I really appreciate your videos! I bought a Mac and Logic Pro with your inspiration. I have a beat tracked out and the tracks aren’t going to the master, I would appreciate any information! Thanks again
Cant hear any difference at all, are you sure that the TH-cam clip did record the audio from the same channel that you are switching on/off in the video?
Isnt that gonna make the snare hit the limiter even harder and cause more DBs of gain reduction? Which will make u upper the threshold of the limiter and come back to where u started?

Beautiful song.
I’d much rather reduce the dynamic range with a clipper or such, so that the compressor / limiter doesn’t see it and clamp down on the snare hits
Streaky you always ROCK - Ty
Why would you not add this EQ to the drum bus rather than the master where it affects all tracks?
Wonderful
That’s a very nice tip! Thanks streaky! Ps that mix is beautiful! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
I always use your midrange expesion technique somewhere in that range and it usually brings up the snare as well

Very nice!
Nice. Thank you.
Great tips
Where can I find this song ? The vocal melody is very well crafted along with that synth.
Great tip
PRO!!
Isn't that pushing other instruments in that frequency range?
that's what I thought also
who gives a crap lol. you can so that on the drum bus. in fact you can use a clipper on the drum bus to prepare the drums for final limiter
Mids sound to pushed now
Very easy to lose the snare. Think I partially lost mine for a different reason yesterday.
Aren’t you exaggerating everything at 2.5 if you boost there? Not just the snare?
Yep! My thought exactly. Do this on the drum bus

yeah, I'll pay that. nice one
In my sessions, when i have to master a song, always, always the snare or clap...when i gain the limiter, telhe snare or clap is always very loud
Yeah it’s a pain..try this it works for me a lot 👍

No
@@Streaky_com what about using a clipper instead of a limiter
This is a good point without a good explanation
@@Streaky_comdont make tutorials on youtube pls, you dont even know what are you talking about
Yes in fact it is. You’re just pushing more signal into the limiter and it will reduce harder. Answer is to use a clipper before the limiter
Cool
Dont listen to this guy hahah, he put boost on full song to hear more snare in the master, omfg, youtube is scary place
Yeah seriously just mix the snare better if you have access to the mix
if it works it works

@@dsadasdawew32132 I guess this is a rough and dirty technique with some trade offs.
Sore thumb😂😂😂
