I'm not too sure but I think the only proper recovery moves you could've got with "S" on quagsire were either soft-boiled, slack off or strength sap, with strength sap being great utility as it heals based on the opponents atk stat, then lowers it one stage It would've made quagsire borked beyond belief
strength sap would be worse because the amount you can heal over time goes down, but because it is unaware it still takes the same damage. Synthesis over sunny day would have been way better

Maybe one day they will accurately say how good as gold works when they pick it. It makes you immune to status MOVES, not statuses. Attacking moves that have secondary effects will still cause the effect. Although, it could be arguably better depending if there are stat lowering moves.
I would have added C to Uxie so it can have a Choice Band, use the I from it's name to give it Intrepid Sword, and the used the E to give it Explosion to go boom

I have a fun idea for a challenge. Could y’all please catch eight Pokemon of your choice that all have random abilities. Both of you also get to pick out the move sets after catching the Pokemon. Once you both acquire teams, read off each of your team members’ Pokedex entries. If the one being read to correctly identifies a Pokemon entry, he gets the option to force a trade without knowing the moveset of the identified Pokemon. The player who gets the identity correct is also able to pick out a custom ability for the traded Pokemon. Sabotaging some of your own team members is legal. Let’s say that the two leftover Pokemon with easy Pokédex entries are physical attackers like Machamp. You can rigg the entire moveset to be special or support moves. The Pokemon can’t be pseudo legends, legends, paradox, ultra beast, mythical or, starters to make it a bit more challenging.
hey Shady you should do this idea again but with a twist instead. Instead of you can use any letters in the pokemon's name you have to use them in order, the first letter for ability, second letter for item, and then so on, for instance like Flygon, I would have f for flame body, and then l for lum berry, y for yawn, g for gunk shot, o, for outrage, and n for night slash, (you can sub in the next letter too if there are no moves that letter can learn). Another thing is it will be what the pokemon is shown not the fully evolved evoultions but if it's there pre or middle stage you can only use those letters. The twist you pick for your opponent team and your opponent picks for you, best out of 3 and after each battle the winner can decide to trade one of there's for yours or keep.

You then look up its german name (Glumanda) and build your Charizard with the letters from that name. So in this case you would have access to Geomancy for example, since there is a G in Glumanda.

Synthesis would combo w/ the Orichalcum Pulse for over half health per use, though Strength Sap was prolly the play w/ Quag being a bulky mon.
