I love Elenor and she knows she’s special even if the heard ignores her. She’s always ready for her treats. I hope Lumpy gets help from the vet.
Elenor knows she has a human friend!
🤠🦬
She a real beauty, dear lumpy really hope he can get help.
So happy about Lumpy going to the vet. Have you set up a go fund me page to help with your expenses? Every little bit might be a help, even if it’s for gas. Thanks for sharing your amazing process❣️
Thank you god bless
Dunbar, Lumpy & Elenore are the best! Def have to keep those 3 they're the faces of the Ranch! Should let Lumpy & Elenore have their own little pen & pasture!
I’m worried that people are bonding with Lumpy. He isn’t a normal rescue. What is best for Lumpy might not be what some subscribers will be happy with. Surgery if even possible would be a huge expense for this young family to take on. Each bison on the ranch has a purpose. For breeding, for selling or for meat. Where would he fit in the plan?
Maybe they could become a couple? ;-)
Inn addition to those Bison, I like Big Joe. He's an attitude bull. He's it and he knows it. I'm glad he has the bigger herd this go round. Is this the first time being used as stud at the farm?
@@sharontracy2151 Very well said. That is the absolute truth. Maybe the Univ will do it as a teaching project for the vet students? I hope that Dusty is not forced to accept a hugs bill for taking care of Lumpy. Dusty you should start a Gofundme page for Lumpy. You have so many devoted fans who love what you are doing for our National Animal, that you should be able to cover any out of pocket expenses. Love what you and your family are doing, and absolutely love Brooke your daughter. Thank you for sharing your family life with us. God bless you all.
Thhank you for sharing the life of the bison and how you take care of them. sometimes these bison are bison Sometimes they act like little children. it take a villiage to raise these bison. Lumpy is back home for now.No place like home when we are sick. Thank you for sharing the life of these Great Bison. take care and be safe. your Friend Betty from Kentucky.
Thank you for making the effort in regard to Lumpy. I appreciate how you care for the animals, I get so angry when people say “they’re just animals”. I stopped watching one channel due to his indifference toward his goats. Thanks for being compassionate to them.
Right on to that you are right about all that God bless
Eleanor has you wrapped around her little hoof!
Eleanor is very tame now ! Poor Lumpy, I hope some relief can be brought to his misery. Thank you to take him to the vet.
Thats good to hear for Lumpy, hope they can do something for him.
Eleanor is not just a fan favorite- she’s spoiled! She’s so sweet and smart!
Lumpy and sweet Eleanor are my personal favorites 💕
Thanks for addressing the pecking order with Eleanor and Lumpy. Many of us worry they would be hurt by bullies like Lumpy was. A pleasure watching your videos and the truly meticulous care of your herd. Great Lumpy is heading to the Vet. Who’d thunk a Bison would be in our prayers? 🥰
It’s good that Lumpy might get some help! Eleanor is so sweet!
Keeping Lumpy in my prayers
Sweet Elinor is so beautiful and lo especially her cakes (treats)
God bless you 🙏
Just love Eleanor!!! Thanks for all the news. Lumpy, will look forward to that.
Just put the rock inside the bag no need to tie it. Can't wait for lumpy's vet visit
Exactly what I was thinking. Rick inside the Bag with the Barley would hold it down. God Bless and Peace from WV
You’re just like my hubby, The Drummer. Hahaha. He always points out the obvious and then I feel dorky. He also loves to tease me….like when I went to the auto parts store for windshield wiper fluid and he told me to pick up blinker fluid, too. Yes. Yes I did ask that guy at the store for it. The whole place busted up.
I did get even. 😂🥰
@@drummerlovesbookworm9738 Oh my gosh!! Hillarious! How did you get back at him?
@@drummerlovesbookworm9738 I want to know too 😆
@@drummerlovesbookworm9738 Yes, we all want to know that one...LoL
God Bless you for caring enough for Lumpy to see if any help is available for him to become a healthy young Bison.
Yah, so glad for poor lumpy. I’m just so glad he has you.🙂💙
Thank you for taking care of Lumpy, I know he’s a strain on your resources but you are kind hearted..
