So one of the mods I found on Thumpertalk mentions this. >>The first thing to do is to open up the airbox. The stock air intake is a tiny little slot that is only 3/4 of an inch wide by 2 1/2" long. It has a rubber boot stuck in it as well. Just removing the boot helps, but that is not enough. Don't be afraid to cut off the top-center of your airbox. I opened up a 3 1/2" by 2 1/2" rectangle on top and covered with course air conditioning filter element. This makes a night and day difference with air.
