I’m hoping you changed the batteries in that smoke alarm by now 😂
Nope just threw it out the window lol
How accurate do you think the temp rating is?
I've taken this out on every trip since this video uploaded. I would say it's pretty accurate. Anything less than 30 degrees I would recommend the foot box be completely sewn over (just like how mine is). If it's rated 0 degree I wouldn't take it below 10. Just a personal preference, of course for safety ;) thanks for watching!!!
Great video! Thanks for the info...I'm actually looking at purchasing one of these second hand. Do you know if yours has the standard 50inch width? I've heard that the standard width may be too narrow to use for ground sleeping, but I'm 5'4 125lbs, so I suspect I may be able to make it work. As someone who owns this quilt, any difficulty with drafts?
It is the standard width. Being 5'7" 145lbs it's not too narrow. I do both tent and hammock camping. Both have been pleasant enough experience to continue bringing on both types of trips. Since mine is a 0⁰ quilt I opted to have a sewn footbox to avoid any kind of draft. My personal preference would be anything above 30 I would have the open ended footbox. Thats just me though. Do what feels would be best for you! Thanks for watching!
@@travisbackpacks Thanks for the info, appreciate it!
Is this economy or premium? Any update after having it for awhile longer?
This would be the premium model. Probably should have mentioned that in the video, oops lol since I keep it in its original storage sack that it arrived in, I feel it's still in really good, if not excellent condition. Thanks for watching!