Love love love Eleanor an Dunbar. I worry that Big Joe takes some of the attention off Dunbar that he deserves. Sorry but I’m the softy for Dunbar 🥰
I'm *so pleased* to hear you are trying to get surgery for Lumpy! I think a lot of your viewers were really rooting for this, and it was wonderful to hear that you are willing to go to the trouble, Dusty. Also thanks for the lovely footage at the end of you feeding Eleanor. I think she is my favourite - she is really like a pet, isn't she? :-)
I'm SO happy to hear Lumpy is getting looked at! Hernia's can become really dangerous, especially in animals. Having it tended (IF surgery is an option) can REALLY prolong his life and more than that his quality of life (unless your plan is to eat him). Poor booger.
On a side note yeah, the limp could most certainly be connected to the strain from the hernia, VERY likely actually and if this is the reason it would be saying that the hernia is taking its toll. I'm glad he's being seen to. I wish you both the best at the Uni!
Question for you Dusty. Instead is trying to tie a rock to the barley bag, why don't you put the rock inside the mesh bas with the barley?
Brilliant!
That's what I do with my barely bags in my fish pond. Works really well.
@@jenniferwest939 how big is your pond. And how many do you use in it
@@jeanetteapsey8685 8ft x 6ft I use 2.
Thanks for the update on Lumpy!
Always love the updates !! Bison are all looking great . Babies are starting to show the darkness on the faces and they look so pretty ! Big Joe eating out of your hand up close look just fascinates me !! Such a beautiful beast ! As for Lumpy ... I hope you get good news on him , he does look better ! Keep up the great job ..
I like how all the bison had an "I could care less" attitude and pretty much ignored you interacting with Elanor, until you brought out a treat. Then they all changed and with, "oh there's cake? I like cake! Hello Boss Dustin!, I love you man; got any more cake?"
It is a treat to see these beautiful Buffalo up close. When I traveled the states I would only see them from a afar! ✌️🌻🌻
Kudos to you for providing care for Lumpy and an education to future vets regarding the care of the American Bison. Please consider a Go To Fund for Lumpy, you will be a good steward of those funds and an advocate for the breed. Do not be too proud to take a little piece of love from all of those interested in your work. Dunbar, Big Joe Eleanor, Popcorn, his mom and all the members of the herds know the score....you are a keeper. Let us help you help them. Sincere best wishes for you and your family. Happy Holidays!
Yeah .. great news for Lumpy. Elenore is such sweetie. Big Joe enjoyed some treats. He seems to be pretty respectable to you. Give love, gets love. Might take a little time, but when you build that trust, that trust will never be broken. You need to get a picture of Big Joe head 45 angle and full body and head. He is so amazingly handsome and should be on t-shirts, mugs and 8x10 framed pictures.
So happy that Lumpy is getting examined. Praying for the best outcome. I love that you spoil Eleanor and appreciate your work in caring for these beautiful animals.
Hello there from Canada every chance I get I watch your videos and your wonderful work you do with these animals it’s so nice to look at them and I’d love to see you how are you so passionate with them it is so shame actually that they are eventually be food for people but damn I wish they could all live forever and you could take care of them because you have a heart and soul I could tell into these animals love to see you and then I joy every minute of your videos you are passionate and loving person it’s so nice to see you with your family together I love that tie you know almost all the animals name off my heart eventually I think I will catch up and try to memorize them also as you go on which one is which is so nice you cannot believe how nice to see these animals from the outside point of you I know you see it every day but for us it’s very special I’m sure all the viewers believe it that much love and all the best success in your life❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤It’s Kaitlyn from Canada
Prayers for Lumpy, Eleanor is a doll baby no wonder you like spoiling her
Dusty I think that it's awesome that you are taking Lumpy to the Vet at the College for a scan. I appreciate the fact that you are going above and beyond to help Lumpy if possible. Just transporting and keeping him all of this time is more than most Farmers would have done. I can't wait for the upcoming videos with Lumpy.
Thank you for sharing.
Stay happy, healthy, hydrated and safe. May God continue to bless you and your family.
My Grandchildren and I just love watching your Bison channel as we see all the hard work and dedication you and your family do everyday as it’s looks like it’s a 24 hour & 7 days a week operation! We just love Elenor!
