Managing Partial Foot Amputees

The final design of an orthosis for a partial foot amputee depends on many factors including the patient's weight, activity level, reason for amputation and the shoes they wear. Beyond toe fillers there are several things that can be done to protect the remaining foot and help the patient approach a smooth and efficient gait.
