Lovely diva Yep. Horror movies in the 70's-80's were the best of all of the time. Horror movies today are...... garbage. There trying to do something scary but nope, it's not working. Oh! i forgot! There is a genre of Horror movies i hate so much that i want do die. The "Found-Footage". I can't tell how garbage these movies are..
Hollywood needs to drain the swamp. Stop giving all jobs to big names and give the people who havent had an opportunity to prove themselves in. They put so much into the costs of movies these days that just dont need to be. That's why companies like netflix, youtubered and prime will start taking over.
If someone hasn't mentioned it before, the movie was filmed at Camp Daniel Morgan in Hard Labor Creek State Park, GA. I grew up near there and went to church camp there the year before and the year after they filmed this movie. I slept in the "counselors' cabin" (it wasn't actually for counselors). The walls still had a pinkish color where they had to sandblast the fake blood off. It was kind of sad that they obliterated about 40 years of kids' graffiti in the process. None of the movie stuff scared us. We thought it was cool. They also filmed a goofy comedy called Poison Ivy at the same camp (the one starring Michael J. Fox, not Drew Barrymore). That full movie is on youtube.
I am going down there this summer and going head first off of that dock. Its been on my mind for 20 years! Its time. Thank you for the inspiration ! From one huge Jason fan to another keep on rockin!!!!!
My favorite of all the Jason movies. It had a sense of humor, kick ass Alice Cooper soundtrack and Jason became an unstoppable undead monster instead of a guy in an Hockey Mask.
I've been to both of those locations. It was fun to see in person. For the record, the night cemetery scenes were filmed in a mock cemetery that was built in the middle of a field. That's why you can't find where his grave was in the real cemetery that was used for the daytime filming. Great video!
Part 6 was always my favourite as a kid! i was really surprised at how much of it all looks the same after 25 years,1986-2011...... Also i was very surprised to find that a few of the cabins were unlocked!!BONUS!!! Plus when your mrs went to walk into the lake, and it cut to her on the dock,i bet she thought it's too fucking cold for this shit!! Excellent video!
Enjoy the tour from a different perspective! Actually just got to go down there myself and get some content to put up on the channel had a really good time down there really cool stepping onto the set. Thanks for sharing your experience there.
I think i've seen Part 6 more than the others, classic film none the less, great to see you visit the locations of this film, are there any film locations you've wanted to visit but haven't been able to, love the videos, always a must watch.
I worked on the film. Jason's grave was in a building used as a sound stage in downtown covington ga. The construction crew jackhammered the concrete floor and dig the grave there.
Well played with this video mate! Quality to see how much of it still exists today. I'm from England and recently went on a locations hunt in LA to see streets from nightmare on elm st. and Halloween. Took me ages but was worth it!
Great stuff can't wait to see more, thanks for posting Friday The 13TH Part VI Jason Lives is one of my favorites from the series as well it's nice to revisit.
Awesome video Adam I am a huge fan of the Friday the 13th series and I just wanna say thank you for sharing this and all your other videos..... I stayed up late last night watching all your videos and couldnt sleep until I was done watching them..... Keep up the great work!
That is just my opinion, I am a fan of the entire franchise and like every movie in the series, and watch them a few times a year. I'm also a fan of Adam's, and love his videos. Its amazing how he gets just about the same shots as they appear in the movies. His Sleepaway Camp Location video was filmed in the town I actually live in.
Great documentary. Part 6 is an ultimate slasher classic and surely one of the 3 best in the series. Part III is placed just outside the top 3, but it still is a nice sequal.
Gee, I wish I could see these locations in person and take pictures of my Jason figures in these places. I LOVE these crazy videos, you are the BEST Adam!!!!!!
Thank you for posting the clips that referred back to the movie Jason, bc I was planning on looking them on youtube when I got done watching this vid! lol You rock Adam.
This guy is very accurate with his locations. Friday 13th part 6 was flimed in Covington, ga. At a state park called hard labor creek in morgan county. Camp Daniel morgan is still there, It's use as a camp site for the state park. The old cabins are still there as well.
This video is awesome. Hopefully you make it to the rest of the friday the 13th filming locations and plus your an awesome dude. Keep the videos coming bro!
This is so awesome! This is the location I'd most like to visit from all of the Fri13-films. I'll definetely get here when Im visiting US in the future.
Wow man that was awesome and fun to watch, thanks for bringing back those good memories. I'm a hardcore Friday the 13th fan and would love to visit one of the filming sites one day.
