Crossing The Kalahari | Central Kalahari Game Reserve | Episode 3!

Many months of planning and co-ordinating went into this trip! @MyLifeinAfrica , @4x4ventures_southafrica , @GetOutGO and myself travelled to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve in Botswana with one ultimate goal. To cross the Reserve from North to South in 13 Days! Not everything went to plan but it certainly was an epic adventure and one I will never forget! In episode 3 we leave Sunday Pan and start our epic crossing of the Kalahari covering 360km's in 3 days with some tough road conditions and mechanical failures along the way. The highlight of this stretch was definitely Piper pan.

i have a feeling the 200 tyre was damaged by mophane tree branches ,its a very strong tree when dry next time be mindful of it, usually its left in the tracks by those who get stuck for traction! Great episode mate!

Please stop putting out this (great) content. I can't get any work done. LOL. Question: 1. Is your dash cover also made by Takla? 2. What jacks do you guys mostly use - OEM scissor type or bottle jacks? (or have both)
Thanks again Sean 🙌 the dash cover is made by Takla but is not in production yet. We generally use factory bottle jacks but also carry high lift and air jacks if necessary 🙌
@@EdwardBath I spent a small fortune at Takla with full seat covers, floor covering and a boot cover for my Everest 4x4. I'm sure they can make me a dash cover - for a fee obviously. I am avoiding the purchase of a high-lift jack as far as possible given the cost/weight/storage/risk/rare use and, no lift points on my Everest. I'd love to add a bottle jack but extendable ones are so hard to find (in Pretoria area). So far only a scissor jack with expander plate.
