- A day out with the backhoe to provide some muscle on a job I'm working on with the 8026. I have come up against some really thick concrete that is too much for the smaller machine to break up so am bringing the JCB 3cx in for the day to make light work of it.

, great, job, happy, new, year, ollie
Nice little job with the Backhoe and breaker, good to see you keeping the 3CX busy and enjoying using it! I did a similar job with mine last week 👌
Good to see you making use of the 3cx, they’re handy machines. It’s always my first choice of digger unless I really can’t get it in a job 😁
I’d love to use mine more, it plays a big supporting role in my company but I’d love to have some more jobs to practice getting my hand in where it is the only machine on the job
Another great Video Ollie!
Be good to see more of your work on landscape sites! Thanks
I intend to do more in cab type videos of me working this year so should show more of the kind of work I get up to
Great job Ollie and great video 😊
Happy new year Ollie lad, all the best. Great upgrade with the mirrors 👌
It must be cold there if Ollie Gunns is in trousers 😂🩳
The shorts are in the wash but I have to say it is a bit nippy at the moment too😆
I prefer the Cat convex mirrors i had on my old one , then these new two piece ones , will swap them over eventually , i keep banging my head getting in the cab
I agree, on that Pro I had on demo I was hitting my head on the mirror, but I think inadvertently by using the original arms, they are mounted a bit higher and therefore out the way
When are you going to get an engcon for the 3cx?
I’m really in two minds about it. The weight and build height concerns me on the backhoe. It’s a machine that’s been very refined on a certain profile of bucket, even the quick hitch adds height that isn’t welcome on the way the backhoe works
That certainly makes sense, especially with the extending boom it’s probably not recommended. I imagine that’s why most of the Scandinavian backhoes have fixed length booms.
