Hi Dave, Gr8 video. Having lived overseas for many years, I had never heard of "dogging". I guess the country is further down the toilet than I imagined. You mentioned Paul had fitted a screen to his Hunter with a connection to Lanes Explorer. Peter confirmed it was his Meteor screen. Would love to see/hear more about that if you could fit it into one of your daylight videos. Without K9 connections 😅
Thanks Tim, glad you enjoyed the video 😀 yeah we joke about some of the nocturnal and sometimes not so nocturnal goings on, and you’re right there seems to be a general feeling of societal decline in the country at the moment. Anyway, yes it is Peter’s screen on Paul’s Hunter. I’ll definitely try and pick up on it in a future video when we’re back out and about in the daylight. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment 👍🏻 😀
Hi Tim, thanks mate, it’s marvellous to hear that you enjoy the banter, it amazes me sometime ms how many folks I know don’t get banter, especially the younger generation, well that’s for discussion another time 😀 what can I say about PP’s jokes, he just seems to pull them out of the air sometimes, he’s a very funny guy. I wish i could share everything he says but I have to keep the channel as family friendly as I can 😂😂😂 cheers 🍻
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍until the next time guys, 2024 evening ride outs , but already looking forward to your daily ride outs, weather permitting of course, ride safe until the next time, bfn Mike Sunny Wales
Thank you Mick. I shall be restarting the remaining videos from the Summer of the Dragon series of videos from next week alongside our Norfolk tour videos from back in July so lots still to come. I really appreciate all of the great feedback you’ve given about the videos and hope we’ve managed to keep you entertained. Giving a lot of thought to what 2025 adventures to embark on and take you along with us through the videos. Cheers 👍🏻😀
Well what can one say you kept us in the dark over that one, when you were talking about doggin kept thinking how do they carry a pooch on their bikes then, and as for the fly by well hunter sounded great, did you say baffle in or out, quick bit of info where did you get the rechargeable lamp from you put in the tree, well next season red hanky some corned beef butties and a flask of lamb and veg soup, and then a dodgy parking spot in the north west, well done guys thanks Ted
Hello Ted, apologies for delayed response. The places we find ourselves aye 😂😂 the sound of Paul’s Hunter on the fly by did sound superb didn’t it! The baffles are removed. The rechargeable lamps are from Amazon 👉🏻 amzn.eu/d/5M96igK Thanks for watching and leaving a comment 👍🏻😂
Hello Peter, thank you, great to hear it made you laugh 😀 the exhaust note with the precision end can really is glorious isn’t it? 😀 I see the dawn of a new month has arrived by the arrival of the next instalment of the adventures of Lanes Explorer.👌🏻 That’s my weekends viewing planned! 😀👍🏻
@MerciaMoto Yes that picnic in the dark surpassed even last week's one. Just so funny you three together. Enjoy your weekend and hope you are feeling better
😂😂😂 Now, now Dave. You, a ponce ?!?! I would NEVER suggest such a thing ! It Is just a somewhat brave colour choice for a distinguished gentleman of a certain age, such as your good self. Thanks for discussing my humble opinion on Guerrilla colour schemes in this very entertaining video. Yes, the Guerrilla would be in addition to and not instead of either of the other two. That's the problem really, still not sure that I can cope with three bikes 🤔 You lot have so much banter, there's never any danger of it being a boring ride with you lot. Hilarious. Good of Paul to keep the jokes coming too. I did think "dogging" when you lot decided to meet in the dark for a picnic, but fortunately it looks like you got away with it ! A somewhat bizarre idea for a ride out, but I like it ( the nighttime picnic, not the dogging 🤗). Good luck with the DIY audicator Dave. I don't like the lack of idiot LEDs on these bikes with screens. I found the indicator warning on the TFT to be very hard to see in daylight. I A very enjoyable video with the expected hilarious Midlands banter. Lovely. Looking forward to seeing how you find the Guerrilla once you can use all of the revs !!! Cheers Dave, Paul and Paul, Garry & Ruby
