Dope Haul Bruce! The red sonja thing is so true lol. I haven't bought my first one yet but it keeps calling to me every FOC lol
Haha one thing I might suggest to avoid or to do… go back and check older runs of both Red Sonja and Vampirella. There are some amazing artwork for high.

They are good ones! Spent $100 on each and in these grades they are worth an about $300 each.

I guess maybe if you are sending in monthly or weekly submissions then I would probably forget or loose track. But otherwise I don’t see how you don’t check… haha

Congrats on the books love the Dave Steven covers I've gotten a few graded over the years fortunately in a 9.8 almost send in my Planet Comics number 1 would probably only get a 9.4 2 9.6 so I opted not to but it looks so great graded I might send it in anyway
I would go for it! 9.4 or 9.6 sound amazing!

Great video, Bruce! I’ve been collecting modern comics for a while and have always wanted to get my favorite covers graded just to have it for myself. I don’t know anything about cleaning/pressing my comics and sending them off to get graded. Do you have a video on that? If not, if you made a video about it, I would absolutely watch it!!
Hi Sara, I do a videos on cleaning and pressing comics, I think there might even be a small play list with those videos. But unless you want to invest in $300ish dollars into the equipment and supplies needed to clean and press books it might make more sense to send your books to a clean and presser. They normally charge $10-$15 per book. If you have any questions please let me know.
The Predator is the only book that makes some sense, it being Copper
I’m a super new collector and haven’t had anything graded yet. Do you have a video that explains how to look at a book and tell approximately what grade you think it will be?

HELP !! After inspecting the outer casing of a slab, as to why the upper and bottom halves were misaligned, is this a cgc manufacturing error or was the slab tampered with? My nail snags on the right side of the slab where both halves connect. Any ideas ?
I would reach out to CGC and let them know the issue and they should be able to help you out. The issue you are explaining should not be happening, so they should fix it.
The thing is I bought the slab off ebay. It seems I should return it. For context, it is x men 6 signed by Chris Claremont.
@@forsakenV12 It does not matter if you bought it off eBay, you can still contact them and find out next steps to getting it fixed. You might have to pay a reholder fee, but at least you will fix your case.

Why would anyone slab modern books……..I don’t get it?
To me these are art pieces that I want to display on my walls. I fully appreciate that art is subjective and what I like most other people probably do not. What’s right for me sounds like it does not work for you, but that is the great thing about this hobby, there are so many different ways to collect. Thanks for watching.
I get wanting to display books with great covers, I wish I had the room to do it myself, but there are cheaper but just as good ways to do it especially when the book will never be worth the cost of grading. Why spend $40 to grade a $5 book when you can buy a $10 case that's just as good as a CGC case? And getting anything less than a 9.8 on a modern book is disappointing, especially when the book will never be worth anything. You could've bought a dozen more books for the price of one grading or 5 non-graded display cases.
Hey Don, I totally get where you’re coming from. But I have not found a $10 case that stands up to a CGC or CBCS case. It is all a personal preference and I do not mind spending that amount of money. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment
I think CGC graders give 9.6 grades because they feel upper management will doubt their abilities if they give out to many 9.8s. They have a mandatory grader note for sure. We suffer for it.
