I just bought a GLK 350 and the mounts from my other MBs didn't fit. Had one which was close enough, so I had to tweak your method a bit, but it works great. Saved me from having to buy yet another front plate mount. Danka!
You sir, are a genius... and I was crazy enough to go to the lengths to mount my bracket this way and it worked exactly as you showed! The front plate makes the car look ugly, so most of the time I'll just have this in my trunk and then I'll throw it on when I'm driving / parking in places where there are a lot of cops. Thanks so much for coming up with this idea and showing us the way!

It might have been better to make the video as you were doing the job. Anyway, I'm just going to go ahead and screw mine to the car. That way, it definitely won't move about and cause scratches.
How do you install the front license plate for the 2018 Mercedes C-300? Because the bracket looks like a snap on... but when I snap it on the grill I feel like it’ll fall off ...doesn’t feel secure for me so what do I do? There’s no videos for this....