Hello Garry and Ruby, 😂😂😂 well what can I say about Paul and his choice of nocturnal picnicking locations! The place had a very different feel about it from our initial visit there earlier in the year on a balmy summers evening when the first of Paul’s cake stands made an appearance 😂 I wasn’t sure there would be much point doing or recording these ride outs this late in the year where we’re out in the dark, but I’ve found myself enjoying them more for the conversation which is basically some sixty something blokes just chatting about our lives in general. It seems to have resonated with quite a few folks, including yourself and the feedback has been great. The DIY audicator has passed proof of concept testing and has now moved to final construction, if all goes to plan cries of “INDICATOR DAVE” will soon be consigned to history! 😂😂 Cheers! 🍻😀
@ I did think that I would miss Paul shouting “Indicator Dave !”, should your audicator pass the prototype stage. Have you considered using a digitised recording of Paul saying “Indicator Dave !” instead of a beep ? It would be pretty hilarious to see you riding down the road with “Indicator Dave ! Indicator Dave ! Indicator Dave !” emanating from your bike 😂 I think that could be the tweak to take your invention to the next level. Heck, I think I’d even buy one, just to have Paul looking out for me on every ride 👍 Think about it Dave ! 🙃
@@MerciaMoto Yep. You can put me down for one Dave ! Just keep it under your hat, otherwise Paul might want to secure a licensing fee for the use of his voice 🤫
Dave you're right to keeping your Audicator simple as you can switch off the indicator at long waits if necessary. All you're really needing is the reminder to switch them off once the turn has been made. Perhaps instead of a beep sound you can get one the Pauls to do a recording... "Indicator Dave" and incorporate that 😂😂
@MerciaMoto yeah we tend to be James/John/David etc with a few Welsh surnames for good measure. My fav though is Titley😁 (sorry surname) P.s theres a Titleys knob! Oh an going Conwy rally in Feb!
As much as I enjoyed sharing the crack with the three of you, it's perhaps just as well that as the nights draw in this is the last evening ride out. There can be no doubt that the sites you're visiting are indeed the subject of dodgy nocturnal activities. "Oh we were just meeting up for a romantic candle lit picnic to share Paul's Muffins officer" I feel isn't going to prevent further enquiries 🤔🙄😂 I may have edited my last video, the video of my new bike gained me three subs then lost me two. The latest one with Edna giving her opinion lost me another and on all videos I know there are comments from regulars hidden from me. It's just not worth the time effort and expense 😕😞
Hi Mick, Paul is going to get us arrested isn’t he! 😂😂 Please don’t give up making videos, don’t let the negativity a tiny minority of folks and subscribers coming and going detract from what you’re doing. Do it for you and for those of us who enjoy your videos. I found myself falling into the trap of feeding the beast of TH-cam with videos, it’s so easy to do. Now I just do them for me and the guys as a record of our motorcycling experiences and if folks like em that’s brilliant. I wish I could find more time to watch all of the videos you and my other favourites make. I need a strategy 🤔 I’m gonna go for one video per day of my favourite channels, starting with yours! See you over there in the comments later 👍🏻😀
@ Thanks for your support and encouragement Dave, the loss of subs I think is down to TH-cam itself. I got a notification about a new sub Haggis Whisperer Graham and I have been subbed to each other for years. I understand how difficult it is to keep up with everyone but what I didn’t realise was how the algorithm works. After you or I ignore a recommendation it pushes it down the list disappearing altogether from suggestions. I’ve been busy building a shed for a couple of the bikes, I’ll get back to making content soon.

Enjoyed the video, and the banter you three have is great. Looking forward to the videos round Wales.

Brilliantly funny Dave, Paul and Paul. Pleased that the screen has worked out well for PP. Tall Paul's Hunter sounds great 👍

Precisely Peter, we have been considering a recorded “Indicator Dave” message alert, with one of the Paul’s, Kevin or Joe selected at Random! 😂😂
Come the winter flooding you would be 3 to 4 ft under water!..... that road often closed for upto a week 🛥🛥🛥
