Really nice explanation on why Azur Lane is a great game for someone to pass the time and not getting stressed or pressured due to the gacha's drop or the difficulty to progress the game. I have a fulltime job that give me so less time to play games so having something like Azur Lane where you can play at your own pace is really nice. Also something to note, the AL community is freakin friendly and helpful, which I really appreciate.

In my opinion Azur Lane is the most user friendly Gacha game on the market. When you compare the drop rate to something like Genshin, it's insane how generous AL is. The only money you need you can spend on hot skins :)

I just started playing around July, I mainly played mobas the past decade and some triple A's. I used to play genshin/priconne/konofan and mainly burned out of genshin. Azure lane hits the spot, it is the perfect auto battler gacha game.
as a no lifer that has been on 100% collection rate and about half of them maxed out for over 2 years now, I can safely say that this early look into it it's spot on. Pretty much highly recommended, the only currently negative point gameplay wise for me it's the chips and arrays needed to go past 100-105- ... -125 which are scarce as F and you will hit that wall pretty fast
@@solidsnake434 play long enough (i play since halve a year after release with no breaks) and you will reach a point where you will have more than enough of those too. i have 95k chips and 1800 arrays. but i don´t even know who i should limit break at this point because i already have 70 shipgirls at level 125 and i didn´t bother counting how many i have at level 120

No. I am almost 5 years In playing daily and hard, you lvl up so many shipgirls those chips are not even close to enough, I have currently 242 maxed shipgirls, my account is lvl 140 and I have around 50 shipgirls with enough EXP to get to 125 that I cannot lvl up cuz of the stupid chips. Many more for 120 The only way would be to buy them with cash, and I refuse to spend on anything that are not skins in this game. And I have the game running farming all day on my phone on the side.
Started this game in the very first event international was running ... set myself a goal to work toward But by now I have finished it: Collect every single Ironblood ship , full level and full skills , what's there even left to do? :( The Sakura Empire just isn't as cool
I play it for both plots, although the story one is confusing at times and had quite a long vid made about it by creator Hawk2zero. Explaining the overall lore and timeline. P.S. My thoughts on waifu vs meta are, go with whatever You like and if Your fav is meta aswell. That's the more reason to enjoy. Examples from bad to emazing ships I like: Jamaica, Ranger, Hiryuu, Kirov, Roon, Toricelli and my beloved sword dork since 2021... Hakuryuu xD

My point being is yeah. you dont really need any "get them fucked, ships" (looking at you new jersey) you just need ships with good synchronization with each other and a little bit of effort put into their build. Although i say this but i do put new jersey, shinano, and musashi in the same fleet. Dont worry I make up with it with the synchronization part with the vanguards, Buffing the rear. Not gonna disclose my vanguard ships cus I'm gonna get bashed but they do work... dont judge me. And FYI i only do this in campaign cus i wanna see em ships burn.

Just redownloaded the game and tried to find my old account. Tried gmail and yahoo, facebook and twitter(even though i dont jse twitter) and tried every server and wasnt able to get find it. Since i really dont want to do everything over again i dont think ill play this game anymore

I totally agree! It's very f2p orientated. Don't have to stress about not getting a girl and the powercreep isn't that bad. Good skins and marriage are just the icing on the cake

personally, i think azur lane's real gameplay is fleet building... there are surprisingly number of things to consider in fleet building when come to such a simple looking game..

That really depends on the Arbiter difficulty. I have no problems clearing the 1st difficulty with auto combat alone, and the 2nd with auto combat and subs. If I have to use of the revive for 50 AP is a 50/50.
I gotta say that Azur Lane is actually a fun Gatcha game, i liked it alot but stopped playing because my 3D Waifu didnt approve of me collecting 2D Waifus. And because the Skins nowadays are borderline Hentai.

As an anime fan. and a person who is interested in history, particularly that of the second world war, I tried to watch this series but stopped on the second episode. I don't get it. Are they human, or machine, or some bizarre mix of the two? In the first episode, I was looking for the attack on Peral Harbor to be the opening battle of the war, but what they showed was an unusual mix of ships in a battle that never happened, though the WW2 factions are correct. In the episode, the USS Enterprise sank the IJN Kaga, which is historically accurate. It lost me when the IJN Akagi swooped in a saved her. How did that work? I don't pretend to understand any of this, and just gave up on it.

