Isiah is a snake and a predator that nobody wanted to play with, his coach was the DT coach and guess who wasn't on the squad? Mark Price was a very good player who was in the middle of the rise of the Bulls dynasty....he was just one of many exceptional players who had to find a spot in Jordan's shadow.
In my opinion, a prime Mark Price is a top 5 point guard of all-time. First, Price was easily one of the greatest shooters ever. I mean, 48% from 3 in his second season, c'mon now, that's ridiculous. He was also a great, underrated passer. People talk about Stockton to Malone but Price to Daugherty was deadly too. His ball handling and ability to split the defense on the pick and roll was second to none. His injuries hurt his career, no doubt but a healthy Mark Price was a super high level player, one of my faves ever. 💪
Let's not get carried away he's not top five. Top 12 maybe. He was a great player absolutely. But injuries really robbed him of what could have been. He's right along Steve Nash's probably the two greatest shooting point guards of all time Stockton's not far behind either. Mark Price is also basically credited with revolutionizing the pick and roll. His ability to split the pick and roll when the defender Switched Off what's one of the best weapons in his Arsenal and he was one of the few people who did it effectively. Much of the way he played what's a precursor today modern-day nba. His game was built for the way they play nowadays. He'd be putting up 25 plus a game. He was a tough capable Defender as well. He's much like Terry Porter. Both extremely capable generals out on the floor who are capable of putting together massive games if everyone decided to try to stop the superstar that night in focus more energy on them. Being Brad Daugherty and Drexler. As it stands I put him around 12:00 or so. He almost made the Dream Team even. He did make the second incarnation of the dream team, though. It's just too bad his career was cut short short because of injuries. If you would have been able to play full productive career I think he would be borderline top six to eight point guards all time

The fact that he got selected right after 92 for the Dream Team 2 teller us that Mark Price was a beast, considering the PGs for 92 team were Magic and Stockton.
Mark Price, my all-time favorite NBA player. Incredible player. Lucky for me to be in Cleveland and a huge CAVs fan. Injuries very much hampered his career. Would have been sure thing HOFer if he was on the court more. Kenny Anderson and Doc Rivers were tough matchups for Mark. Defense was not necessarily his strength. What a shame about the interview, the music is killing it, and I don't mean in a good way... Why?
It’s not that bad, I mean it could be a tad lower but it’s still a great interview.
@@Roc_Official I;m afraid I disagree , there shouldn't have been any music I just wanted to focus on the interview, if music has to played then before and after the interview. may be i'm old fashioned or may be because I have worked in the media - it showed disrespect to Mark Price -why? He gave BTM his time and the music was the centre piece .
This guy’s awesome and I love his program - but I couldn’t agree more on the distraction of the music. If you’re gonna have it - at least make it barely noticeable.
@@rickmemmer5625 I agree with you whole heartedly, I'm not an hater I love what he does - 90's is my era for basketball , it won't change I feel the music was superfluous.
@@27wesleylawson80 Got to agree on the music. I'd think those folks who don't mind or like it wouldn't miss it if it wasn't there. The ones that are a bit annoyed (like me) have a bit of a problem - so I would argue to either ditch or tone down the volume - not necessary. Good interview otherwise - I listen quite a bit to this fellow, and he always seems to bring back those memories!
Bring mark price he was great 👍
