I will definitely be looking into Helix Sleep as soon as I'm out of the unemployment line. Thank you immensely for reminding me of them. ...on a completely unrelated note, could you ask Luke where he got that Pokémon Stadium t-shirt? I'd like to get one of my own.
I have a fun idea for a challenge. Could y’all please catch eight Pokemon of your choice that all have random abilities. Both of you also get to pick out the move sets after catching the Pokemon. Once you both acquire teams, read off each of your team members’ Pokedex entries to each other. If the one being read to correctly identifies a Pokemon entry, he gets the option to force a trade without knowing the moveset of the identified Pokemon. However, you get to pick out a custom ability for the traded Pokemon. Sabotaging some of your own team members is legal. So say the two leftover Pokemon with easy Pokédex entries that are physical attackers like Machamp has only special or support moves is completely legal to do. The Pokemon can’t be pseudo legends, legends, paradox, ultra beast, mythical or, starters to make it a bit more challenging.
So, I was thinking that they should have a video where we, as the audience, also don't know what they're picking. Just reactions, and us guessing (combined with your idea of just Pokedex entries) until the battle. Then we can see the battle and experience all the excitement of not knowing who/what's coming next.
I’ve got an idea, choose your starter but you can only choose left middle or right up to two times so let’s say you choose left first two rounds and third round you want left, you can’t choose it since you already used up your two left picks and can only pick right or middle
@@todorokithegamer1853 you're not updated dude, that was over a year ago in the earlier regs.... And it's also true now in regulation H so ig you're not completely wrong either.
What about one of these in reverse? You roll random abilities and get 6 movesets/items then go into a randomized game to find the best pokemon for each set.
A possible video idea... It relates to the battleship videos, but you have the three randomized starters (which the opponent can't see)... You choose one, and the opponent has 5 yes or no questions to try to guess what pokemon you selected... If guessed correctly, a nerf is added to the selected pokemon... but if incorrect, then the one who picked the pokemon gets a buff (or to spice it up, can replace the pokemon on screen with the opponent's guess)... For example, you choose breloom... And the opponent asks these five questions... 1. Is it dual type? Yes 2. First half of the national dex? Yes 3. Is it a legendary? No 4. Is it a fire, water, or grass type? Yes 5. Is it gen 3 or 4? Yes Say the opponent thinks you picked swampert... Since incorrect, you could get a buff like any move, ability, or even exchange breloom for the swampert
Here's a cool idea for a video. Both you and your opponent get 8 abilities to use throughout the randomized starter selection these are the abilities and rules 4 Offensive abilities that will effect your opponents selection Swap-after your opponent selects a pokemon you can swap it with another pokemon thats in front of you. Sabotage-the pokemon your opponent chooses can only use 3 skills the 4th one is locked Butter fingers - no held items allowed for the pokemon your opponent selects Handicapped-one of the base stats of the pokemon your opponent chooses must be set to 0, it is up to the opponent to choose. (Can not be special or physical attack) (Bonus) depending on if you choose to play this with hidden starters or allowing your opponent to know what the starters are. Reveal - does what the name says. Forces your opponent to tell you all the starters truthfully Hidden - allows you to not have to say the starts in front of you and makes your opponent guess randomly 4 abilities that will benefit your selection Retrain - allows you to distribute the base stats around as you please, as long as the BST stays the same Ascend-allows you to use any ability you want on your pokemon you choose. Type change- allows you to change a single typing of your pokemon you chose Counter - allows you to nullify a single negative ability your opponent uses when you select your pokemon. Please if anyone else had cool ideas for abilities add below in the replies and lmk what you think
This is so funny. Right at 1:40 when Luke was doing that thing with your glasses where you point them down and it squishes everything, I WAS TOO! I didn’t even notice till I stopped right when Shady called attention to it. LOL.
An idea I'd love someone to try: Generate 7 or 8 random abilities. Then pick from random starters BUT you need to assign as you go. So the last abilities left might not work for the last option.
Hey dad I have an idea, I know you like classic rpg’s with mages and fairytale lore, what if you made a “rpg” team by picking mons that you think would fit the criteria of mage, warrior, tank, assassin etc etc
While I like the idea of this challenge, I feel like every buff/debuff round, you should remove that one from the wheel so there is a chance for something else 😂
What about COD's Gun Game but with Pokemon. Premise: you both pick 3 pokemon that have 3 stage evolutions. Start them all on the first stage. Whomever wins, gets to evolve one pokemon. THE CATCH; The opponent picks which ines evolves first.
Cool idea no take back you tell the other person one Pokémon and they can either pick that mon or go to the next one and can’t go back and don’t tell them the next Mon until they decide to pick the Mon
idk how the video works rn, but what u could do is spin a wheel, tell them which pokemon they got from that one and they can either respin for one of the other 2 or take it, they have to take the final one if they dont take the other 2, and if they say no to one of them, they cant go back n change their mind
What if you try to balance choices? Let's say, you have five tiers. Pokemon from S-tier will have huge nerf (or 2 nerfs) like you used in your video. A-tier will have nerf but not so big. B-tier will be untouched, C-tier will have some buff and D-tier will have huge buff (or 2 buffs). Buffs and nerfs coul be chosen by any way: random or opponents chose a nerf from the list and you choose your buffs. So you will ask your opponent what tier he will choose, knowing that rule.