Good things going on at the ranch❣️
Love to see all the babies growing, taking care of those pesky flies, Lumpy being looked at and Eleanor getting some TLC, thanks Dusty for your stewardship of these animals- it’s a good life💖🥰
Love your channel Dusty! .....and your extended family also. We hope for good results from OSU! Fellow Okie from BA. Thanks for your videos and support of the American Bison! God bless you sir!
Praying the vet can help Lumpy!
Me too, he's 2nd to Eleanor ❤
🤗🤗. So excited with all the news especially with progress of Lumpy. Wonder about the stress loading him up. It’s a lot for him to go through. That limp isn’t good as with any large animal with a problem. That Redmond’s with garlic has been a hit everywhere so just give it time and certain it will work better than the spray. Hoping Eleanor has a baby cus be neat to see if she will still be like a pet to you and share her baby with you. You’ve come so far with building the herd and a relationship with them. You’ve got pictures of them that are superb and videos just being themselves where we feel like we’re right there with them. Glad to see the hat and certain they like it too. As always great video and seeing your love for them and hear your plans. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I love watching Eleanor...what a gentle Bison. That's the first time I have seen you so close to one of the Bison. Eleanor was the perfect lady. Thanks for sharing Dusty. ❤🙏
Hi Dusty glad to hear your taking Lumpy to see a vet. Hopefully they can help him with a better quality of life. Every animal deserves a chance to live out there life as far as they can. Can't wait to hear. I love eleanor and her upclose videos. She is such a beautiful bison with a good temperament. Glad you give her some extra love and attention. I would spoil her too. Thanks for sharing and taking such good care of your bison. Your babies are growing up fast.
Thank you for sharing all updates on the herd, especially on lumpy and elenor. Elenor is a sweetheart.
So happy to hear that Lumpy with the vet. Glad to hear you're going to keep heifer calves to grow your herd. Love to watch and learn about the bison from your videos. Love you guys. 🥰❤❤🦬🦬🦬

Good news about lumpy, thank you. I love watching the buffalo. Eleanor is soooo sweet.
YOU ARE THE BEST JUSTIN!! God just SMILES when we take care of the animals!! All you can do is help these magnificent animal that have almost been killed off!! All the best to you and lumpy on your journey!!
Thanks for caring about Lumpy!
Love to see good farmers that actually take care of their animals !! 😍
So thankful that Lumpy will be evaluated at Oklahoma State to see if there is any hope for possible repair of hernia.
Dusty you are so compassionate and your loves is so visable for your herd.
Thank you for taking care of Lumpy. 🤗 We care about Lumpy's feelings. ❤️
Thank you for this video never needed it more! This is what America is all about!
Love the ending Dusty ,that sweet Eleanor come right up to you! She really is a gentle soul.
Love Eleanor....She loves your treats and attention.
Thank you so much dusty for taking lumpy to the vet clinic i pray that they can fix his hernia and go back to the rest of the herd abd coporate he will fill so much better thank you dusty god bless you
So happy Lumpy is going to checked at Oklahoma State. Hoping for good news. Eleanor is a true Bison sweetheart. Missed seeing beautiful Mya the awesome bison dog. Keep up the great work, Dusty. Love your videos
Use Barley straw also works in big fish tanks just use a small whole bale . Put straw into a Christmas tree stocking. Weight one end, straw will float use milk cartoons as floats in stock .
I bet if you did a daily Lumpy's Progress series of videos the Views would pay for a bit of his treatment. Lumpy has his fans just like the big fellas. Did you ever discover where he came from?
Those guys wallowing look like my dog when he finds a rotting raccoon in the woods (before he rides home with me in the truck.)
The bulls have so much personality, but that's true with all intact male animals which is why I love stallions and intact dogs. Castrating makes them tamer but it takes away a lot of their natural spirit as well.
So great to see how quickly the herd is growing. You're doing awesome, Dusty.
Praying for lumpy hopefully you can get him well Eleanor is the baby Dusty thank you for videoing these wonderful babies love from Arkansas
Thanks for loving Elenor!! Human or animal it's hard to be rejected!!💞💓💞
So happy that Lumpy is going to go to the vet. and glad you will let us go along.
Definitely good news for Lumpy. I hope they can do something to help him.
Aawww sweet Eleanore! I just love her!
I used barley bags in my fish pond. Kept the green out.
Sweet Eleanor! Bless it! And I will seriously be praying that Lumpy will get helped by the vet. These bison just make me happy!