Really good video. I'm finally giving my chance to Azur Lane, I'm not the idle games guy. Also I have to say, the UI it's confusing me so hard. There's so many things and stats, is not as simple as the same atk def and crit. I hope I can used to it soon, because the girls are awesome.
I've been playing Azur for quite a time now and it's more fun with each passing day. I have cleared most of the content but I am still logged inside the game for 4h min per day. Sometimes I just open the game and that's it.
You forgot that the story is also quite good. We went from simple “Reenactments” to full on battles against eldritch horrors. Seriously, how the hell do the vast majority of Japanese games have really good stories!?
I am a new player, and the thing that pushes me to play this GAME is my love to the anime "Kantai collection", and also i started watching their own animated episodes Azure lane so i tried playing the game. It's been 2weeks and a half i already cleared 7-4 all 3 stars and 3 lvl 100 Ships and AND MY LUCK TO GETTING UNZEN IN JUST 3 PULLS IS INSANE my first UR ship.
And also i wish that if ever they release Yamato her design is the exact same in kantai collection, because she's so pretty literally so perfect for musashi🤩🤩
The gameplay is dog water but the art is normally top tier and the fleet building is intricate enough without being as overwhelming as other gachas, doesnt hurt that the grind to midgame is very short nowadays, and endgame being the difference between clearing content and one shotting bosses so it is casual friendly. Also if you are a ship nerd the game is heaven
@c4cole436 Hard agree, gameplay mid af but it's decent enough for gacha standards. Art top tier and it's GOATED for ship fans is the real seller, also the fact that the gacha is free
AL is the only gacha that ive played as a f2p and got 100% collection..yes i got them all, finished all the hard maps(hard modes,EX modes,Opsi) and got to top1 of pvp. All that without spending real money.
Definitely a very free to play game with dock space and skins being the only thing you need to really spend money on. Biggest complaints for is how long reruns take and gameplay is not the most fun.
I played a lot of gache games I think this game is easiest gache game that you can play compare to geshin impact, Hokai StarRail, Nikke, Princess connect, Blue Archive, Counterside, Ume Pretty derby, Hokai 3 impact and many more, I can't remember the other gache games I played. All games I played, Azur Lane is easiest to get your waifu that you want and item drops are much easier and less crap compare to games I mentioned before, so other gache games have crap drops rates that forces you to spend a lot of real money to get waifu you want and item drop is crap too. Only problem with Azur Lane is limit on fuel and credit are limited by your level and your also run out of dock space and item space, in order expand your dock space/item space, you need to spend gems on increasing your dock and item space. I recommend getting boost pack like weekly package and daily item (30 days) and save your cubes for special collab events and special events. I have played this game for 2709 hrs and I'm going to still play this game until this game shut down

Honestly Azur lane is partly the reason why I got interested in Naval history and the actual history of the Real WW1 and WW2 Battleships, Carriers, Destroyers etc The other reason was because of the planes that were used during ww2 Hellcat, Corsair P-38 etc
I just got into the game randomly while messing around with getting virtualization to run on my PC ( not as smooth as it shouldve been ). I only ever played Dokkan battle and hate the free to play grind in gachas almost as much as I hate spending 100's of dollars on .png's. But this game had a very fair and friendly free to play model opting to make its money primarily through skins than from impossible rate gachas and constant power creep so I stuck around. Im having a good time treating it as an idler and team builder. Subscribed

personally, i think azur lane's real gameplay is fleet building... there are surprisingly number of things to consider in fleet building when come to such a simple looking game..

Ngl, I've never played Operation Siren. I did the first few missions and forgot it existed.
That really depends on the Arbiter difficulty. I have no problems clearing the 1st difficulty with auto combat alone, and the 2nd with auto combat and subs. If I have to use of the revive for 50 AP is a 50/50.
I gotta say that Azur Lane is actually a fun Gatcha game, i liked it alot but stopped playing because my 3D Waifu didnt approve of me collecting 2D Waifus. And because the Skins nowadays are borderline Hentai.

