Vinh my man. I just came back from a presentation in front of my CEO. in the preparation days I resort to your channel, learning the tips and lessons. I then try to apply as much as I can fathom. the verdict and feedback from today were positive. I truly thank you.

Pure gold. I was cribbing today about bad laptop camera and then came across this video.
Lover the concept of social space in video calls.

This Q&A session is really beneficial. Maybe better than many of the educational ones. Keep it up! You are doing very good job.

That's a perfect description of a real safe space. Where words and open dialog aren't bad and truth is openly sought regardless of personal emotions.
If someone isn't truth or open, they are often worse than someone who is being malicious but honest.

Once again. Pure gold. I often think that I come off very wankerish when I'm just trying to sound confident. Especially when around other very type A's, which is often and mostly, I want to feel like I fit in and that I belong there.

Had this on my 'watch later' list. So glad I watched it finally, as it's awesome. Thanks once again for sharing your tips and how well you manage to communicate energy/tone/mindset through your speaking. Really grateful to have this for free :)

Hello Vinh! I must tell you that you're such an inspiration. Can you please recommend an external camera and external mic? Thank you so much. My dream is to to be able to train by you in person.

Dude! What camera do you use for your videos? The quality, distance, and angle is just right.

00:00 🎥 Adjust your camera angle to show your whole midsection, allowing for more dynamic body language in online communication.
01:10 📏 Understand proxemic positions: appearing too close on camera can make others uncomfortable, while showing more of your torso creates a socially comfortable space.
03:39 🎙 Invest in external camera and mic for better audiovisual quality in online communication, enhancing the impact of body language and vocal dynamics.
05:56 🗣 Confidence should stem from humility and openness to learning, rather than superiority, to avoid sounding arrogant in communication.
07:49 🔄 Use melody in speech to convey confidence without arrogance, balancing volume with intonation.
09:45 💬 Create a safe environment to ask for feedback on communication, encouraging honest reflection and improvement.

Hey Vinh, thanks for the video!
How do I relearn to love something again?
Over a decade ago I started writing this enormous fantasy story that I would need at least three life times for to finish.
It was really fun growing the story. Slowly I started dreaming more about the finished first book than continuing to expand it. Now it's really hard having an extended writing session at all. Any tips? Thank you!

I have a question on camera meeting and ugh - recordings. I recently listened to a few where I was speaking and well I don’t like it. I know the recorded voice sounds different and my voice in real life is actually different for others in comparison to what I hear but …. Is there any specific specialist that can teach me how to speak ? I mean voice modulation and what I would say way of speaking? So soaking more on toned , deep, slower and more in a mesmerising way basically? I have a few people that I would like to mimic and I have tried to do it on my own but seems I am not able to replicate it and I need a teacher 🤓 I basically think I sound squicky and harsh but as a woman I would like to speak in more feminine ways/voice? I tried looking in the internet but I found only speech therapists about stutter. I deliver a lot of trainings and I do a psychotherapy and I really see a difference on how this can improve my interactions with patients and increase training engagement 😮😮😮 I really want to be better

Good info and energy. Likeable guy. However - this can be greatly improved. Watch this video and note the numerous glasses hikes, shirt hikes, nose taps/swipes. These are distracting. Good speakers need to become aware of these ticks in themselves. Get feedback from others so you start to become aware of these unconscious movements and learn what to do instead.
