I've crafted
- HP% Slot (4) Vio.
- Spd slot (2) Desp
- Spd slot (2) Will
- Crit Rate slot (4) Revenge.
That last rune was after considering the fact that I have only ONE hero Revenge rune on my account that I was sharing between Juno and Verde in RTA. Its funny because your point in the "best substats explained" portion highlighted using niche runes. I'm still a bit hesistant on putting points into rerolling as opposed to making an almost perfect vio spd rune
If you had a Spd Slot 2 vio, the argument would make more sense. On a slot 4 hp%, I think its a waste to funnel all points at that since we dont have a +6 event.

I'm somewhat in midgame aiming for doing better in rta (currently easy c1 strugling with c2, c3), i've gone for 1 vio slot 6 hp, 1 despair slot 2 spd, 1 will slot 2 spd and 1 will slot 6 atk and was just wondering wich prefix would be the best for them following your criteria with the substats. Thanks for these videos, really appreciate them!
Hp 6 Vio - Acc/Crit > Flatstat
Spd 2 Desp/Will - Acc/Crit > Flatstat
Atk 6 Will - Acc > CritDmg/Flatstat

I've been saving my points so far, not sure how best to use them. Thank you for this video. I wasn't sure how best to approach this event without the +6 mechanic, but your breakdown and analysis was super helpful in terms of aiming to get the best value.
Edit: It is really striking how different the value proposition on these runes are without the +6 mechanic. Your breakdown of aiming from best value on grindable stats makes so much sense here.
Here's what I've rolled after about 15k Points (all Violent runes):
1. Slot 2 Speed; Attack +8%, Crit Rate +6%, Accuracy +7%, Def +8% (will continue to chase for Hp in lieu of accuracy)
2. Slot 4 Crit Damage; Hp +5%, Attack +7%, Spd +6, Def +8% (will continue chasing higher base stat values, but this is probably the most successful rune)
3. Slot 6 Attack %; Def +8%, Spd +6, Crit Dmg +4%, HP +6% (will chase crit rate instead of crit damage and aim for better base stats)
4. Slot 6 Hp %; Crit Rate +5%, Accuracy +7%, Spd +6, Crit Dmg +7% (will probably keep rolling this one generally)
Your slot 2 is the best one so far.
1>3>2/4 atm in terms of best to worst.

Hey Tyler :) Currently Im tryin to build tricaru and till now just cant get it to run. I think about picking Determination runes 2,4,6 DEF% 2 SPD to get it running. At the current moment I think this will take my account further ahead because at the moment I cant rly farm Vio und Will because my runs take to long.
Honestly, if you want to want to do tricaru runes youre probably better off taking runes that would be good on verde (rage 2/4/6) the actual defense requirements for Tricaru are fairly low considering 3 Def% Main rune, +200 from White +15 Artifacts, and then either 1-2 guard sets or just basic 4% def grinds.
I think determination is one of the worst sets to craft because youre almost always better off crafting fight runes. Determination runes are filler sets that are meant for BEFORE you get good runes. If you use good determination runes (or make them), youre basically wasting the stat because it doesnt increase your damage for Icaru or Verde.
(Can refer to my Tricaru Guide if you need tips on the teams best min/max setup)

Hi, I'm asking for future rune crafting event purposes. In my mind I want an atk% slot 6 either vio or will but the sub Stat that I had in mind would be atk, spd, cr, cd and as you said this isn't efficient. I just wanted to ask why cuz I'm thinking that if I'm gonna get a rune I'd want to chase for the stats that a damage dealer monster would need. Please educate me on this one if you have the time thank you :)
A ton of damage dealers these days will more efficiently use accuracy > crit damage. It's just a nicer stat to have since it applies to multiple skills and then you can look for Crit Dmg bonuses on your artifacts.

Picking one rage rune is definitely viable :) maybe even 2 if you really wanted.

Hey Friend, i started SW a few days ago.. This is alot for me.. i have been lucky enough to summon a wind Joker which im told is very good.. So i wont be able to finish the event at all.. is there any "quick" grab 'x' runes you would suggest? (ive rolled a decent Vio 2nd slot for speed) its not perfect like you suggested here it has Def / Crit / Atk / Crit D... but any other quick suggestions?

Could do it for ragdoll, dont think its worth it for fran specifically?

This is probably the first time I've done a Rune event where one of my runes I'm actually not specifically chasing speed (wouldn't be against it tho) as I'm just tryna get a chunky HP vio rune slot 6 for my recently summoned Kiki (no new introduced 5* mons tho) and I actually mainly need resistence of all things (20% for 100%) so watch this be the single time where I end up with a quad speed rolled rune event rune
Should I take Determination Rune slot 2/4/6 Def% for my tricaru team? Im 19days playing and Really need deter runes for fast tricaru build.. It is advisable for thhouse rushing tricaru team in Beginner accounts? Or maybe Will slot 6/2 Atk% or Will Slot 4 CritD for Baley for BJR5 or Rage runes 2/4/6 for him?
I think bjr5 better longerm value. Determination runes are pretty low tier and would give you ok value starting but horrible value as you progress more and more
hey do i keep vio spd fix acc 5% def 5% cr 6% atk 6% and hp 6% i can do all content i play for siege right now prob if i cofus on arena i get get c3/g1 all dung under 1min (i wonder cuz they are low rolls in to the grindable stats but still looks rly good cuz all stats that are wanted)
You keep it and keep rolling for better once your other runes are okay too :)
I will probably take the safest option to at least get something useful from the start. Will go for Vio/Will/Swift/Despair Slot 2 Speed with subs as you said HP% DEF% ATK% ACC/CR.
After farming DB12 with my Tricaru 2 months without getting many Hero+ max efficiency Vio runes, I will prefer something that can roll just OK and still be useful on units. Considering how few runes roll 3-4 times into speed, I don't wanna take the gamble for a reapp material.
I have my Destiny built vio will, a good slot 2 spd rune, other than that what runes would you suggest I go after for her, and would going after despair runes for kinki be ok or not worth it.
Kinki can use desp, vio, vamp. He uses just about anything. If you want to go Kinki Desp runes Id probably do Hp6 and/or Spd 2 with triple grindable and accuracy. If youre going for 100 res, the runes will be more niche but you can find those on the same slots.
Also for Destiny in RTA, I think Swift Spd Cr Atk/Hp w 30-40% acc is the best build. Its a super strong water ryu counter and still has great damage output

