Would you rather watch Brady Bunch or Breaking Bad? There's just no contest. Intelligent audiences want complex characters and interesting themes. The character of Ali Walker a female Druggist disappeared from the Andy Griffith show without any explanation also. She choose to leave the show but the show never mentioned her again, the same woman was also the daughter on Father knows best. This was before Happy Days appeared.
I really enjoyed that show happy days & fonz , simply incredible, I loved the show and the music theme tunes, & the characters r.i.p for the ones who passed away
Marion is a nice person. She met my baby daughter around 2008 and loved to spend time with her every week. Kind of like a God mother. A wonderful soul.
She didn't die of throat cancer, she died of alcoholism and prescription drug use. She died in the mobile home that she shared with her mother in law. She also became the town bar entertainment. Sadly, I met with her numerous times in our town, she was always drunk, and in a stupor. I gave her rides home a few times and even tried to hide her from people. She was very kind and had alot of problems. I feel if her colleagues would have threw a bone, they would have unknowingly saved her life. She had great stories to tell and some secrets too. I will keep those to myself, but in the end she died alone, in a shitty trailer park, in a shitty trailer in her bathrobe. They should have helped her.

At age 40 ,she looked twenty years older. When she died at age 55, she looked like she was 70.
In the pilot (actually a Love American Style episode), Susan Neher, a very good young actress, portrayed Joanie, and I think she should have been kept. She was cynical and deadpan, the perfect countermeasure to Richie and his friends, but I guess the producers wanted a more "girl next door" type.

They all sang and danced and ate dinner with us spending about 3 days on board the ship with us for the holiday! God Bless them all!

OMG! 😱😱😱 I used to love that show! I asked my dad and brothers what the name of it was and none of them even remembered the show. I'm 54 years old, I was young when I watched the show, I remembered the show, but not the title. Finally.....thank you for that! Now I can rest my mind and tell my family I'm not crazy! 😂

Anson Williams, Marion Ross, and Donny Most And a majority of the Waltons, and Marcus Welby MD along with Cynthia Rhodes of Dirty Dancing fame, spent a Christmas with us on board the USS Sumter (LST-1181) while we were in the mediteranean on deployment. They all sang and danced and ate dinner with us spending about 3 days on board the ship with us for the holiday! God Bless them all!

It had Ron Howard, Anson Williams and Marion Ross . Once the George Lucas movie came out about the carry-over life of the late 1950's that was dying in 1962...Happy Days pilot from Love American Style became a weekly TV show in 1974 .