Hey psl, it is a grea honor watch your video, it is so danm goo to see the locations movie, love it , Friday The 13th, all parts, tnks for up this mate.
Great video adam!!..Its really cool how everything looks almost exactley the same as it did when they filmed it..And even better that they filmed it in Georgia which is were i live..I need to go check that place out for myself
@adamthewoo im a huge friday the 13th fan i just sat and watched all of your videos today and i DO mean all of them lol great stuff man plus your fanny as hell ill be looking foward to more friday the 13th film locations from u dude plus all your abandoned vids to be safe bro
Being alone in the woods where the Friday the 13th movies were filmed at WOULD leave me with a creepy feeling too. Visions of Jason Vorhees coming out of the water or running amok thru the woods would be enough for me!!
A lot of the close up scenes were filmed on an old timber loading area just outside of town heading toward the park. I was in middle school when it was filmed. The cemetery were Tommy dug up Jason is an abandon grave yard from the early 20th century when the land was used for farming and homesteads is located on the park. You may remember the stone wall Tommy sat against to rest after he stabbed Jason with the fence picket. The intersection were Tommy squeals tires in the early part of the movie is at the entrance of the camp.
No, my dad was a fuddy duddy and would not make any arrangements to see any of the filming. The one scene I saw was when they were practicing the chase when Tommy was speeding to the cemetary but not the filming of it
Adam really thank you because I always asked myself how do the locations look today. You did an excellent work and I was excited when I watched it for the first time. I'm a huge fan of the franchise and this is a treasure. I'd love to visit the locations of part 6 and 4 (my favorites of the saga) It would be cool if you do a video with the house where Tommy kills Jason on part 4 just exactly like this one showing the past and present takes. Josep Zitto the director did a video :) AWESOME VIDEO!
Adam, I met Thom Mathews, Tommy Jarvis from part 6, at Days of The Dead Charlotte in May of this year. I specifically asked him where Jason's grave was located. He told me that they had to build a sound stage for that scene. Reason being is that the Old Madison Cemetery wouldn't let them dig on their property. I asked were it was and he couldn't remember. Lol
dude you are awesome I am a new scrubber to you I've been watching all your channels last couple days you took all my curiosity away now I know thanks I did want to know you showed me and told me that's awesome I appreciate all the hard work you doing
Good Video! It's so bizarre seeing the camp like that. In the movie it seems like each cabin is surrounded by woods and more isolated as opposed to being in the open like that. When you were running through the cemetery, you should have done the head & shoulders shot where Tommy tries to decide which direction to run. There's another locations video on youtube of a film that this same director directed prior to this called "One Dark Night." Good too!
Very cool video yall I am a fan myself.I did notice one flaw. When Sheriff Garret opened the cabin door it opened outward to the left and when you were there it opened outward to the right.Im sure its cause the door had been changed because it looked just like the movie every part and the way you edited to go back an forth to the movie scenes was awesome great work 10r
The shot where you see Jason's actual grave, and the associated scenes of him returning from the dead, were filmed in a movie studio. That's why there isn't an actual location for Jason's grave there, at the cemetery itself. The director mentioned this fact on the documentary; "The making of Friday the 13th Part VI."
I have actually. Because I used to go to the same camp in the films every year for a Scout event back when I lived in Jersey. I actually stayed in a cabin used during filming that is said to be haunted.
Yeah i used to cut grass out there. some of the cabins last time i was out there where all spray painted up with pentagrams and stuff. I expected it though.
A little something to note. CJ the guy who played Jason did the under water sceens in a Swimming pool. And he said in many interviews he was 25 feet under in this huge diving pool and they had divers down there with him handing him the ( CAN NOT THINK OF THE WORD THE END OF A SCUBA TANK THE GIVES YOU THE AIR!) .... Down there with him.
Great vid. Jason Lives was definitely one of the best entries, and arguably the best Friday post Part 4. Part 7 is also a fun watch, don't get me started on the New Line films, I find them all...unwatchable. Hopefully you can do some locations from the Halloween series, or the Nightmare series, etc. Though Nightmare might be a bit tough since I bet they were mostly set pieces.
They can't make movies like they did in the 80's ,they tried in the 90's not so well.
+Joni Gail I agree, and nowadays they keep tying to remake all these 80s classic movies and they screw them up..
+vintageceilingfans it says jinger vorheese
Lovely diva Yep.
Horror movies in the 70's-80's were the best of all of the time.

