So, I am a 30 yo PhD medical anthropology student obssesed with Skyrim and currently in one of those phases when the only thing i would like to do is just play. It is amaizing how helpfull these videos have been. im about to link your videos in the dedication of my thesis lol
31 yo PhD in Music Therapy working on an emerging theory on how people use music in their daily lives .... this does help me productively and therapeutically.
totally feel you! I'd love to throw away my pc and stop working on my PhD in family law to run freely up and down Skyrim. This videos are the key to survive the last month before deadline🐾🐾🐾
Dont mean to interrupt you workd, but...what the heck is medical anthropology, and how did you become interested in it? The only thing that comes to mind is reading Herodotus talking about how the people of Babylon dealt with sickness (a fascinating account, as much of his Histories are).
A future English Teacher here, currently 20 years of age and studying to become an awesome teacher supporting my students one day. Spent six hours reading with minor breaks during the last two hours yesterday. Was reading stuff on how to teach and different people like Vygotsky, Socrates and Dewey, Bröler etc. Super interesting stuff but a lot to read. We’re talking like 10 pages an hour. Regardless, these videos have helped me tons on remaining focused. Taking smaller breaks at times for my brain to recuperate. :) Ngl, was afraid I was the only one, good to know I’m not alone using these to study. Haha.
I'm studying the Black-briars secret recipe to mix with mine so that I can open up my own well-known distinguished Inn in the northern realm. Wish me luck!
I seriously love Skyrim. I been playing it since around release date when I was 9 years old and I always find myself coming back to it at least once a year. I am currently on that yearly phase right now and everything from the intriguing lore/gameplay, to the simple yet astounding soundtrack shown in this video has a magical feel that no other game has provided for me. Thanks for the upload, I appreciate it. I am utilizing it for studying lol.
I’m using this to help set the mood as I’m reading The Lord of the Rings trilogy for the first time and this is SO perfect for it! Just left The Shire-on to Rivendell! Good luck to you all and I hope whatever you’re working on brings you joy and happiness! Happy New Year, OP! 💍⚔️🐉🌋
Not studying, but working. And these vids helps a lot with the ADHD side of my brain. Thanks, this is awesome!! Skyrim is the best for studying or redacion work.
I am currently working on my masters. I LOVE Skyrim and currently I'm going through one of those periods where I want to start a new character and sink a week into it. Alas, between work and school, I just don't have the time. Actual playthroughs are distracting to have playing in the background, but this is perfect! Plus, ir reminds me to get up and take a break every little while. Thank you for posting these.
Love the remark on having to take a break every now and then and how the video alerts us to that. you're so right. It's exactly what I need to remind myself of too very often, as I tend to end up hyper focusing and forgetting my every need 😀
Cultural Geography. Basically, it's how culture is affected by spatial relations, as well as how to identify cultural traces. It's extraordinarily fascinating, really. These videos have really helped! I've done the pomodoro method before, but this format is by far the easiest to stay on-track with.
love these vids man, I am currently studying British history to it. You should do one of these study videos on top of a Skyrim mountain with a view!! Keep up the great work.
I cannot thank you enough for these. I am so bad about giving myself study breaks in a productive manner, and these videos, with the build in study breaks, are incredibly helpful. Was working on biochemistry stuff tonight. Got it done thanks to your help! I may not have actually played skyrim, but I've watched my older brothers play it when I was around 12-13 (One let me have a go. Was a little squeamish about the violence. Might be semi more ok with it now, 7-8 years later, but IDK), and I LOVE with the music. Streets of Whiterun and Secunda are definitely some of my favorites.
I follow you to studies! I am a healer, a registered nurse, working towards by bachelors, and your skyrim study sessions are by support. Thank you for what you do!
Grinding a 50 page Naval Architecture report! These videos rock! Pushing me through this 9th Inning Stretch... Bard's Leap Summit looking out would go hard...
What a Joy you have created! I have used the music of Skyrim in the background when I am reading You have brought it to life! With that, I am reading: "The Theology Of Joy: Jonathan Edwards and Eternal Happiness In The Holy Trinity" ✝️🙏✌️
Can't tell you how much I love these. Have literally been using them everyday since I found them. Round 4 of exams and finals are coming up. Please keep making these!
Wow...just wow, thank you so much for this, there's this exam I've been preparing for, since 2 years and now its the time to make the final lap and all of a sudden, I just didn't feel like studying, faced so much resistance to even read a single line, interpret a single question and (being a Skyrim lover) this helped a LOT!
you're a genius bro your video is very good i love this game so much it's the game of the century and in skyrim you can even study all the day and you will not feel tired
This is AWESOME! I am a functional nutritionst with an online private practice. Listening while I update client protocols and do some admin work! Thank you!
Found your channel this morning and I've been using it all day at work! I sit at a desk most of the time and this has helped tremendously. Looking forward to more videos like it!❤
I'm so glad I found this!! It's delighting me while I copyedit some heavy stuff. I've tried Harry Potter Pomodoro videos but I find that I get distracted and always go back to listening to Skyrim. I've done that for years, since my husband first started playing the game when it came out. I don't know what I'd do without this soundtrack, especially the atmospheres. This is brilliant, though, with the little touches of the level-up sound when break is over and when you have a warning when break is almost over, and the ambient sounds in the background. Thank you so much for this.
Love these. Studying education at the moment and in my spare time playing Skyrim. Easier to study with ambient music in the background that actual music. Thanks mate :)
Studying artefact reconstruction for archaeology has never felt so awesome! Wishing I could find some old dwemer ruin to delve into in sunny Yorkshire.
Latest info I read is Skyrim 6 is around 2027-2028. 4 more years. I actually am only maybe 10% way through Skyrim 5 so it's a perfect timeline as there is so much to do and accomplish. Never ending quests and places to explore. So no need to be anxious. Enjoy all that S5 has to offer and before you know it, it will be here.
These past two weeks i was searching for perfect skyrim ambient/lofi playlist or vid to study and concentrate , and just found these awesome sessions, keep going on man ! (ps. preparing for DB and OS exams in IT course).
These are amazing and so perfect! The ambiance and the bits of characterisation you put in just make it perfect. I am currently studying the Pahtophysiology, Pharmacology and Nursing Managment of the Integumentary System (Skin), wound healing and pressure injury!
dude i come here everytime i have to study something, today i need to study the story of art (Leon Battista Alberti) i love this video and i will come here in future, love from Italy
i listen this all the time while im working..thank you so much for bringing all this together, it's a therapy for those who wandered the hills, forests of the skyrim
I love this. I'm not actually studying, I'm writing for my creative writing class, but the little breaks help me pause and look over my work :) The little touches with the sound effects and the text boxes are really cool. Thanks!
I would really love to play Skyrim❤ have started playing Oblivion, every time I listen to its playlist, my heart melts😢 I think it’ll explode if I play Skyrim😂🩵
I love this! I'm using it as I try to finish my project for nanowrimo. I've tried other videos like this, but this skyrim one you've created is the best. I love the sound effects too.
By the Nine Divines, thy kindness has not gone unnoticed. May the winds of Sovngarde forever be at thy back, Dovahkiin. Gratitude is yours!