hey
Shady I've seen that Misty Explosion Hatterene is really strong, maybe strong enough to kill an Iron Treads, for example...
What does adding "AND" to your titles do 🤔
I will definitely be looking into Helix Sleep as soon as I'm out of the unemployment line. Thank you immensely for reminding me of them.

You didn't lose me and this is a W
I like the idea, but I agree with the others that it could be shorter
I love that it was supposed to be blind to the opponent, but luke spoiled half his team and shadys brain goes too fast to retain it lmao
Right? 😂
I expect nothing less from our professional thrower
fast? lol

"I wouldn't write home to it if I were at war but I'd take it on a date when I'm home" is such a poignant descriptor. What a bar lol
"Three pokemon from Weenie Hut Jr" Is a fantastic quote
At least one of them evolves into something pretty big XD
the funniest part is that murkrow is one of the best support pokemon in competitive vgc this gen
Care for another sundae weenie?

Next time add more left right middle, cause when the wheel slows down it's easy to know what it is, and more would make it more intense

luke starting with those glasses was hilarious🤣
This is so funny. Right at 1:40 when Luke was doing that thing with your glasses where you point them down and it squishes everything, I WAS TOO! I didn’t even notice till I stopped right when Shady called attention to it. LOL.
5:20 is THAT where "writing home about something" comes from? That's crazy!
Would've been cool if you covered up team preview so you could react to the opponents pokemon as they're sent in
I have been falling asleep to ur guys videos for months now
I love the Helix sleep add. Shady is so close to falling asleep while reading it off.
I have been watching for a while and I LOVE your content, BUT I think you shoulddo doubles as your default, it is so much more intense and funnier
As a Dad being a Dude I love Shady and Dylan's vibes but let's be real Luke and Shady are just unrivalled as a pair 😍
Shady we love the content! your the goat🐐🐐
😂😂😂
He aint wrong

