Talking of getting the machine level for the front bucket. If you have the kingpost backactor in the centre, the machine is level. If the backactor is to the side, it will pull the machine over to one side slightly. Trick I used to use was have it centralised and swing the backactor to one side or the other and it would tilt the machine slightly.

This is perfect. Labor is the biggest cost in construction, by far. Anything you can do to reduce, and better utilize labor hours, increases profitability. Backhoes are perfect for this, even when their activating to use.

I would say that this is mostly good proof that one needs to have multiple machines, even if you are mostly a one man show.
