 🤔cheers 👍🏻
G’day Clive, having to bung up your own holes! 😬 Shocking, what on earth were RE thinking! 😂 I’m guessing it’s a keep costs down decision 🤔 I just can’t resist the urge to fill an empty hole though! Ooerrr! 😂😂👍🏻
Evening Dave, when one of my subscribers uploaded a photo of his new Guerrilla on FB a while ago, I suggested that he did this……I am off to B+Q tomorrow 😉👍
@@ianhughesroyalenfield When you did your review at Crewe motorcycles and pointed them out I was pondering what to use to blank them. One of my subscribers ‘wish I could remember who it is, to thank them, said he’d found suitable blanks in B&Q and cheap as chips to boot! Have fun in B&Q tomorrow, I only went for a tub of filler! 😂😂👍🏻
That was me Dave!🤣🤣 The day after I got mine I went to B and Q. I remembered having to do the same thing on a Honda CB300R a few years ago. Watch this space, I've discovered some further plastic nut covers to go around the bike which, should help minimise tarnishing and corrosion around the bikes fixing. I'll be posting a piccie on the Facebook page.🙂👍
Went straight out and got mine . Keep it up mate 👍
@@Tomfum-j9m hiya Tom, it was you that told me you’d got them from B&Q wasn’t it? 😀 I was trying to remember so that I could give you a mention 👍🏻
Thats what she said
😂 cheers Pedro 👍🏻
Just the job👍
Thank you 🙏🏼 hopefully some folks will find it useful 👍🏻

I have this bike, good idea! 👍
Absolutely, thank you 🙏🏼 👍🏻
Great idea !
Thanks Manuel 😀
good call that dave now i know where to get some blanking plugs from
Happy to be of assistance 👍🏻😀
Brilliant idea 💡 👏
Cheers, lots of folks have mentioned that a way of blaming these holes is desirable, and this is an option, very cheap too! 👍🏻😀
I would definitely be putting a dab of grease around the edge of those plugs to keep water out.
Excellent suggestion Patrick thank you, I shall definitely be doing that 👍🏻
Is there any luggage system coming out for the guerrilla, might be where it will be located.

G’day Dave, good job there mate but why are there holes? Strange design. RE should have bunged them holes for ya mate 👍

I will see what I can do 👍🏻😂
@@MerciaMotodoesn’t need them Dave, brakes are perfect as they are. Braided lines lack feel 😉 Voice of experience speaking 😂
You could secrete all manner of things up there and now no one would ever know. Secret messages perhaps... Or a small screwdriver... Spare key??
You’re right Peter, I hadn’t thought that they could be used as hidey holes. The large ones could definitely work for a small item 🤔👍🏻