I love Eleanor!! You need to put her on one of your t- shirts. 😊 Good luck with Lumpy!❤
As someone who has rescued many animals, the “free ones” always cost the most! Love that you are going the extra mile for Lumpy and not just putting him down! I’ve used barley bags for many years and think they really help also they do better if they can bob around a little
So glad to hear lumpy is going to the vet!
Thank you Dusty for taking us on your journey
So happy for Lumpy. He's a handsome one. Eleanor is a sweetie.
Did you see the @Walker Farm Family's gorgeous handmade wood OU Sooners bench from Altruistic Homestead? It's stunning.
Hope everything goes well for lumpy that kind of broke my heart when I seen that but you guys take really good care of your bison 🙏🏻♥️
Special love and hugs to Lumpy and Eleanor. Positive happy energy sent to Lumpy's vet appointment. Love watching your channel and your beautiful herd.
Dusty, Bison look so content..
Great job 👏 👍

Eleanor and her cookie jar😁
So glad to hear that Lumpy is getting checked out, I hope they can do something for him, If their was a go fund me to help Lumpy many of the viewers are here to help ( if we all pitched in a little will go a long way) We would do anything to help him live a normal life. So excited to hear up date on Lumpy.Oh and that sweet Miss Eleanor just love her and Dunbar.
GLAD to hear the vet will look at lumpy for his best life! Love our girl Eleanor! TFS
Thank u for ur awesome video of the great Bisin and are Lumpy I pray they can help Lumpy . U are doing a great job raising these awesome.
I'm so glad to see you spoil Eleanor a little bit. I feel bad for her but as long as she's strong and healthy that's all she cares about.
It will be interesting to find out if they can help Lumpy at all. Maybe they can check out his limp while he is there too. I'm anxious to see how they keep him still to do the ultrasound. I would imagine some sort of sedation. Good luck and safe travels!
Put the rock inside the bag. Love Lumpy getting some care. The you Dusty. U are a good man
No matter what I hope u keep lumpy let him live out his life
Thank you for taking lumpy to the doctor we sure do enjoy him hope he gets better keep him in my prayers and your family and I know I've said it on every comment I hope you never have to sell them for meat!? God bless 🖤❤️🌹🖤🌹❤️🌹🖤🌹❤️
Thank you so much for all the updates, I look forward to hearing about the next step with Lumpy. Thank you Dusty and Marisa. Take care and God bless..
Eleanor is my favorite Bison. If I haven't already told you. I love her! Heart Heart Heart heart!
Thank you for taking care of Lumpy ❤️
What a good girl Eleanor is!. Prayers for Lumpy!
Looks good. You might want to add a tag with the color or number of the father to your heifers. That way you can make sure you are breeding to the best possible male for the health of your heard. Maybe devise a horn ornament, or a color on the horn. A stripe or some way to distinguish them. It would also make sense to get a third pasture ready to support another male down the road. You have a nice ranch.
Dusty, should you ever want to spray the weeds out of your fenceline, you can use Crossbow. It's a pasture spray that has no grazing restriction unless it's a dairy animal. I just sprayed my fences and saw some broad leaves there by your stock tanks.
I hope Lumpy gets a good outcome 😊. Elenore is a sweety 💞, she knows how to get close to you for treats 💟. Big Joe is so gentle to be as big as he is. The younger Dunbar appears a little more active. 💙
Yay for Lumpy! Great news. Yes, take us along.
Hope things will work for lumpy
I can’t imagine having the job of giving a bison an ultra sound 😲. I like Lumpy and I hope they can help him. I’ll be rooting for him.
Eleanor is adorable. I think I’d spoil her a bit too. 😊
Thanks for always sharing the herd looks great they sure wait for you to give them their treats.wishing all the best for lumpe.
Glad you keep an eye on Miss Elenore, she is one of a kind. Hoping Lumpy can be helped by the vets
Prayers for Lumpy.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Dusty…very nice video. Thanks for talking about Dakota. We thought she was pregnant in 2021 but apparently she missed. Hope she continues to get better and will do better in 2022
Yeah Oklahoma State. Praying for Lumpy. I know OSU, is one of our best Veterinarian colleges. I love the whole Herd.
Love your video. Keep up the great work 👍