As an anime fan. and a person who is interested in history, particularly that of the second world war, I tried to watch this series but stopped on the second episode. I don't get it. Are they human, or machine, or some bizarre mix of the two? In the first episode, I was looking for the attack on Peral Harbor to be the opening battle of the war, but what they showed was an unusual mix of ships in a battle that never happened, though the WW2 factions are correct. In the episode, the USS Enterprise sank the IJN Kaga, which is historically accurate. It lost me when the IJN Akagi swooped in a saved her. How did that work? I don't pretend to understand any of this, and just gave up on it.
Uhh, it's very loosely based on WW2, and the anime's source is a gacha game.

Really good video. I'm finally giving my chance to Azur Lane, I'm not the idle games guy. Also I have to say, the UI it's confusing me so hard. There's so many things and stats, is not as simple as the same atk def and crit. I hope I can used to it soon, because the girls are awesome.
Yeah, the UI can be confusing at first, but honestly I wouldn't worry about too many of the buttons rn, just the resources/fleet/battles/missions

I've been playing Azur for quite a time now and it's more fun with each passing day. I have cleared most of the content but I am still logged inside the game for 4h min per day. Sometimes I just open the game and that's it.

I am a new player, and the thing that pushes me to play this GAME is my love to the anime "Kantai collection", and also i started watching their own animated episodes Azure lane so i tried playing the game. It's been 2weeks and a half i already cleared 7-4 all 3 stars and 3 lvl 100 Ships and AND MY LUCK TO GETTING UNZEN IN JUST 3 PULLS IS INSANE my first UR ship.
And also i wish that if ever they release Yamato her design is the exact same in kantai collection, because she's so pretty literally so perfect for musashi🤩🤩

Wow peoples standards have been lowered by shit gachas when that’s a good game.
The gameplay is dog water but the art is normally top tier and the fleet building is intricate enough without being as overwhelming as other gachas, doesnt hurt that the grind to midgame is very short nowadays, and endgame being the difference between clearing content and one shotting bosses so it is casual friendly.
Also if you are a ship nerd the game is heaven

AL is the only gacha that ive played as a f2p and got 100% collection..yes i got them all, finished all the hard maps(hard modes,EX modes,Opsi) and got to top1 of pvp. All that without spending real money.
AL is a type of game for people with no time to play and just auto game it on the side when you do your job at the same time

Definitely a very free to play game with dock space and skins being the only thing you need to really spend money on. Biggest complaints for is how long reruns take and gameplay is not the most fun.

I played a lot of gache games I think this game is easiest gache game that you can play compare to geshin impact, Hokai StarRail, Nikke, Princess connect, Blue Archive, Counterside, Ume Pretty derby, Hokai 3 impact and many more, I can't remember the other gache games I played. All games I played, Azur Lane is easiest to get your waifu that you want and item drops are much easier and less crap compare to games I mentioned before, so other gache games have crap drops rates that forces you to spend a lot of real money to get waifu you want and item drop is crap too. Only problem with Azur Lane is limit on fuel and credit are limited by your level and your also run out of dock space and item space, in order expand your dock space/item space, you need to spend gems on increasing your dock and item space. I recommend getting boost pack like weekly package and daily item (30 days) and save your cubes for special collab events and special events. I have played this game for 2709 hrs and I'm going to still play this game until this game shut down

Honestly Azur lane is partly the reason why I got interested in Naval history and the actual history of the Real WW1 and WW2 Battleships, Carriers, Destroyers etc
The other reason was because of the planes that were used during ww2 Hellcat, Corsair P-38 etc

I just got into the game randomly while messing around with getting virtualization to run on my PC ( not as smooth as it shouldve been ). I only ever played Dokkan battle and hate the free to play grind in gachas almost as much as I hate spending 100's of dollars on .png's. But this game had a very fair and friendly free to play model opting to make its money primarily through skins than from impossible rate gachas and constant power creep so I stuck around. Im having a good time treating it as an idler and team builder. Subscribed
