  • Wrapping is so much harder than it looks and it takes a lot of patience. The more I wrap the better I get, but it's still not easy lol.
    The hood, driver side fender, door, and quarter panel are done in this video. Stay tuned for part 2! Enjoy :)

    Too late to learn wrapping ☺, I just repaint my Celica from silver as you car to GOLD metallic and it's looking really beautiful. Anyway you are good to do the things, 👍

    For the mirrors I have seen a trick where you get a barrel. Peel the vinyl and attach it to the top of the open barrel with the glue side up. Then really heat up the vinyl. Then you plunge the mirror into the heated vinyl and it wraps itself. I saw this being done with helmets and it works like a charm. The guys doing it were pros but it might be worth a try.

    • @equinoxgts
      @equinoxgts  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmm, the mirrors are already done at this point, but if the wrap on it fails I’ll give that a try, thanks for the tip! 👍🏽

    Great looking car. I have the same exact one, 01 gts. Except it was sold to me with many issues. So far its been a very big money pit. But props for the condition your car is in

      Very true. One question: mine has a head gasket leak towards the outside. Its not severe but my coolant is leaking out, however I'm also hearing a knock coming from the engine, so I think my internals are fricked. Any idea how much replacing a head gasket + Machining the head should cost me? I thought I'd ask since we share the same car, and I wouldn't want to get ript off

      I actually have no clue, I’m still learning so I don’t have much mechanical knowledge. Ask @corololololla on IG, he’s like the 2zz master.

    You should look at getting better squeegees. I don't think using your fingers is a great method.

    • @equinoxgts
      @equinoxgts  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree lol, I bought some 4.5/5 rated squeegee and they still scratched up the vinyl. Using my hands work but it just takes longer :P
