Question of the Day: How far have you traveled for medical treatment (Dr. appointments, procedures, surgeries)?

Thank you so much for sharing! I am having a laparoscopy procedure as well and flying about five days after. I’ve been pretty anxious about it but so glad to know it’s not too difficult!

I flew about 3 days after my laparoscopic procedure and about a week after my open procedure. I let the airline know and was provided with a wheelchair to help get around the airports. I was also allowed to board first so I could take my time and get comfortable and not have to stand in line. (We flew Southwest). I hope this helps! 💜 - Alyssa
