Stories like Vince's Christmas gift are heart warming. One reason I like these post punk era synth bands so much, most of them are simply great people. Depeche Mode, Human League, Ultravox, Joy Division... they grew up as working class people in a different time, where everything was incredibly difficult compared to today. Pre-internet, pre-iPhone, beaten up at school... the human aspect was important, they had to look after each other.
I've got a full system 100, too. And was inspired by human league mkI to buy one. it's the second set ive owned, and this one is in better condition. Ive used it a lot for library stuff and also live ( yup) in the past, too. The complete system really is something else and feel lucky/blessed i've got one.
It was my first synth for stage back in 1978 and found it to be a pain in the bum to keep in tune, way to hard to use on stage, since then played a number or keyboard brands ,All I have loved but not the system 100 👹👹👹

Lovely fella.
Wow, fantastic interview...thanks
18:34 I'm looking forward to that new Heaven 17 album. 👽👍
Great interview, thanks for posting. Nice dodge on Analogue Vs Digital (given the product's obvious digital reliance) but I think we got the idea. :)
Zoolookuk Speak for yourself he didn't 'dodge' anything.
***** Listening to it again, I agree with you.

I must admit when it comes to choosing sounds, I'm lazy. I use presets.Sometimes layered.
Didn't Jack Dangers own the very same System 100 that was pre-owned by Human League?