luthierwtb wooowwwwwww!!!!!!!! it's nice! :)
cool stuff
How cool! Never knew it was filmed here in GA.
luthierwtb Camp crystal is on nj! Most of the original filming was done in nj
I bet you could feel the history while being there!
😎
I bet not
Skol
I honestly love how they kept the camp so well made since the movie. Including the entire area.
"Jason is like a cat but he's got more than 9 lives. He's got like 147,000"
probably my favorite adam the woo quote
From what I've read the movie was filmed in Covington,Georgia. Cool place actually and worth checking out the filming sites.
I never thought I would be so into these videos! Thank you for all the work you have put into this..I love it!

This is seriously so cool! Thanks for putting so much effort into consistently delivering these interesting videos
I've been to both of those locations. It was fun to see in person.

Great video!
Have you ever thought of going to the filming locations for Nightmare On Elm Street films
Part 6 was always my favourite as a kid! i was really surprised at how much of it all looks the same after 25 years,1986-2011...... Also i was very surprised to find that a few of the cabins were unlocked!!BONUS!!!

My all time favorite horror series! I love your comparison shots and fact-toids!

I've had this classic on dvd for long time and it's one of my fave Friday movies. I'm so happy to see this.
Well played with this video mate! Quality to see how much of it still exists today. I'm from England and recently went on a locations hunt in LA to see streets from nightmare on elm st. and Halloween. Took me ages but was worth it!

Awesome video Adam I am a huge fan of the Friday the 13th series and I just wanna say thank you for sharing this and all your other videos..... I stayed up late last night watching all your videos and couldnt sleep until I was done watching them..... Keep up the great work!
I love the Alice Cooper song from this movie, "He's Back" (The Man Behind The Mask). The music video had a bunch of great clips from the movie in it.
I just watched this movie and remembered that you had found the filing location and recorded it, thanks mate
This is so great. One of my favorite F13 sequels! I just discovered your videos today and I'm hooked. Thank you so much!
Friday 13 part 6 is one of my favorite films of the series, but Jason had the coolest incarnation and look in part 7.
Great vlog. Love the Friday the 13th movie franchise. Can watch these movies over and over.
More fabulosity from the one and only Adam the Woo. Sorry to sound like a fanboy but I really get a kick out of these movie location videos.

Awwww shit son!!! Awesome job with this and I can't thank you enough for posting this. I still remember how fired up I was when this movie came out.
Just watching part 6 again for the first time in awhile. It still baffles me wondering who would bury Jason and put up an actual gravestone.
The underground storage area/mine in Day of the Dead in Pittsburgh would be an awesome place to visit...
Just stumbled onto this. Great video. Probably my 2nd/3rd favorite sequel. Looks like it'd be a blast to visit these sites.
Another awesome video. You're the master at film location tours. Many thanks.
This guy is very accurate with his locations. Friday 13th part 6 was flimed in Covington, ga. At a state park called hard labor creek in morgan county. Camp Daniel morgan is still there, It's use as a camp site for the state park. The old cabins are still there as well.

Awesome job you two!!!!
different thought filming the movie locations painstaking job must thank you
thanks for documenting this, it's not going to be around forever. i'm sure they'll knock it down soon

this was 1 of my favorite out of the series for sure
ur awesome i love friday the 13th great videos please keep them coming

i always enjoy your videos. great job! Ricardo from Saint Petersburg Florida
It would be so cool to visit these iconic locations.
Camp NoBeBosCo ??
It would be cool to hear from someone that actually was there seeing when they did the filming :O
Ace episode man! If you ever get the chance to go to any abandoned railway stations please let us know. I love trains, man.
To cool. Thank-you Adam. Keep the great videos coming.
when Jason popped out that scared the living he'll outta me
Jason's grave from the intro to the movie was in a cemetery that the crew built...they say in the commentary of the Deluxe version of Part 6
It's amazing how you always find these places. Sorry Ginger, you're not as scary as Jason. You're a LOT prettier than he it though!
Cool video. Jason Lives is my favorite. That broad does a good Jason walk.
i did work on a holiday site once myself, popcorn kernels in an upturned lightshade will cause a few to jump after a while!
Cool video. Love all the jason movies
Hopefully you can do some locations from the Halloween series, or the Nightmare series, etc. Though Nightmare might be a bit tough since I bet they were mostly set pieces.
Great job Adam!. (AKA.Woomaster). :)
I've actually been to this location as well. Once again great video, Adam.
