Müsing - The new generation of carbon fiber bows

The Müsing bows for string instruments are a small, technical revolution. 🎻🎶
They are made using a technology that has never existed before in bow making and with which only very few products are made.
There are several reasons why we started developing the Müsing bows in the first place - in addition to our very successful line of Arcus bows:
- Pernambuco wood (from which wooden bows are usually made) has been a protected species since 2007 and is only available in very small quantities.
- Musicians around the world need good bows in a medium price range. But as less and less wood is available, good bows become more and more rare.
- Arcus bows would be an alternative, but: The production of the Arcus bows is incredibly difficult and the costs are quite high, therefore we can only produce them in small quantities, which, however, cannot satisfy the demand for good bows in the medium price segment.
The Müsing bows provide a solution to this problem.🥳
High-quality carbon bows, comparable to really good wooden bows which (due to new technology) can be produced in large quantities and thus meet the great demand.

J’ai fait l’achat d'un c3 il y a quelques mois. Il m’à vraiment aidée même si j’ai un petit niveau, avec mon violon d’étude.
J’ai du mal avec la corde de sol... mais moins avec le c3. J’avais les cordes warchal ambre et maintenant j’ai monté des larsen tzigane. Je pense ça fonctionne bien avec le musing c3.

I love my Müsing C3. I've been using it for the past 2 years, and it is a joy to play--easy to control, with a wonderful sound fitting my warm violin. I'm hoping to eventually upgrade to a C5 or possibly T-series, though really the C3 hasn't let me down in any way.

Great to hear. I sure hope the C3 will never let you down, but you might still want to try a C5 or some Arcus T6 etc and see what it does to your sound. Chances are you will really like it.

Wonderful videos Mr Müsing. I , as well many others, admire your work and passion for this works of art.I recently was able to get my hands on a Müsing C4 and really love it. It would be wonderful if maybe in the future there could be a trade-in path to reach into the higher tiers. I think this would definitely set you apart of any other bow brands that may have flashy marketing but wouldn’t expect their bows to have a good resale value.

Hi, we actually offer an upgrade service to our customers here in Europe and I know that many of our dealers worldwide do the same. We only charge for the necessary repairs and otherwise credit the original purchase price against a higher up model. We have made such upgrades with hundreds of players already. Do talk to your dealer once you are ready for the step up.