Im going for vio runes because there are the lowest drop rate, since there are 6 different sets that drop on dragons.
Can you touch on what you think you should aim for on the innate stats on the runes?
Im pretty sure there are no innate stats on these runes, but the innate stats you would want "ideally" for runes and reapps are covered in the reapp guide video

I’ve been considering looking into optimizing my RTA units. I have so many units and runes are spread thin. All my units are runed great but I know I can make my really good units way better with optimization without sacrificing too much from bonus units that are niche or specific. Do you still do optimization for accounts? If so I would love to chat privately about how to go about that.

Hey! I'm about 400 days into this account. I'm considering taking a Vio speed slot 2 and a will speed slot 2 and then a will hp slot 6 and will crd slot 4. I want to make a strong will lushen/have a good will damage rune that I can use to improve my bjr5. I was able to grind for c1 in both arena and rta. My fastest set is around +200 will swift on Tiana. Do you think this is a good recommendation?
These slots seem pretty safe and comfortable overall. You could also choose rage cd slot 4, but will is fine either way. (The rage set is a consideration due to 4 piece vs 2 piece, but on Bale and other damage dealers you can always run will + anything)
Also for 400 days +200 spd swift will tiana is very fast, gz!
what are your thoughts on a special dungeon (potentially a dimensional hole dungeon) that has a large variety of rune types but ONLY of a specific slot.
like they would all have the same types of runes, but maybe one dungeon would be slots 1 and 2 only. then another would be slots 3 and 4, and the last one would be slots 5 and 6?
Other games have this (Artery Gear) and it genuinely didnt seem to be that much better of a system than what we currently have. Tbh, in that game it almost felt worse because youre always chasing a specific one slot instead of everything gradually getting better.

I mentioned crit rate and crit damage at the same time and even specified the substats you would take for them.

@@inventorofsalt Crit rate slot 4 on Rev/Desp is for Verde, Oracles, Ponies. Crit Damage would be Will/Violent generally. If you're looking to build laika it's most likely Violent/Vampire and Will/Destroy/Nemesis
If Laika is your love, then go for it. If not, I dont think Laika is that good right now.

I hope he will do fine in the right setup...I plan on using him in arena defense with leo and making him very tanky 2x hp%+ crit dmg slot 4 with very efficient runes.
With hp lead etc. I hope he can be a threat while being very hard to kill.
@@inventorofsalt Doesn't that kind of defeat the entire point of his passive? If you build him with that much hp he won't really be able to do damage, even if you have 0 speed to make up for other stats.

Fight runes would be more worthwhile tbh, or rage for your verde. The determination runes you use early on dont need to be good at all.

Honestly this is the best event to get those rift runes fight determination enhance etc, runes that very time and energy consuming and expensive to craft and you only need 1 particular rune type to complete your team. you will farm that like months and will just settle for less stat... everything he said is really correct dont get a rune that your expecting to reap it at the end

I know im terrible at rng and this event will give me 4 runes roll into each and mostly gonna low roll 😂
We get both of these events throughout the year. The +6 will likely be back at Anniversary time

You are overvaluing will runes. In RTA, the meta for a while now is to not have everything on will and use revenge and nem much more often. For siege, it was always destroy > all.
Will runes are still extremely valuable and useful, in lower ranks to push from c1->c3 it's really efficient to run full will. It stops being as relevant when you push G1+ and people have better drafts and setups.
For Siege, Its server dependent but will is incredibly good for offense and specific defense/defense units.
I think violent is still the superior option as it's a 4 set, but more people farm violent than they do will.
@@OnceInLuv Obviously vio is still the most important, I'm talking about 2-sets. The best argument for will is that you probably farm necro the least if you mostly do RTA. You probably farm Ellunia tho.
My point is just that will is stil being recommended as being the most important 2-set, and that's just not correct imo. With some new units introduced, buffs to old units and some old units coming into the meta, revenge is now the best 2-set imo, while nem and will are tied as secondary.
@@omgopet You'll also have better revenge runes by default having farmed DB12 for Violent runes (or reapp targets), so even if you were to decide on a 2 set to craft, it wouldn't be Revenge as you'd likely have what you want already, or atleast at a better quality than Will, and there's only so many sets you'd need (while it ends up requiring less overall cause even if you used 1:1 vio sets, you'd only need half the runes).
i am 100 days in, I really want to make runes for my lushen (dungeon teams) is it fine to go for a rage or swift crafts for lushen?
Rage or Blade Slot 2/4/6, probably 4/6 since theyre more flexible. The rage and or blade runes can be used for bjr5 in the future as well if you move them off your lushen
I was thinking about Rage rune Slot 4 Crit Damage with Crit Rate, Attack%, Speed and 1 other stat for one of my damage dealers like Baleygr. I am seriously lacking a rage slot 4 crit damage. Need at least 1 and it would be insanely helpful over all the crap i currently have on this account.
Totally fine to take for progression :)
