Nobody talks about the fact that during the wars so many planes were going down in the sea, so many ships were being sunk that there was an explosion of human bodies just floating around. Sharks aren't stupid they try one their going to eat another we're just food. So it's a miracle that anyone made it out of the sea. My great uncle was one of the lucky ones his plane went down not too far from the coast with 5 people, only 2 survived and only 1 out of the 3 bodies were found.