I’ve been watching your content for almost 9 years now and it never fails to bring me a smile. Thank you :)
If shady pops out another kid soon, this sponsor is the best sponsor and I’m absolutely gonna buy one!
In a different video he did say he doesn't pull out, so maybe another is on the way? :b
Gave this a like for the Ninetales vs Ninetales. My favorite Pokémon, too!😊
The Casino Night Zone music while Luke sat there looking like Dr Robotnik is crazy
Havent checked out this channel in like 7 years lol, glad to see youre still doing well
Love when you post Shady! I have looked up to you for such a long time and love who you collab with! Hope you keep creating more! 😄
I love choosing a starting each Pokémon game 😂
Recently discovered the channel, and you have electric energy, my dude. Keep up the phenomenal work!
Shady loves his Gen 3 Dark types. Shifty, Crawdaunt, Cacturne.
Hey dad I have an idea, I know you like classic rpg’s with mages and fairytale lore, what if you made a “rpg” team by picking mons that you think would fit the criteria of mage, warrior, tank, assassin etc etc
It would be interesting if you did this but removed whatever buff or debuff you get. Will make the chance of getting Mewtwo more fun
0:36 He looks like a nerdier Ozzy Osbourne
a fun challenge would be to pick six starters randomize a set of 24 moves and asign those 24 moves any way you wish
Assuming those shades aren't prescription, Luke should absolutely have a prescription variation made, he needs to wear them more
Roll a wheel or randomizer for a Pokemon movie, then randomly select a pokemon from said movie to build your team
It's crazy that shady won even the first battle
Can we get a cagelocke with you 2 the comedy is just unmatched
9:02 Iron head my favorite Fighting type move
I haven't watched Shady in like 9-10 years. It's crazy have much has changed since the young, shaved man in that tiny bedroom.
6:37 BRO THE BEARD EDIT HOLY
While I like the idea of this challenge, I feel like every buff/debuff round, you should remove that one from the wheel so there is a chance for something else 😂
Shady is such a wheel goblin I love it
he is right, we do love sweeps, i always think about the venomoth sweep
Luke brought the chaos goblin energy today and I'm here for all of it 🤣
Luke’s drip is gas
9:03 ah yes, Iron Head the fighting type move
I love "Choose Your Starting" videos!
I have been finding them boring lately.
@@Chilliconkanye Ok.
Lmaoo I love when Luke is on one like this, and I agree that pokemon stadium shirt is sick. Always with the drip
Shady mixing up Waluigi and Wario whilst trying to make a joke...
It would be cool to see Technician with illegal silver winds, ominous winds, and ancient power
Shady is on his wheel grind
Id love there to be a legend thats incredible and then they land mewtwo wich is worse than it
How about a 60 base power or lower challenge? You can pick any 6 from your starters BUT they can only have moves that are 60 base power or lower
What if you made a video where all mons have the exact same speed stat?
11:39 new song for Luke’s channel. 😂
What about COD's Gun Game but with Pokemon.

Lukey: why is he sad :o
shady: sad... :o
Luke looking like Daredevil 😂
I get so happy just seeing Lugia onscreen. My absolute boiiii
Cool idea no take back you tell the other person one Pokémon and they can either pick that mon or go to the next one and can’t go back and don’t tell them the next Mon until they decide to pick the Mon
can we get a vid on how to randomize starter for ourselves? much love shady p!
Luke was so silly in this one
MISTY EXPLOSION IS 100bp, moonblast is 95! I expected Vinny to fail at that when he did but Shady??? You know better...
This is a nice break from the mayhem from this morning's stream lol
He did it!
WOOP WOOP, gotta love the brother content
Me hitting the ad segment at 3:30 am when I should be asleep hurts
I feel attacked as I watch this at 1:36 am lmao 😂😂
Shady finally got Trailblaze right!!!
My favorite poke TH-camr
Luke’s shirt is FIRE! Like Shady’s beard
Luke looking like Matt Murdock out here with those glasses 🤣
Shady with the nice fade and sweet beard lookin clean
Try a challenge where you each have 30 seconds to draw the pokemon for the other to choose
Luke should've went for "I alone am the balanced one" right after they picked their Pokémon!!!
Luke looking like Daredevil with those glasses.
Shady: let’s talk sleep
*me watching this video at 1am*
someone on the right had a few sips before recording 😂
baha the crawduant and cacturne back then were iconic.
You should do smaller pie slices instead of huge ones like that.
Miraipon
Nuzlocke and then we fight would be so fun 😂
Luke thinking he looks like gojo with the glasses but he actually looks like daredevil 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I LOVE SHADY PENGUIN
Luke always has the coolest shirts
Casino night music from sonic is an incredible OST choice for this
idk how the video works rn, but what u could do is spin a wheel, tell them which pokemon they got from that one and they can either respin for one of the other 2 or take it, they have to take the final one if they dont take the other 2, and if they say no to one of them, they cant go back n change their mind
You have to do the best 2 out of 3 cause it just kills my brain to end it in a tie 😂
I think it would have been nice to instead tell what the mon is but the buff and and debuff is secret maybe for future video
Hey what up shady penguin you are my first TH-camr I subscribed to then game boy Luke was my second TH-camr

Shady and Larry the lobster got the same energy
Is anyone able to point out a guide to how shady and them do these challenges? I think it would be a blast to do with friends
One of these with drewby would be comedy
Dude these videos are awesome
Nice to see Dylan's uncle on the channel.
Luke should’ve had blue contacts in for the bit 💀
Physical Clawitzer is actually crazy lmao
The Gojo glasses go hard
