Thanks I was at the thought that the western go to limit was from the meridian not the western position limit. That explains some weird going on I have. The videos are very helpful in explaining the going on of the Gemini. I know the videos are time consuming. So thanks again.

One issue the I came across when using sequencing software (NINA in this case)was that I need to checking the 'flip when goto option' in Gemini telescope setting. If I didnt the scope wouldnt flip within the flip window..

Have you got any advice on setting up gemini 2 and asiair plus to perform a meridian flip ? In ZWO instructions it advises to turn off the mount settings and use the app settings instead!

Great Video. Question. How long should you go before changing the Gemini battery? Otherwise when it's low it will start doing some crazy things during the meridian flip. Thanks. Sean

How about a message on the hand set upon power up that the battery is low or maybe a small light on the cover plate?

@Sean The Gemini 2 battery usually lasts for about 2-3 years. I haven't heard anything about it doing "some crazy things during the meridian flip" so I recommend contacting tech support with the steps you followed, the results you received, and the log files for your nights in question. we'll get it sorted

@@seanmolony-redstickastro238 Totally agree - in fact that alert is already part of Gemini, which makes me think your battery is not low

Well my mount was slewing in the wrong direction and going to the wrong part of the sky. When I called you had me change the battery and it fixed all of it. I metered the battery and it was low. I was just pointing it out. Runs fine now. Thanks Sean

@@seanmolony-redstickastro238 Glad it's working. I don't recall the details, it's certainly possible your battery was low, although i would expect to see that warning on your hand controller. It's also possible when you changed out the battery your Gemini settings were reset.
